I contacted Taylor Irrigation Service after having received a water bill last week for more than $500. The house is vacant so I couldn't imagine how we could have used that much water. I didn't find any obvious leaks inside so I suspected a leak outside in the irrigation system. I left a message and Amanda called me right back. She explained that their schedule was pretty full but she would try to find room and have someone come by as soon as possible. She followed up with an email. The next day I received a call from Jonathan who said he was in route to my address. I left work and met him at the house. He inspected the control unit and noticed that it was programmed to run 4 times per day and about 2 hours each. He corrected the programming and inspected each zone for me and he didn't charge me for the trip or the time. I am so impressed with both Jonathan, and Amanda. I would not hesitate to use this company in the future. They are honest and dependable.

I was initially skeptical of Taylor Irrigation as I reached out to them for a week straight and left several voicemails and never got a returned phone call. I finally left an F review and the owner John Taylor personally reached out to me to ensure I was given the level of service he and his team was committed to. With my research I had determined they were the best around so I had John put in an 11 zone irrigation system at my residence. He was able to start the following week and his crew had it installed in 4 days. John then personally comes out to inspect the installation and makes sure the installation is up to his HIGH level of standards. Throughout the installation John was very accessible and did a great job of communicating with me via email and phone. He personally came out to do the final walk around to help me understand the advantages of my personalized system and walk me through the technology installed. We started out on the wrong foot, but in the end I am extremely happy with his service. Take it from me, John will always make things right. If you need an irrigation system in Texas Taylor is where it's at!

The service has worked out well. We still have not had the work done, but that is more because of scheduling problems on my side if anything else. So, they have not really completed the work, but I would recommend them to other people. They have been very professional with me. The work they did for me initially was quite a while ago, and I just have been putting off getting the rest of the work done, but they did everything I asked them to. They are half-way between good and excellent. The price was excellent. I actually have called them for quotes on additional work.

The installation went very smoothly. The crewleader for the outdoor lightning system was very responsive.

After Taylor Irrigation returned my call they had told me they had a crew that was able to come out that very afternoon. They arrived quickly and repaired the broken line and replaced heads and rotors that were leaking. This is the second time I've I used their services and will continue to hire them for all my irrigation needs. The entire staff are very courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. This is an honest company with a good reputation (a rare find) these days

The backwash equipment and installation was $400 alone and the wireless sensor I had installed was another $150. So, the repair work including the underground leak fix was very reasonable in price. I was very pleased with his evaluation and professionalism. He was prompt and very thorough in his explanation of issues found. The repair crew was prompt, and in fact came earlier than scheduled at my request. They did a fine job and the system is now in tip top shape.

Taylor Irrigation came out. Brad was the service manager that came to do the work. I gave an overall B. Here is why. Brad was on time. Very nice. The ladies in the office were nice as well. I had to reschedule my original appointment due to a work commitment, and it was no problem. Reason I gave a B was because, well, I guess I thought I was going to get more for a tune up than what I got (perhaps I should have asked more questions and read more reviews). Tune up was really to adjust the heads, which was does (as far as I can tell). It did not include adjusting the angle of the spray (digging up, moving it a little, and putting it back). This was to be included in the "repair" portion that they provide you with a write up with. It is important to note, that I have an old system. Brad was able to describe the type of things he saw that made my system inefficient. He also explained a few things while he was there about the climate and why I don't need to water too much right now (until it gets hotter). I really appreciated these items. He also set the schedule to the right time for the weather/season we're currently in. They did send an extensive list of repairs. From the repairs, I don't think the cost is out of control, but again, I thought some of that was included in the tune-up. One thing I would have like, is if they had a schematic on the items they said needed to be fixed, so I could personally see how they were running and decide for myself if it needed to be done, instead of taking their word for it. Overall, I'd recommend it. But, you just have to know what you're getting.

Excellent service and professionalism. He reset the zones and educated me on watering within each. they also sent a follow up email with the scope of work needed/not needing done, etc.

The service professionals were prompt and provided only the services scheduled at a special Angie's List price (good deal!). After examination of the system, they made recommendations for improvements and changes. We were confident in their honesty and scheduled a follow-up for the necessary repairs and changes to the system. They were completed excellently and efficiently. We highly recommend Taylor Irrigation.

It was okay. I wasn't as happy with their followup. I got what I paid for. I don't have any huge complaint. They didn't overcharge or anything like that and the guy who came out worked pretty hard. The $99 thing that I got, I think that I got my moneys worth but I had asked for some additional followup services and it just never seemed to coordinate on them doing it. It might not have been enough work that they were that interested in. When he came out and did the $99, it kind of included the overhaul of the system and I just wanted a few little things. They're a little bit on the high on the pricing.

It went well. They were on time and very professional. However, they were supposed to get back to me about work that I would like done and I haven't heard from them.

All went well. Courteous personnel. Due to their work schedule, it took a while to schedule to find an appointment time. Other than that, I was very happy with the service.

Provider was punctual and upon arriving introduced himself professionally. Before arriving the office contacted me on his ETA - which is great. He explained in detail what needed to be done and worked with me so that I can make the control panel accessible while I was not at home.

I have found the right irrigation company. I could not be happier with Taylor Irrigation Services. I have recently moved in to a new (to me) home in the Katy area and inherited a sprinkler system. I called one company to come out and inspect and service the system. I was not happy with their service and wasted some money I wish I had back. They programmed my system incorrectly and flooded my back yard among other problems. Looking for a better company I found Taylor Irrigation Service on Angie's List and contacted them. It was a positive experience from start to finish. Amanda at the office was pleasant and friendly and set up the appointment for me. I was impressed on inspection day to have the owner of the company, John Taylor, show up for the work instead of some inexperienced worker. John was great and I could tell from the beginning that he is an expert. He patiently and thoroughly explained to me the basics of watering and irrigation systems. Then he set about inspecting the system. He came back to me with a thorough report of exactly what his findings were and what needed to be done. Again he patiently explained everything to me and did not seem to be in a rush to get out of there to the next customer. One of his recommendations was to not immediately make any modifications to a certain area but to watch it. He said he wanted to save me money and only do work that really needed to be done. I greatly appreciated this. He later sent me his detailed report in writing. He went ahead and made programming changes on the controller that would correct some of the problems I was having. I felt like I got my money's worth out of the Angie's List deal and service call. I thought about the recommendations and decided to move forward with them. Again Amanda was prompt and helpful in scheduling. Again John himself came out and did the work. To make a long story short, he replaced, repaired, and repositioned some of the sprinklers. Some he capped off. Then he installed a brand new high efficiency controller that I had requested. All of the work was done with great care and expertise. To top it all off, I decided I wanted to pay them for a one year service contract to maintain my system. This was quoted to me at $360 for the year. John gave me the first year of service for free because of the bad experience I had with the other company. Taylor Irrigation Services is EXACTLY the kind of quality company that I want to deal with. Professional, knowledgeable, expert in their field, friendly, and service oriented. I won't be calling anyone else and plan on dealing with them for years to come. I would personally recommend them to anyone in my family or any of my friends looking for irrigation service without hesitation. You should use them too!

They came out and not only did the diagnostics but they taught us about our sprinkler system and how to use. They got the repairs done in about one hour and they sent a crew out to complete the job. The scheduling was easy and they were able to accommodate my schedule.
