My husband called a plumber he found on the internet. The business was in the same town we live in so my husband called them. The owner and an assistant came out at the scheduled time. My husband described the problem and they explained the work they needed to do to correct the problem. The owner also pointed out two other problems needing correcting and that each problem would cost us $200.00 if using a credit card or $165.00 in cash. We paid cash and we had the one problem fixed. It's been a long time since we last needed a plumber and we know costs have risen but we felt $165.00 for each problem was a little high. Our problem...for the convenience of having a plumber close by, we'll probably keep using this business and have the other problems fixed at a later time.

Found out the part was bought for $59.95 & was sold to me for $250.00. The owner of the company that way overcharged me the part and would not rework the figure to satify me. Unprofessional & Dishonest.

When the sink got clogged we searched for plumbers on Google and ran across Solution Plumbing's website and called them because we wanted a "local guy." We also happened to need a whole-house gas line inspection because we are adopting a baby and they make you jump through hoops to make sure you everything is safe and sound for the little tyke. This isn't an interesting story but, basically, Joey and his helper were both super polite and kept us informed about what they were doing. The gas line inspection required them to go from the attic to the outside repeatedly so it was nice of them to say, "I'll be right back inside" or "he's in the attic and I am right outside if you have a question." The price was the best around, which is pretty fantastic, too.
