I called on very short notice and they were able to find a slot for me on the day I needed. The movers came within the time slot provided and moved everything in a very quick, efficient manner while still being careful with items. They were very professional, polite, and efficient movers. Will definitely use them again.

This is my 2nd time to use Midnight Hour Movers - I returned to them because they did such a good job on my first move (which was just a local move - this 2nd time, it was a long-distance move across Texas). Again, the movers were professional and friendly and got right to work - they worked very efficiently, with no wasted time at all. Everything arrived at my new destination in perfect condition - nothing broken, nothing missing. Their price was approx $200 - $300 lower than the other moving companies who provided me with estimates. Very good value for the money! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company.

They had difficulty with some of the furniture, but sent a more experienced mover to assist. It ended up taking longer than it should have, but they refunded for the extra time. I had a very good overall experience. They arrived on time and were very pleasant.

They showed up on time, worked diligently and tried hard to complete job in a timely manner.

Oscar and (pretty sure) Jay were awesome! They were polite, friendly, and took care of our valuables. So far as I can tell, nothing was broken at all. I felt comfortable with them there and sure that my belongings were in good hands. They did a great job and will definitely endeavor to ask for them again when I move again. These guys did rock solid work and I recommend them for sure. After all was said and done, they facilitated the payment process and it was all very stress free.

I was extremely pleased with care and knowledge shown by our 2 movers, Oscar and Tyler. They demonstrated more care for our belongings than any movers I have ever seen. Since we were moving to a house just a few blocks away, we used Midnight Hour Moving to move only furniture. They blanketed and shrink-wrapped each piece, carefully loaded on their 24-ft truck, and then unloaded and placed the furniture in new house. When I first called to schedule, Kika efficiently scheduled the move, estimating we would need a 24-ft truck. (That's exactly what we nearly filled up.) She estimated it would be a 3-hour move, so a cost of $285 at $95/hr. The actual time was just over 4 hours, although given the level of care the movers used, I was fine with the time spent. They kept busy the entire time. The final bill was also affected by a 3% up charge for using a credit card, rather than cash. They don't take checks. On evening prior to move, Kika called to confirm the move and arrival time, between 7 and 8 AM the next morning. She called the next morning to let us know they were running a little behind, but they still arrived before 8 AM. The only snag was that the movers ran out of shrink wrap about mid way into the move. Oscar said he could go get more, but I offered to get it so they could keep working. I used the store he suggested, expecting the $24 I paid would be deducted from the invoice. It wasn't. Kika explained to me that blanketing furniture is their "standard" and that doesn't include shrink-wrapping. As I was never asked if I wanted the items shrink-wrapped, their practice of making an added-cost assumption was a bit unprofessional. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service provided and I would recommend the company.

A nightmarel. I called about 5 days out to schedule the move. Was told that there was a two hour minimum and was given a choice of several two hour blocks to schedule.. I chose 10:00-12:00. They called to confirm the day before the move and told me that the two hours that I had scheduled was the window during which they would arrive, said they would call when they were on the way. Not what I expected but, okay. The day of the move, it's 11:30 and no word yet. I called and got a voice mail. Called back at 11:50. The owner answered and said that she had just arrived at the office but would call the crew for an ETA. Turned out they were going to be late and would miss the 12:00 deadline. II was peeved that no one had called me to let me know an ETA earlier and that I had to call them, and I let the owner know. I reminded them of the 12:00 deadline for arrival and I asked for a discount on the service given the inconvenience they had caused by setting back my schedule. Was told they didn't give discounts for being late. Hung up. Got a call from someone else at their office giving the crew's arrival time. Not new information at this point but I took the opportunity to again ask them to do the right thing and provide a discount. He refused. When I let him know that they'd be getting a lousy review here, he told me that the crew would just go to the next job and not show up at all, which is what happened. They left me in a lurch because they knew they'd be getting a bad review. Instead of making things right for the customer, they just refused to honor their agreement. I chose them because of all the positive reviews posted here but those sound like a completely different business based on my experience.

