excellent from proposal to finish! timing was key as the work needed to be done in between steps of a remodeling project. the work was done quickly, carefully, efficiently & completely cleaned up after. result: a cozier, quieter home just in time for Christmas. and my attic is beautiful!

He was very patient. He brought copies of his insurance license and awards that he has received. He showed me pictures of his actual work. He was concerned that I get the best work. He was competent, friendly, and well-prepared. I will most likely use his services.

Work was done efficiently and promptly. Gary had looked up the property and knew the year built and basic design before he even discussed the work with me. Our tenants are very pleased and I cannot recommend Stevenson Insulation highly enough.

Gary called on Sunday to confirm appointmet for Mon.called ahead to say on the way, showed up on time, explained the difference in the R-30 and R-38 insulation and decided on the R-38 from his recomendation. I live in a old house and the insulation was pretty much gone. Noticed the difference before they were finished.Work was done very professionaly, no mess was made, cleaned up from their equipment. Insulation looks great, and I expect to have lower electricity bills. I will highly recommend to friends.

Outstanding experience from beginning to end. Their phone bid was competitive, even though the product they use is far superior to many others on the market. They were willing to send someone out to take a look at our home when it started to look like a good estimate was going to require more detail. [They stood by their phone quote, as it happens.] Susan was understanding as we took quite a while to decide whether/when to do the work. When we settled on doing it, we were able to schedule time about a week out. Gary came out on time, managed the work, and identified the problem with the existing insulation covering the soffits (which they fixed for no charge). They put a ton of insulation up there, and cleaned up perfectly afterwards. We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Stevenson!!

This company is definitely one of the good guys! Everyone associated with our work was completely professional, arrived on time & ready to work, and cleaned up when they left. My only regret is that they don't perform any other home improvement services because I would hire them in a second!

Good overall. Phone quote was low and lots of updates to the price once this company arrived. All in all, the experience was good. I just hope I save some money on my AC costs this summer.

The work was done promptly and it looks great. Mr. Stevenson was on the job site during the entire process. They did not leave any mess for me to clean up. They covered my carpet and did not scrape the walls with the blower hose. They took care to not clog up my soffit vents. I am very pleased and would recommend this company anytime.

Professional service. Addressed problem area in back of home that we could not get to warm up by adding extra insulation. Owner stayed on the job to make sure work was completed correctly. Shortly after, we had heating/ac work completed by a company who also does insulation. This competitor actually complimented the Stevenson's insulation work which says a lot.

I did not hire him, but they were excellent and were my second choice. The only reason I did not hire him was because another company had done the work for my neighbor and it was only for that reason I used them. He came out, gave me a very fair estimate and was very honest. He told me that they would love to sell me radiant barrier, but the pay back time for it was 10 or 12 years. It was simply because of the way my house was made, however he said I should add insulation. He gave me a price on both and said if I wanted the radiant barrier, they would certainly do it for me and also, explained the two types of radiant barrier they do. He also explained what the advantages and disadvantages of each were. He arrived on time and was informative and respectful of my home. When he went into the attic, he made sure that he moved the throw rug down so when he pulled the ladder down, it would not damage my floor. I definitely would have hired him, had it not been the other company.

The project went very well. They did what they promised, and cleaned up well after the job.

The lady was thorough, but lacking in personality. I had actually met with her a year before for a similar project. She provided a good quote; just no personality and she didn't have good answers for some of my questions I asked her. She was responsive.

They were excellent. The price was very competitive especially when we added the Angieslist discount. The insulation that they used was the itch-free insulation. They quoted me a price that was almost equal to or lesser than other companies that used lesser quality products. I would use them again in future.

Received quote for blown in R-38 insulation over the phone. When crew arrived and inspected the attic area, they confirmed what we had already suspected - the walls were woefully under insulated as well. The owner, who was on site, quoted an amount to add R-19 to knee walls. The whole process took about three hours. They cleaned the areas well before they left.

Gary was recommended by Burnett Heating & Cooling. I called and he came out the next day to give an estimate. The estimate was reasonable to us and we commissioned the work. They were able to come out the next week. They were actually a couple of minutes early. They protected my wood floors while working and cleaned up all mess.

Gary Stevenson gave me a thorough review of my insulation situation and quoted a price of $3000 to $3500. He preferred not to give a precise estimate due to the many unknowns he might run into in this older house. After comparing to two other competitive estimates, I scheduled the work with Stevenson. He and his two long-time employees arrived on time, did a thoroughly professional job (I observed off and on all day), finished slightly earlier than expected, and did a 100% cleanup. The final price included a couple bags of fiberglass batts at wholesale price for me to do a little "customizing" later. He also gave me what turned out to be excellent recommendations on contractors for some other work I was planning.

Excellent. Arrived on time on a Saturday. Three person crew including owner. Started with tarps on my carpet. Truck set up in front of house. We discussed amount of insulation (r value) and the related price. They speed a long hose into the attic and over two hours filled the attic with the blown insulation. They cleaned up the minimal fluff in the living area and in two hours were gone. I think the stuff is superior to cellulose insulation.

Could not have asked for anything to go better. Arrived on time. Excellent work. Great clean up.

I liked that they were family owned and that the owner would be here when the work was done.

GREAT JOB - DONE ON THE WEEKEND. THE COMPLETE JOB TOOK 2 HOURS. THE COMPANY WAS ABLE TO SCHEDULE THE VISIT QUICKLY - WITHIN 2 DAYS OF THE CALL. THE OWNER IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE WHOLE PROCESS.
