Description of Work: With a household that includes 4 dogs, I took advantage of a Angie's List carpet cleaning deal. The service included pre-treating stains and Scotch Guard protectant. | |The technician was later than expected and did a reasonable job of cleaning the carpet; but I did have to point out a couple of pet stains that he missed. When done, the carpet took far longer to dry than with my usual provider (an A provider originally found on Angie's List). Also compared to my usual provider, the carpet was not raked to raise the nap. If the Scotch Guard was applied it was far less than effective. I noticed that high-traffic areas looked dirty within a week; whereas that takes at least six-to-eight weeks when cleaned by my usual provider. | |Bottom line: it looked clean and unraked when the technician left, took over 24 hours to fully dry (compared to 4-6 hours), and showed dirt in high-traffic areas way too soon. I have since returned to my usual service provider.

Description of Work: They steam-cleaned and applied a product that was supposed to repel dog potty stains, for which I paid extra. I can't see that the repellant is doing any good at all, so I'm sorry I asked for that. They did a good job of the basic steam cleaning, and were prompt and professional.

 + -1 moreA-/B+ Score. Overall Roger did a great job once he got here. He was running late, not a huge deal and he called to let me know he was running late... 45 minutes after the appt time. Anyhow as I said once he got here he did a great job. He didn't rush, took his time and thoroughly worked small areas at a time. The end results were exactly what I was hoping for, clean looking/smelling carpets. I get my carpets cleaned about every 6 months and I will not hesitate to call SWAT again next time, great results at a very fair price.