Best, easiest move EVER! Thank you guys so much! The plastic crate rental is GENIUS. We loved this option. We had 40 crates delivered 10 days before our move. I ended up needing to change the time of delivery of the crates the day before they were scheduled to arrive, and Marcus was able to have someone deliver the crates later that day rather than the next morning. The crates are a perfect size - not too big to be overwhelming when unpacking, nor are they too big so that once filled you are unable to lift them. My husband and I loved the convenience of not having to build and tape up boxes, not to mention not having to break down and store boxes after the move. GENIUS, I tell you. I wish I'd known about these crates last summer when we moved! Our latest move went so much faster because of the CRATES!!! On moving day the movers were scheduled to arrive between 7-8 am. They knocked on the door at 6:55am and got right to work! These guys were professional. They knew exactly how to take things apart, and at the destination put them back together. They didn't waste any time moving things around. They were seriously in and out in 2 hours, and that included the moving of big items such as a washer dryer, huge sectional, bunkbeds among the usual household furniture (tables, chairs, bookcases, queen bed, etc...) They were done and gone by 9am at our new house., and to let you know I was quoted an 8-hour move by other companies! Two days after the movers came, the crates were picked up. We had exactly enough time to use the crates again so we could run back to the apartment to get any stragglers. It was great. Everyone we worked with was professional and friendly. Everyone arrived when they said they would, in some cases earlier, which we really appreciated. The movers actually helped me arrange and re-arrange the furniture at the new place, and asked me where and how I wanted things place before they put it somewhere. Marcus always responded quickly to emails, and the guy who delivered and picked up the crates (I can't remember his name!) was super friendly. He saw us before the move when he delivered the crates and explained how they worked and how many we had, and then he wanted to hear how our move went and if we liked the crates after we were in our new home when he picked them up. It was nice to see the same face a couple of times during the move since a lot of moving companies employ so many different people you never know who you are going to see and/to talk to. My husband and I have moved about 9 times over the course of 15 years, and that includes corporate moves where the movers do the packing and unpacking for you, and some where we've bought tons of boxes and boxed and taped ourselves, and we both agree hands-down that this was by far the easiest move we have ever done! We are hopefully in our forever home now, so won't be moving, but I will recommend Midnight Hour Moving to all my friends and family from here on out. I've already suggested them to a good friend of ours and she's hired them for her move :) Seriously, hire Midnight Hour Moving, they are fantastic at what they do. Thanks, guys!

I joined Angies List to find a mover. Based on information from Angies List, I contacted this moving company. I explained my needs and the short time frame I had to perform the services. The job was to move my ailing mother's belongings from one assisted living facility to another. There was a limited amount of items to be moved. They notified me that cash was preferred and the drivers did not carry change. An hour after they were to arrive, the office person informed me that they were running late because persons did not show to work and it would be approximately another hour for them to arrive. The receiving home could not let the residents be disturbed by movers at a late hour. We cancelled the move and I had to make other arrangements. The move was an immediate high stress situation and this interaction wasted valuable hours with no visible results. Their ressponse was oh well. We performed the move, without the normal aides of moving and without assistance. I would not recommend them. Again, this was my first interaction with Angies List. It not only affected my feelings about this moving company, it tarnished my confidence in Angies List. I have not been back to your website since.

Midnight movers were very quick and efficient movers they handled everything with care and attention. Moved me from my condo to a house with pretty good speed and decent price. I would recommend them.

Scheduled them to come out first thing in the morning. The 2 man crew arrived as promised and got started. Loaded up a partial 3 bedroom home in just over an hour. The unloading took considerably longer due to A) three flights of stairs, and B) one of the guys injuring his leg inside of the truck tripping on a piece of furniture. In the end though, an additional man was brought out and I was not charged for the extra time, so I was pleased. I hear the injured man is back on his feet, so all is well. I found the crew to be very professional and really respected that they were on the clock. Would definitely hire again.

