The two workers sent out to repair my floors, Scot and Mark, did a superb and very professional job. I was very satisfied with their work.

Great... We love our floors! We replaced hardwood and carpet with Karndean from Pet Floors and couldn't be happier! Our two large dog's nails don't scratch the floors like they did with hardwood. The floors look as good as the day they were installed. My husband and the dogs come in with wet feet from the pool and I don't have to worry about the floor being ruined. It is so easy to take care of. Gary and Doc are great to work with and the installers were professional, courteous and meticulous. They were very respectful of our furniture and belongings and cleaned up well after the job was done. I would highly recommend Pet Floors of Houston to everyone!

This is the best thing we've done in a long time. This company and their staff went out of their way working with us to provide our flooring. With two puppies in their training stage we were at wits end with our carpets. With the installation of our flooring, everything was resolved. Easy to care for and it looks like they cost so much more than we paid.

They did a good job. In terms of the price, it was maybe a little bit more than I was expecting. But it was within the market range.

Pet Floors of Houston has got a great product and my floors look terrific.  Their sales staff was responsive and helpful even when I called them out a second time because I thought I might have changed my mind on the accent trim.  Their installers showed up on time every day and worked to get the job done in only two days instead of the anticipated 2 1/2 days.

I first saw Pet Floors products at the opening of a friend's spay/neuter clinic. The samples were gorgeous so I kept their information for several years until I bought a house because I knew I would want them in my house.
Pet Floors service is great! They will bring samples to your house so you can see how they will look on your floors and with your furniture. This is very helpful because I ended up choosing a darker color than I thought I wanted once I saw the samples with my furniture.
I like the vinyl "hardwood" MUCH better than laminate that I have in another room or tile that I have in the rest of the house. The vinyl is not as hard or cold on the feet. It is VERY durable.  I have litterboxes and a puppy pad in the spare bedroom where the vinyl "hardwood" is and it gets MESSY.   I have scrubbed the floor with stiff scrub brushes and bleach cleaning products and it still looks fantastic.
The guys that lay the floors are great too. They floated both rooms to make sure they were perfectly smooth before laying the planks. This makes a perfectly smooth floor.  I didn't like the wood piece that they were going to lay between the bedroom door and the hallway---it was too tall and I figured I would trip over it. So, one of the guys took the piece home that night and filed it down to make it smaller, so it doesn't stick up so high.  I haven't tripped over it yet, so they did a good job with it.
Pet Floors of Houston also stands behind their products and services too, which is something I am not finding with many other contractors and stores these days.  For instance, some of the planks of the flooring that they laid on the enclosed patio started peeling up after about 6 months. I called them and they came out and replaced the flooring on ENTIRE patio (using different glue). It looks great!  I didn't have to argue with them like I have with other contractors & stores.
I am definitely going to hire them to replace more flooring in my house.  I referred a friend, who has big dogs, and she loves her floors too.

Contractor covered walls and cabinets with plastic before demo began.  Tile was removed with a minimal amount of dust.  Installers were courteous and efficient.  We are very happy with the product after living with it for 3 weeks.  The product is a wood plank-look thick vinyl planking.  The floor needed more prep than anticipated resulting in an additional charge of $300, however, we were forewarned that this may be needed ahead of the work.

Pet Floors is wonderful. I had a horrible experience with another flooring company, so I was nervous. Pet Floors went above and beyond my expectations. The installers were punctual. They worked like demons and completed the project in 2.5 days. And the result is that I have beautiful flooring in the back of my house, which includes the bathrooms. The bedroom flooring was placed at an angle, and the installer did it was perfect precision. I love the product and I love the service.

Overall very well.  I love the floors and love Gary Wilcox.  He was fair and prompt and the work was done within the agreed upon times.  The crew could have done a better job of covering furtnature and TV to prevent dust and particles.  This caused them 1/2 day of extra cleaning.  A few nicks in the walls they tried to repair unsuccessfully but Gary compensated with a price reduction and I had my painter come in.  It all worked out fine.  Typcial construction stuff but the way Gary handled it was elegant and fair.

We found out about Pet Floors of Houston at the Home and Garden show that was held in February, 2013.  We called and the owner came out and gave us an estimate.  We were having the carpet removed from the dining area, living room area, front foyer, front coat closet and a hallway that connects the second bath, two bedrooms and washroom.  The estimate was what we expected.  The sample we picked was a hand-scraped material made out of PVC but looks like hardwood flooring.  This product is supposed to be scratch-resistant and water resistant.
The installer came early each day they were there.  They were very professional and actually finished earlier than we had anticipated.  The floor looks great!  We are extremely happy with our new flooring and feel it was well worth the investment.
The owner came out about a month later to inspect the job and take some pictures.  He left us some floor cleaning products and while we were looking at the floors, we noticed a very small piece of flooring was loose.  He said he would have the installer (Kevin) contact us to schedule a time and date to come out and secure that one little piece of flooring.  this piece of flooring was approximately 6" x 3".  Not a very big piece and all it needed was to be glued back down.  Luckily it's in a no traffic area but we wanted to have it taken care of.
About two to three weeks later we received a phone call from Kevin and he was scheduled to come out on May 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. to take care of the flooring.  Close to our appointment time, Kevin called and said he has just finished with his first install and his kids wanted to go and do something so he wanted to re-schedule with us.  We said fine but then thought how rude.  We had made sure we ran our early morning errand and we didn't stop to enjoy breakfast as we normally do because we didn't want to be late for our 10:00 a.m. appointment with Kevin. Then to receive a phone call where he blew us off after his first repair job so he could go do something with his kids.  I'm not saying his kids shouldn't come first but HE was the one who scheduled this appointment in the first place.  We didn't get to enjoy a nice breakfast because we made sure we were home for him to come and take care of our repair job which would have taken him maybe 5 minutes to repair.  Are we to believe that his kids couldn't wait 5 minutes so that our flooring could be repaired.
This is why Pet Floors of Houston has lost a potential repeat customer.  We already had plans to use them for other rooms in our home but after this fiasco, we will be forced to use another flooring company.
Not only this but I had already been talking to friends and neighbors about their product and handing out brochures and business cards.  I will not be handing anything out anymore and what I will have to let my friends and neighbors know is they are good at installing, you just better hope you don't need any repairs done.
I guess business is good if they are not worried about one customer.
My husband called the owner to explain what has happended with Kevin and had to leave a voice message because he didn't answer.  We have not heard from him since.
