Response from ZODEGA-TIS
{Member's name}, Thank you for your incredibly insightful review. Your order was processed in a very timely manner and everything went according to plan with no problems to report. We showed up on time and completed the tune-up as per the description here on Angie's List. You were not home for the appointment that you made and we called on the way as per your request. Yes, we knocked on the door and your son was home and, as weird as it sounds, we let him know that we were there. Crazy, I know! I think that your question, "Why would I pay $100 for a tune-up" is asinine. I suppose I have the same question for you, sir; Why did you read what this service was and choose to purchase via Angie's List if you thought it provided you with no value because you can do the work yourself? Your review would seem to blame us for your initiative to purchase a service that you did not want but I am not too sure how my company has anything to do with that. I would love your keen insight as to how this might work because I am ill prepared to resolve such a problem. Now that you mention it, I think McDonalds should ask everyone that purchases a hamburger if they like hamburgers and warn them that hamburgers can be prepared at home. It may save us all a lot of money and provide a brief period of time that we can reconsider our purchase. Had you made the purchase in error or realized that you no longer needed the service we would have been more than happy to credit you but this was never brought to our attention and this service you are reviewing was rendered a half year ago. We sent a summary of the problems and damage that we found via email, along with an estimate, and never heard back from you. My advice would be that you should not purchase services that you do not want. The description of this particular service is found in writing right here on Angie's List and reading those kinds of things tends to be very helpful. If there is ever any confusion a simple phone call to my office would certainly help. To get an "F" for performing a service that you purchased because you could have done it yourself is silly and does not sit well with me. Other things that you can do yourself to save money (in hopes that I save some other companies a poor grade from you as well) include; changing the oil in your car, mowing your own yard, cleaning/ironing your own clothes, cooking at home, hanging your own Christmas lights, and cleaning up your own messes. I hope that you find this free information as valuable as we found yours. Happy Holidays to you and yours, kind sir. John A. Taylor President, TIS
