Description of Work: These folks are absolute professionals. After servicing my generator, they walked me through what had been done. I had a few questions and they answered them on the spot which told me these folks know what they are doing. I will definitely have them back when I need generator servicing.

Description of Work: ANGIE'S LIST COST $99 FOR 2 HOURS ELECTRICAL WORK. 6 ITEMS ON MY LIST. THEY WOULD NOT START UNTIL I AGREED TO PAY FOR A 'THIRD MAN' WHO THEY BROUGHT, ADDING 2 HOURS FOR ONE MAN. I COULD EITHER AGREE OR GET NO SERVICE. I AGREED BY BULLYING 3 MEN AGAINST ONE FEMALE AND MY LIST OF 6 ITEMS WERE COMPLETED. THESE ITEMS WENT OVER BY 1 HOUR AND MY COST WENT OVER FOR 3 MEN ONE HOUR, PLUS SUPPLIES COMING TO $280 WHICH I PAID BECAUSE WAS GLAD TO HAVE THESE JOBS COMPLETED. MY BELIEF IS PARCO WAS ANGRY THAT ANGIE'S LIST RECEIVES THE MONEY FOR 2 HOURS WORK, RATHER THAN PARCO. MY OPINION BROUGHT 'THIRD MAN' IN ORDER TO RECOVER THE MONEY. NOT ETHICAL IN MY VIEW. NO I'M NOT RECOMMENDING TO MY FRIENDS, HANDED BACK THE PARCO 'COUPON' FOR FUTURE REFERRALS. :( |

Description of Work: They did a great job of adding outlets and light fixtures throughout my home. They ran into one snag in adding an external outlet but will be coming back to complete the work.

Description of Work: Technicians arrived within an hour of our request for service. They checked out what we assumed was a faulty circuit breaker and found that it was a faulty GFI receptacle that was popping off. They replaced the GFI receptacle as well as checking out all GFI receptacles to make sure that they were not being overloaded. We were happy with the results. One question: Do the technicians wear long sleeved shirts all summer?

Description of Work: They were efficient, cleaned up after themselves, gave excellent advice (and coupons!) and we will definitely hire Parco Electric again.

Description of Work: This was a promotional 1-hr of 2 electricians. We replaced 3 under-counter lights plus 1 fixture and also 3 pond lights.

Description of Work: I needed two outdoor light fixtures replaced and weather sealed. I already had the fixtures, so I just needed a professional to install them properly. | |I first called the number listed on Angie's List for Parco Electric after I bought my deal and to my surprise the person on the other end answered, "hello?" I took a double take on my phone. Did I call the right number? I did indeed. He directed me back to Angie's List to submit my scheduling request. So I did. After a day or two the owner, Aaron, responded with some scheduling options. We agreed on a date and time. That date and time came and went and nobody was showed up. So, I messaged Aaron with my discontent. He gave me what I can only assume was a flippant apology. We rescheduled and, to my absolute surprise, it happened again. This time Aaron was smart enough to have an associate call to say, and I'm paraphrasing, "Nanny-nanny-boo-boo." | |On our third attempt, someone finally came and did a proper installation. The guy was nice enough, but at that point I couldn't care less about much else. I just wanted to get the job done. And it was done, finally. | |As with all my Angie's List experiences, Parco Electric was another dud. I would not recommend them.

Description of Work: GFCI. Pool light rewire and replacement.

Description of Work: Installed an outlet and identified a broken outlet and reason for the outlet not working. Made the non working outlet safe again.

Description of Work: Had two projects for them and decided to complete neither as they required opening a wall and soffit vent. Instead they install three new wall switches for me.

Description of Work: Spent 2 hours finding the source of our problem, said they would come back to fix it. Never came back.

Description of Work: They added 20 amp GFCI w/ box and cover and charged an unexpected $75 over our initial cost of $99. They did a good job. My husband would have picked up the parts himself, we have never incurred additional costs before when taking advantage of an Angie's List offer. We will be more prepared next time and ask more questions about additional costs.

Description of Work: They replaced two failed gfi plugs and tightened several connections. Great job. Completed in about an hour.
