LOWE'S

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased for a gift card. It was fine. There were no issues with using it. They are consistent and they are all over.

They had what I needed and it was a good price. I was satisfied with it.

Everything went fine, but I had to call them back on the door for a slight adjustment, and they did it, and it turned out okay. Their customer service was good as well.

The job ended up very nicely, but it started off to be a challenge. There is apparently a shortage of people in the flooring department at Lowe's, so it's nearly impossible to get them on the phone to ask questions, clarify anything, etc. I usually had to call and see if my salesperson was working that day, and then drive over there and wait in line to ask a question. They also told us the floor would be installed in about two weeks, when it really took four. Worst of all, you have to pay 100% up front, which I had never heard of before. Last but not least, we got off to a pretty rocky start with the installers, but we got along OK once we got to know each other better.

Lowe's has a good selection of carpet. I was able to pick out the carpet I wanted without any problems. I think that they really stand behind their quality of product and their installation. The service people were very helpful and honest. I am really impressed with my carpet and the installation process.

We were very pleased with the job. The grout lines were fine and very even, they've stayed clean and they did a good job on the corners and tile cuts. We liked the workers and it took the crew of three men about three days to complete. They also pulled up all the carpeting. We'd change nothing about their work.

The telephone service was extremely poor. I know in-store customers should be served first, but, like Home Depot, Lowe's seems inappropriately staffed. It shouldn't be this difficult to spend $800.

I was happy that the work was finished quickly. All the work went smoothly and I have had no problems with the work since they were installed. The company did a big project for us and the workers finished the work quickly. They were good about picking up after themselves and at the end of the project they did not leave a mess.

DID A VERY MESSY JOB INSTALLING THE TILE IN MY POWDER ROOM. WE USED BLACK GROUT AND THERE ARE BLACK STAINS ON THE WHITE TILES AND ON THE BASEBOARDS.