Big Daddy Moving provided an excellent service and we were impressed by their proactive communication, their approach to scheduling, and the professionalism of the movers. We would definitely use them again!

Packers arrived on time & went straight to work. They were courteous, quick and careful. They packed more things in 2.5 hrs than I could have in a week! Moving crew arrived as scheduled and worked non-stop! How they got it done I'll never know. These people are professionals!! They are honest and hard working.

They did a fantastic job! They were very easy to get along with. They moved everything quickly and efficiently. They had to take apart larger pieces of furniture to bring it downstairs and they also disconnected the washer and dryer. And when we reached the rental home they reconnected the refrigerators and washer and dryer. It was a very long day. They will be helping us move again in a few months when we move into our new house.

I highly recommend them to family & friends!

Hopefully we never have to move again but if we did there would be no hesitation to use Midnight Hour again! These guys were fantastic!

Obviously this company's specialty is moving, not cleaning. I contacted this company because it seemed that they specialized in move out cleaning and haul away, which is what I required. I had quite a bit of boxes and trash in the attic and garage that I needed taken away, plus overall move out cleaning. I was told that this could be done on my sized house in 2-3 hours by a two-man team. The house is a very small 2 bdrm, 1 bath house. I needed the carpets vacuumed, baseboards and window ledges cleaned (walls had been freshly painted already), bathroom and kitchen cleaned bathroom and kitchen floor cleaned. Also, a little bit of pantry clean-out (a few spices & food items). I left them to do the work and when I didn't hear back from them for 5 hours, I returned to the house. They had cleared out the attic (about 8-10 garbage bags and 12-15 small boxes of stuff) and had left all of this in the living room. They had cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed only two rooms, cleaned the window ledges in two rooms, removed the dishwasher, and were starting on the kitchen cleanup. After realizing that 10 man-hours had been spent doing only this, I told them to just finish up and leave, as I was way over on what I thought this would cost. I will now have to clean the house myself or hire another crew, and I will still have to haul away the trash, since I didn't want to pay another $150-$200 for this service. They didn't even haul away the dishwasher that they had removed, even though it was sitting nest to their trash trailer - they put it in my garage. Along with the trash that they were supposed to remove from the garage. Very unhappy with this service.

Scheduled move, however it had been raining for 2 days straight and our moving day happened to be the 2nd day. We were delayed approx 4 hours, but the company sent out a 3 mover (we had a 24 ft truck w 2 movers) without charge for the inconvenience and we were done in a little over 2 hours. Took excellent care of our belongings, would highly recommend in the future.

This is was the 3rd time we have used Midnight Hour Moving over approximately 5 years, and we have been pleased with every move. The crew we had most recently was excellent. They arrived on time (consistent with previous moves), were very professional, and moved our items with care. I recommend this company to my family and friends. Midnight Hour Moving has made a loyal customer out of us, and we will use them again should we move.

A team of four moved me from my larger house to a new townhome in 5 hours, including moving a baby grand piano and a sizable library. They were polite, efficient and performed exactly as I hoped. I would definitely recommend Midnight Hour Moving to anyone.

The move went exactly as planned and promised.

I have used them probably more than anybody else. They just do what they say they are gonna do. I am pretty pleased with their services. They are my moving company record now. My move with them usually runs from $100 to $600. They are about 20% cheaper than people that offer a similar service. The quality of their work is good. The owner calls every 5 minutes to check whether every move is done and making sure that everything is okay. I don’t know if he does it to everybody, but I get a call every time. One of the reasons I use them is that they respond either that day or the next day. They are very prompt. I will be probably calling them next week as I have some more work to be done.

They did a good. First the price was the price quoted. Excellent price. The movers were efficient pleasant no problems with them. They came early and delivered on time.

The guys (2) worked quickly and efficiently...willing to help out with anything. They were done before the 2 hour min., which we knew going in, would be the case. The guys wanted to fulfill their obligation, but we had nothing for them to do. We will use this company for our next move.
