The tech was nice and professional. I am not sure about the diagnosis he gave me on what I need to have done to the chimney...I called and talked to the person who sets up the appointments--he was going to have a manager call me but I haven't heard anything yet...those are the reasons for the low ratings.

showed up late, but customer service was great. apologized for the tec who was late and unprofessional. Takes their service seriously and it was a priority to make the situation right. The customer service and follow up was outstanding even though the appointment didn't go so well

I was quoted $145 for job, they showed up and cleaned, then put some kind of chemical in and charged me more than double. Couldn't understand the worker very well. And on top of everything else, they left a terrible mess on my roof and driveway.

guy showed up to clean chimney and just vacuumed out the clean-out on the first floor, told me there was no reason to go on the roof to inspect the cap or sweep the actual chimney. I have had my chimney checked and cleaned every year for the last 15 years and they always went up top to sweep and check the cap. LAZY!!! I paid 160.00 for him to vacum. What a ripoff!!

Crew arrived on time, accessed the condition of my fireplace and gave me recommendations on repairs. They were able to fix the cracks in the cement at the top of the chimney that day. I was very pleased with the service.

Highly questionable business practices. Responded promptly and scheduled immediately to clean/inspect fireplace chimney. During inspection claimed insert fireplace panels need to be replaced and proceeded to put the high pressure sales approach. Claimed it would be $1500 and continued to press me while trying to dazzle with technical jargon and expertise. Told them the price seem excessive and I would need a 2nd opinion. Upon hearing that they became annoyed and completed the chimney cleaning. Did an okay job but seem to be in/out rather quickly for their $145 fee. Contacted a local fireplace dealer who carriers the heatilator line, and they quoted me $170 for the replacement panel and $220 to install. Needless to say I had them out to inspect the fireplace, confirmed the panel needed replacing for a total charge of $390. I would never recommend or use this company again. Highly unethical business tact. To add insult, a customer service rep called me the next day to follow up on the quote. Told her of my displeasure and real cost to repair, and she became short and then hung up quickly. Disappointed in Home Advisor and my first experience with the service. I would not consider this a reputable contractor. Stay away.
