Upfront arrived on time and completed all the work requested of them. There were flexible to complete additional tasks I had them do since they were already on site. I would use them again.

Joseph arrived on time, explained what they would be doing, asked if there were any problems areas I wanted to point out, and then got started. They were done in about 45 minutes. Carpets looked and smelled great!

It went well. What I appreciate is the fact that the person who bids the job is the same one who performs the job. So many times you agree to a job with a salesman and then the person who actually performs the work is a different person and you must go through it all again. With Upfront, you do it all with Joey. Be patient. Since he is both salesman and worker, it was several weeks before he could get out here to first look at the job. The wait was worth it. Thanks Joey.

He came and was in and out within a couple of hours. I didn't have any problems. The work was satisfactory. He came at my convenience, at my next day off. I work every other weekend, so he fit in perfectly when my next days off where. He explained everything that he was doing and communicated very well. He told me exactly what he was doing and was professional. He probably could have cleaned up a little better. There were a couple places where there was some old caulking.

The company was very responsive when deal was purchased. They were very professional and arrived on time. One young man was also being trained. However, spots were missed and certain areas of our counters still felt gritty within a week of it being polished. We contacted the company, and they said just to email them for them to come back out. We did, and haven't heard anything back after attempting to contact them multiple times.

Almost the entire house was done by them. They left few spots and could have done a better job. All in all not complaining for the Price/Service I have paid. I am a satisfied customer.

I called this company being not only an Angie's customer but seeing he had A ratings. I explained to him that I am in N the home is in Texas and gave him the code to the home to get in. I explained we have an agent and gave the phone number of both of us to call Saturday the day he was to do the job. I advised him I just lost my mom not even 2 weeks ago unexpectedly. I told him the tenant stiffed us 4.5 months rent and the day they moved out at eviction they left carpet very dirty as per our agent telling us. I waited a week for him to get there as I CALLED him Monday and he said he had a Saturday cancellation and said he didn't see a problem. I was honest the carpet was dirty as it rained the day they moved out but the house was empty. My agent had someone ready to do the job for $75 more but since I'm without rent over 4 months and pay for Angie's the man told me he didn't see a problem and would do the work Saturday. He tol me purchase the Angie's deal. Now with all the stressed and I work full time and my mom recently passing and trying t to clean out her apt. I have to now waste time to call Angie's for a refund. He left me a vm Saturday telling me the carpet would need replacement. So now I'M FURTHER without rent. I tound this unacceptable since in our discussion last week I told him to tell me if it were more than $200 to let me know. Now i'll lose time with getting the home rented. He did absolutely nothing. Now I need ask a refund. He assured me in the beginning that the home being empty and since he had a cancellation he was sure he could clean it, but would let me know if it needed a few dollars more as was my suggestion.

The carpet cleaning was okay, but I expected the deodorizer to linger longer than an hour or so. The tile and grout cleaning was not worth the money. The grout was still dirty after they left. They cleaned the tile and grout with the same machine they used for the carpet and I do not think they put any type of solution on the grout to assist in releasing any trapped dirt. The machine they used also did not have a vacuum component, which resulted in a soaking wet dirty floor after they left. The people are nice and professional; however, I do not think they have the proper professional equipment to perform tile and grout cleaning.

One tub had been poorly installed so he was not able to caulk. However he was very knowledgable and helpful regarding alternatives to our problem,including the suggestion that because of water damage we had, possibly our insurance policy would cover some of the necessary repairs.

I told one of the workers that they could move a lightweight bench to get under that area. Apparently that was too much work for them, they never moved the furniture to get under it. It didn't say anywhere in the Fine Print of the deal that they wouldn't move furniture, so I was upset that they didn't get under those places. They also dirtied up my wood floors with the tubing from the steamer. Asked the worker to wash the tube and clean those areas and he just barely wiped off the tube and quickly wiped the mess but didn't double check other areas to see if they were dirty. There were a lot of areas on my wood floor that were left dirty. They didn't seem to really make a huge effort. I was not happy at all with the service. They didn't even get the pet stains out. Maybe if you don't have spots or stained areas, they might do a better job for you. I will say one of the workers was very nice and friendly, but just didn't seem to make a big effort when I asked him to clean up the mess left on my floors. The other worker that came out was sour and not very friendly at all. I would not use them in the future

