We had the work scheduled prior to hurricane Harvey's abrupt arrival. Our home was surrounded by curb deep water for about two weeks and we had planned a two week cruise which we were able to take after the water receded. The owner was very flexible, worked with us through the scheduling gyrations...and stuck with his price throughout. His guy showed up on time the day we rescheduled and got the job done very quickly...so I could leave on another trip.

I contacted the company and the very next day they assessed the damage and sent me a proposal on the work that needed to be done; work started promptly the next day. Joseph walked me through everything that needed to happen and called me on a daily basis to give me a summary of what had happened and helped collect data and photos needed for my insurance filings. After the initial work I contracted him again to do further remediation in order to meet mold testing guidelines. He was very thorough and was able to get us a passing grade on the mold test on the first try.

We had just enough water in our house after hurricane Harvey to get our carpets wet in a few corners of the house (we were fortunate not to get any sheet-rock or furniture wet). I pulled up the carpets and pads and dried them out for a few days in the sun. After putting them back I wanted a professional to clean them. After I made an appointment, UpFront came out the next day and cleaned three rooms. I was a little surprised that one individual showed up to do the work but, he was very fast efficient, and personable and finished the whole job in less than half an hour. I was very pleased with the work.

had purchased a voucher for $120 to have my carpets cleaned by Upfront Home Services. I purchased the voucher on September 21st and made the appointment for 9 am on September 30th. There was a 3 hour window for them to arrive. After waiting for them until noon, I contacted them via email to ask when the technician would be arriving. I didn't hear back from them, so I contacted them again at 12:33 pm via email. Finally Joseph emailed me back with the following response: "Kimberly- This is my mistake. The Appointment didn’t transfer over to our teams schedule for today. Unfortunately I don’t have any technicians available today. Is it ok if we reschedule your appointment to next Saturday or for a day during the week? I am so very sorry for the error!! Joseph" I am not going to be available for the next several weekends and I work during the week. I would suggest that anyone hiring them make double sure that your appointment is on their books. Their e-mail confirmation is not enough. I would suggest not doing business with this company. There are plenty of good carpet cleaners out there. Perhaps that is why they had vouchers with Angie's List. One good thing about this situation was that Angie's List was extremely prompt in giving me a refund. Angie's List is a top-notch organization! Thanks so much for your help. I asked them to contact this supplier and tell them that they need to treat Angie's List clients better than they treated me.

Everything went great! I sent an email from their website inquiring as to price, timing and where the rug would be cleaned. I received a response within minutes with answers to my questions and we settled on the next day for pickup. It was picked up early within the agreed upon time frame and taken to their location for cleaning and drying. The rug was ready a week later as promised and was again delivered early within the agreed upon time frame. Payment was made online from an emailed invoice. Those I met, and talked to via email, were very friendly and professional. I am satisfied with the service provided! The "approx cost of svc" includes pickup and delivery, cleaning, and sales tax.

My major concern in the downstairs bathroom was cleared about 80%. The bathroom counters came out nice. The kitchen counters looked better for a couple of days and then the luster disappeared. For the money I paid, I do not think the service was worth it except for the downstairs bathroom portion. There was some residual splatter from the countertop chemicals which got onto my stainless steel refrigerator and I had to scrub off. The technician was extremely professional and I appreciated his honesty and flexibility.

First - they were OPEN which was amazing considering it was only a couple of days after hurricane Harvey. They answered our questions and lined up a crew. The crew was super late... but considering the fact that the entire Houston metro is in absolute chaos, it's pretty understandable. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

It went as well as one could expect.

We had him clean 3 larger areas rather than 4 bedroom sized locations in the house. He showed up on time and was in and out rather quickly, but the carpets smelled clean. We had an issue with one of our dogs sneaking into the playroom and peeing. This service removed the smell of pee completely. Overall excellent job.

They were prompt. I think that I requested them on the 12th, and they came on the 13th. They were very friendly, the guy is an ex Veteran, and also I've gone to school with him. Those are qualities that I like.

Carpet cleaning and sanitizing was done quickly yet thoroughly with friendly, highly professional service.
