He was great at explaining the proposed services for my home. I was pleased to be offered a quick turnaround at a time that was convenient for me. The techs David and Tom were great too. They were friendly and careful to not make a mess. I am looking forward to breathing easy tonight!

They did a good cleaning on my chimney.

United Home Services was great. They came exactly when they said they would, their technicians were 100% professional and courteous. The job that they came to do turned out to be much more challenging than they expected due to some unforeseen obstacles in the ceiling in which they had to route around in the installation of a new duct/vent for our dryer. They stayed late, stuck to their estimate and cleaned up without a trace. I am planning on having them come back to clean the ductwork of our entire house. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Very honest - excellent work

They arrived on time and made a walk-through of the house to determine locations and the number of all air vents. They explained thoroughly the steps they would take and the cost. As they did the work, they were very careful of the furnishings and were very good about cleaning up afterwards. The house has two heating/cooling zones, but don't take too much time to finish that part of the job. Tom then crawled under the deck to access/clean the dryer vent. They completed the entire job verry fast. I am very pleased with their work and with the result.

Very punctual, cautious and professional. Worked quickly and efficiently. When don showed me the stuff from my vents in the filter they use. It was immense. I would recommend them to everyone and anyone. It is so nice to know all that dirt dust and spores are gone from my home.

They Cleaned the entire house vent system as well as the dryer vent. Everything went very well.Tony showed up a few minutes early, explained the process, confirmed the price and then went to work. Everything was done in about 2 hours and he showed me the filter afterwards. I was very pleased and would use them again.

On Wednesday, January 19, 2022, United Home Services was contracted by my me and my daughter to inspect and clean the chimney in her house. The referral was done through Home Advisor with a price of $99.00 for inspection and cleaning. An employee of UHS showed up about 10:30. UHS sent an estimate for $1385.26 at 10:44 am explaining that the chimney was in bad shape and would need a more intensive cleaning due to creosote buildup, that the chimney?s frame was made of wood covered by a heat shield and the heat shield had cracks in it that would cause her house to catch on fire. He would need to add heat resistant sealer to seal all the cracks. He also explained that the chimney wood panel needed repair due to cracks in the wood that would allow bugs or rodents to get into the house. He said that the chimney wood needed waterproofing to prevent deterioration and further damage. We knew that the chimney was in need of cleaning and some repairs so I told my daughter to go ahead with the repairs as my grandchildren live in this house and their family safety is paramount. To our surprise, the employee of UHS was finished within 45 minutes! Any reasonable person who contracts a worker for $1385.26 would expect that the job would entail enough time, materials and expertise to justify that amount. The job a person would expect to leave the chimney in almost pristine condition. Most importantly, the person contracting this company feeling confident and happy about the job that was completed. I believe this chimney is only slightly safer than what it was before. I am very disappointed and will never hire this company again. I called the owner Mike and spoke to his assistant, John. I gave them one week to return the call and work with me, they never have.

I'd highly recommend United home service. They were considerate, efficient and professional. Everything was done in a very methodical and business-like way. They showed us before and after photos of our ducts, and again, Wow! Honestly, this is such a solid service company, and they deserve every great review they receive. Our ducts are clean, the house smells great, and my family and I couldn't be happier with the service.

These guys were great to work with in every aspect. From setting up an initial consultation, to actually hiring them and getting the work done, these guys were professional, responsive, knowledgeable and very personable. Ron in particular was great. He took plenty of time to educate me on the issue with my fireplace (the pilot would not stay lit) and his recommendation for fixing it. I would not hesitate to recommend or hire these guys again in the future.

Logan was very responsive to my questions and taught me sooooo much about fireplaces, chimney construction, wood stoves, operations, maintenance, and so much more. He is a wealth of information and an excellent resource in many areas of home maintenance. His education and certifications are of high quality and they are very evident in his approach to the job he is doing. I highly recommend him, his advice, and his skills.