The tile didn?t really need cleaning, but there was a small amount of mildew that was growing on some of the grout and caulking, so I wanted to get it cleaned and replaced before it got worse. When Joseph and his assistant arrived they commented about how clean the shower was and seemed a bit surprised that I was even having this done. I told them that I like to stay on top of things like this so I can keep things in my house looking nice and clean. I pointed out the areas of mildew and asked them if they had any questions, before going to my home office to work. About 35 minutes later they called me in to say they were done and I was flabbergasted by the sloppiness. Instead of removing the all the silicone around the glass enclosure they just added more, sealing mildew inside and smearing the silicone on the glass and stone. They used very white caulk to replace the existing cream caulk which amplified the sloppiness of their lines along the light brown, beige and cream stone of the shower. I pointed out the mildew they had sealed in and a couple of the sloppy areas and they said they would fix it and less than 10 minutes later I was called back. They had dug out some of the mildew and slopped on more silicone. None of the caulking appeared to be redone. Joseph was outside in his truck with the motor running and I had to ask the assistant to go get him. When Joseph returned and I explained that the sloppy job was not acceptable, I was told that the only way to get lines of caulk that were as good as they were before was to use tape and ?that?s not the way we do it.? ?The bead lines are good and the job is complete. I?m sorry if you don?t like it.? I returned to the bathroom and looked at the work closely. There is silicone smeared up an inch or more along the glass and over much of the tile ledge below and the lines of silicone are lumpy and uneven. The caulk is the wrong color and the lines are smeared in several places and uneven throughout. The tile grout still has some mildew. There is caulk on the brass handle to the shower door. Small pieces of silicone and old caulking were all over the shower and bathroom floors and all of their trash was left in my bathroom garbage can. (Is that professional?) I called Joseph and asked for a refund, because I will now have to spend my own time cleaning up after them and hiring someone else to re-caulk and seal the glass. He agreed to a ?refund? if I requested it from Angie?s List by saying ?no services rendered? which would prevent me from writing a review that could be read by other users. That doesn?t seem fair to other members who would not find out that this company?s standards are quite low. Since I did not lie and say that there were ?no services rendered? he has declined to refund my money and has responded: ?Dear Member- The work was completed to the scope of work that you purchased. At the end of the day we simply were not the company for you. The deal you purchased simply was not for you. Thank you for your review.? He is correct I didn?t intend to buy a deal that resulted in a shower that looks worse than when he started and will now cost me more to have re-caulked because of the mess he made.

Efficient, punctual and professional. Work was excellent and done in minimal time

They came on time, they did a good job, didn't take long, they cleaned up and that is about it. We are very satisfied.

They showed up and quickly got to work. They asked a few questions about some stains to make sure they were using the right things to get them out. We just got a new puppy so there were several fresh pet stains. He pre-treated them and was ablie to get the stain and the smell out. WE had some issues with the scheduling because it was the peak of the holiday season and the first appointment had to be rescheduled because of weather and some equipment problems

They excluded the cleaning on first level since it was tile flooring (unit was empty) They completed the second floor in about half an hour and left!

They were very professional yet honest. Right off from the start they let us know that they would do their best to remove the odor from the carpet in our rental house but that they were sorry that they could not guarantee it. The were quick, efficient, and got the job done and did an amazing job.

He was very upfront and honest with me, explained that he could not polish the area around my faucet.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal, $99 for 50 square feet of granite counter top cleaning, polishing, re-sealing. My experience with UpFront Home Services was very good, start to finish: Communications setting up the job were easy. Joseph and his assistant arrived on time after calling and letting me know they were on their way. Joseph explained the job and answered all my questions. The granite looks great. I look forward to working with UpFront Home Services in the future.

The two person team came in and did a nice job. They arrived close to the booked time and were efficient and completed the job as expected. They also recommended some additional options for cleaning to help with the problem in the future. The only issue I had with the process was when I purchased the Angie's List Deal. I don't know if it was the vendor or Angie's List, but when I bought the package it asked me for some options when to have the cleaning done. I selected some options, and submitted them and completed my order. It wasn't until few days later that I had to reschedule using the vendor's system. Again- I don't know the limitations, but it was a confusing process.

Upfront Home Services was prompt, courteous, expedient and clean. They did a good job re-caulking the corners of a 4'x5' walk in shower that is tiled floor to ceiling including the ceiling with white tiles. However, they neglected to re-caulk the corners of the ceiling which I didn't notice until the next day. They also steam cleaned the shower tiles and grout, but I didn't see that much of a difference where there were stains. They were just a little lighter. I applied some Zap tile and grout restorer the weekend after and got much better results. Two men came, one who worked the shower, and an assistant. The assistant immediately "upsold" me on steam cleaning my upstairs carpets, which I was somewhat expecting. I agreed for him to steam clean the carpets as I agreed there were some stains that needed attention and the price was good. He gave me a price which I agreed to and he performed the work. The carpets looked much better after the cleaning. However, he then went on to tell me that I needed to add 3M carpet protectant for an additional charge in order to keep the carpets from trapping bad stains in the future. The carpet protectant was another "upsell" which I agreed to, but I would have rather been told the price of the carpet steam cleaning and the protectant up front instead of the continued "upsell". I know I agreed to it all, but it seemed a bit contrived and taking advantage of the customer instead of being honest up front.

He was prompt, polite and careful with his equipment getting in and out. He did a very good job. I had a bad stain on an expensive carpet and was thrilled he could get it out. I will definitely use them again.
