He was very personable and answered all the questions I had. He was prompt and professional as well.

It was excellent! He was very honest and very thorough. I didn't end up needing any work and I appreciated his honesty. They did a bunch of different tests and everything turned out fine.

They did great! They actually called us two days beforehand and asked if they could show up and start work early. Once there they rocked the foundation repair. It was quick and done right. The engineer's report showed that there were no more issues and it comes with a lifetime warranty. Highly recommended!

Based on the findings, the indicated there was some settling but no urgent need to change the piers. They still provided an estimate if we wanted to re-shim everything to level, but suggested that we wait a bit to see if there is more significant movement. Appreciated their honesty

No pressure sales. The employee drew a rough sketch of the perimeter of our home and inspected the foundation. He advised where to provide additional moisture, and suggested a simple solution on how to provide the correct amount of water to the foundation.

The initial work-up on the job went fine and the end result was very good. It went on schedule and the clean-up was great -- every bush and stone was back in it's original place. They were very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions, which gave me a good peace of mind! This was the first time I had used them, and I would use them again in the future as well as recommend them to others.

The service went great. They were very professional, they got the work done really quick, and I couldn't be happier. They came out and gave me an estimate, and then came this Friday, that is when I had scheduled it. The work seems to be good to go.

It was not a good experience with A-1 Guaranteed Foundation Repair. The man who came out was fine. He was nice. I had paid the money to have him tell me about the watering plants around the foundation and everything which he said very little. Except that he saw that I hose at the garage and he said that it is not going to do you any good with this sitting out in the garage. I didn't need to pay to have that said to me. That was okay. He started telling me all these things that needed to be done for the foundation. Everything was fine. I agreed to everything, I did not sign anything. He said he would back in touch with me. I got an email from a man named Jeff that had put my quote down and had also said that they were going to use the concrete piers. I finished reading the email and then I wrote back. I asked why they were using the concrete piers instead of the steel piers asking them if this is just your personal choice. I did hear back one time where he said that the others are very expensive. I had emailed him again and then he did not respond. I never had any more response from him. I did go with another company. I would not recommend them to anybody. He just kind of walked around the house and then he looked at the foundation and said that my house was sinking and that I definitely needed foundation work done and told me what he would do. He also said we are probably going to have to put piers going through your living room. I thought okay. I didn't like that so I kind of question him about that. He said that it was very common but it raised the red flag for me. I got my foundation fixed and it didn't have to come into my living room. I can't imagine why anybody would have said that. I was not pleased. I would grade them the worst. They did come at the time they were supposed to come. Sometimes I just overlook that type of things. I would not use them in the future.

A-1 Guaranteed Foundation Repair came out to give me information and it was general information and things I already knew. They did a good job. I will have them to come out and fix it, when I can afford it.

He was great. He was very professional and very friendly. He was here on time. He was very cooperative, we had to reschedule a few times with him and he was alright with it. He still showed up, when it was convenient for me for him to show up, and he did it without any kind of complaint. They were excellent. I was very pleased with them. The service was great, it was 1st class all the way. It was professionally done, the man took his time to explain everything as he went, left me with some good information, and followed up with an email.

Everything turned out well. It was easy to get in touch with him, he arrived on time for the appointment, and he offered very helpful advice on the situation. Furthermore, he was a good listener and wasn't pushy in his recommendations which we liked.

I can't recommend these guys enough. Once the work was all planned via inspectors we set a date and the crew was there at the exact time specified and got to work fast. Once all the digging was done and the house was ready to lift, Jeff showed up and directed all of that, all the while showing me what all was being done. It was very interested and super impressive. After they were all done the guys cleaned up *very* well. Highly recommended.

Very helpful. He arrived promptly and measured the entire house and advised me of a few areas that needed to be watched. He also recommended a watering plan to improve the current situation. He will re-evaluate in 3 months.

Work was timely, even when unexpected complications were encountered. They dealt well with the unfortunately upset next-door neighbor. Quite satisfied, over all.

The lower cost method of using soaker house at strategic location around the foundation to see if that would correct the problem. They plan to return in February-March time frame to check out how this is working. They will be coming back in the next month to review the foundation situation and discuss what further work is needed. We look forward to their follow up inspection.

The initial inspection was completed on-time and all our questions were answered. The inspection was done visually and with instrumentation. All our questions were answered and time was taken to describe to us what was being done and what was required. Additional resources were recommended, a plumbing inspection to assure there were no leaks under the foundation and an inspection by a structural engineer to confirm that their "fix" was the most appropriate. Both the plumbing and the engineer inspections were scheduled by A-1 after we agreed. An estimate of costs was provided within 24 hours after the inspection. After we agreed with the estimate, a repair date, plumbing inspection and engineer inspection was scheduled. A-1 showed up on the scheduled repair date on time to and ready to go to work. It was obvious that this was not their first time. All the workers knew what they were supposed to do and they started right away. The process was explained to us and any questions were answered. Additional measurements were made. Piers were installed, measurements were confirmed, time was taken to physically show us what moved and how much and how the piers were installed. Afterwards, electrical and sprinkler systems were confirmed to be working in the affected areas. Exterior repairs to mortar and caulking were made, as well as cement where it had to be removed during the pier installation. Clean up was thorough and the area was made to look like new. Our satisfaction was confirmed verbally and in writing. There were no "surprises" in the final cost. All in all, it was a very positive experience and I would not hesitate to recommend A-1!

very good, except now they have done a hydrostatic leak test and told me i have a leak under the master bedroom and that the cost is $3200. i am not haoppy with this because for all i know the leak was caused by them when they raised the foundationl. now they use scare factor saying that if i do not repair the leak, it could attract termites which would require further expensive repairs. | |i certainly did not expect to pay additional costs, especially if i did not cvause the problem. | |i liked everything about this contractor except for the $3200 surprise. i thought the $6200 was a total price and do not recall hearing that there would be any additional costs. i did not rate tlhis into my evaluation, but perhaps i shoud.

My concern prior to calling on any foundation company was that I would get someone that was just interested in making some money and may not give me a true picture of my situation. After taking all the necessary readings, I was pleasantly surprised when Kevin (A1 Foundation Repair) stated that my foundation was still within normal specifications. He also took the time to make multiple suggestions on how I might correct the watering around my house in order to keep the foundation structurally sound. He also provided me, via email, his drawing he took with all the measurements and a document on watering and soaker hoses. One of the suggestions we discussed was having an irrigation company possibly provide some drip lines to the front of the house to address some of the minor settling that was occurring. He asked that I let him know how that goes and that he would even come back out and re-measure again. This is the kind of service that is hard to find these days. If I should need any foundation adjustment or know of anyone that does, my recommendation will definitely be A1 Foundation Repair. Thanks Kevin for your service. It is very much appreciated.
