I know that those of you who are looking for services by this provider have been recently affected by Harvey. You may have lost possessions, family pets, loved ones, or maybe everything. You have my deepest condolences. I just want you to take a moment and consider your choice in this provider. They had employees who lived in mandatory evacuation areas and had to leave their homes and seek safety elsewhere because of the floods. Even though they were in different areas they still did the work in order to get people to Services they needed answering emails, text messages, phone calls, and everything else that they could possibly do to help. You would think that this company would support their employees, ecspecially during times like these, but that was not the case. Upon returning home to find everything was okay or everything lost, they also found themselves without employment. Kristina, the owner, does not care about the lives or hardships of her employees. So take a minute and consider how will she treat you, your loved ones, or your possessions. Someone who is more about the dollar and not the people will always leave you when they are needed the most.

SERVPRO of Bellaire showed up almost 1.5 hours later than they originally quoted (equipment and workers came from Rosenberg vs. Bellaire according to the workers, despite the fact that they stated the Co was located in Bellaire when I originally called...primarily chosen because of close proximity to home). Project Manager stated that he could remove all the water in 4 hours (including hourly charges for 4 workers). When we questioned why he had only 1 hose/ vacuum and 4 workers for the amount of damaged area, he ordered another hose/ vacuum which we later learned never worked. So one worker vacuumed while the other 3 stood around and watched. The PM collected the check and left shortly after the work started. The workers proceeded to leave after ~3 hours without informing us, leaving a closet full of water where the leak originated and which they were shown upon arrival. Also, the carpet was still saturated. When I asked to speak with the PM, they said he was not available, but would be at our home early the next morning to survey the work performed. When he did not show up the next morning, I contacted SERVPRO and was told that he was not available all day. So I asked to speak with the Co manager/ owner who was not available, but was told that she would return my call within 30 minutes. Neither she nor the PM contacted us that day and did not complete the work! So we contacted Blackmon Mooring who was extremely professional! Removed ~100 gallons of water from the area after SERVPRO left. Subsequently reported SERVPRO to the BBB and the SERVPRO franchise headquarters.
Description of Work: Water removal from basement caused by an a/c leak that was repaired prior to SERVPRO's arrival. Extent of damage was described in detail to the SERVPRO project manager (PM) in initial phone call who assured us that they could remove the water that night. Did not realize that this is a franchise operation.

They were very thorough and very good to work with. They covered all my belongings to lessen the damage as much as possible. They cleaned up daily.
