After sent question received rude “who’s this”. I replied with last name and said ref # in email below (thinking that’s easier right?). Instead Neal was rude, unprofessional, harassed me about my personal email security and MANY other things. I have entire email chain that proves his spiral out of control that has nothing to do with me. DO NOT HIRE.

The installers were excellent craftsmen. They were also courteous and very hard working. Tony Abrilian made sure that a complicated project was completed without excessive delay. We are grateful to him for making it all come together.

The end product turned out pretty good, but the process to get there was so stressful and unpleasant that I would have paid a lot more to have a provider who was professional and courteous. They made at least 3 appointments which they then either completely did not show up for or showed up hours late and were surly because I had called to find out what happened to them. They did a poor job installing engineered hardwood in a very ordinary rectangular room. They were supposed to put in one type of trim to match the existing trim and they failed to do that. They also put 7 very short pieces together in the center of the room so that it looked very haphazard. When I asked them to replace the shorts and to put in the trim which was written in black and white in the contract they drug their feet and did not contact me for almost two weeks. They finally did put it in, but it was a very confrontational, unpleasant experience. They have many amazing photos on their website of jobs that they have done. And as I said, if you don't mind it taking 5 weeks to get a job done and having to confront them constantly, the work turns out pretty good in the end. However, if you want someone who will do the job well and consider your time and money without having to argue, look elsewhere. Their website states that they are always punctual or contact you to let you know they were delayed. NOT TRUE. Their website states that their owner is on site daily. NOT TRUE.

They were recommended to me and they were very good. I had problems with them responding to my phone calls because they were kind of delayed. They are busy but they eventually show up and their pricing is very good. I recommended them to one of my neighbors and she had a terrible experience and time with them. The guys who came out from the company named Neil and Tony were very professional.

They responded very quickly and they did the job very well. I chose them out of three other estimates I had received.

An A+ rating is by far all that this company deserves.

Overall, the installation went ok but after 6 months, I am not very happy with the quality of the installation. - The staining of the quarter molding was not a good match for the floor, the staining color was not consistent; even the wood used for it was not the same for the whole house - The transitional molding has uneven gaps between the laminate floor and the tiled floor - While it was a floating floor install, the planks are "slipping" and developing gaps in a few places. We can feel the plank move when we walk on them in some places. - For the floors, I was asked to order a certain yardage of carpet and it turned out that we needed only half as much as I purchased; that was a waste of material and money. - Most of the work was done by a sub-contractor not a crew who worked for the company; I didnt find out about this until the "foreman" happened to mention this on the last day of the work. I would have been happier if there was any follow-up on the work; several of these issues could have been addressed in that way. BTW, this company also operates as "Performance Hardwood Floors".

I am really disappointed in how my experience with this company turned out. On first impression and even second impression Neal seemed to be great. He comes across as a really professional contractor and we were initially very happy with the work. The crew showed up on time each morning and worked a full day. They removed the existing wood floors, leveled, moisture-sealed the concrete and installed the new floors throughout the first floor of our home in about three days. Then it seemed as if he and his people quit caring about the quality of their work. Quarter round was installed that was gouged and damaged in several places. Throughout it was misaligned and clearly not cut and installed properly. The mistakes could be seen from across the house, VERY obvious. One very weak attempt was made at correcting one or two problem areas, which still looked terrible. When we complained to Neal, he sent one of his men over who had a really snotty attitude with my husband until he showed the guy a few of the areas. The quarter round is still damaged, gouged, and misaligned because they never came back to fix it. The painters were ok except for the fact that they found and borrowed my paint brush for some unknown reason. They didn't ask, they just did it. And then they washed out the brushes in my kitchen sink and LEFT PAINT ALL IN THE SINK. I had a few dishes in the sink from breakfast and there was paint all over the dishes. I had to scrub paint off of my children's food dishes. Unbelievable. The bottom step was another disaster. They installed it and cracked it. It is also very clearly off-center and crooked. They fabricated their own bullnose trim for the step and stained it to match the wood. They secured the step with painters tape which left a stripe on the step when the tape was pulled up. Neal came over and looked at it. Then he took more of our flooring to make another step. At this point, a project that was ahead of schedule by a couple of days has now turned into a project that has taken more than a month and it's still incomplete to date. We were in contact with Neal up to the point he took our wood for the second bottom step. After numerous promises to finish the work and make it right he stopped returning our calls. We called and called and finally went over to his business location on the beltway only to find that he had packed up shop and left. I don't know what his problem is, but it's pretty clear that there is a problem. We will be correcting all of their mistakes including installing a new bottom step ourselves. I have no hope for the promised warranty should anything crop up in the future with the floors. I absolutely cannot recommend anyone do business with him.

Neal came out and was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. He seemed very knowledgeable about the wood and unusual width boards in our 60 year old home. He explained our options and prices in very clear terms and the pros and cons of each. There was never any bias or pressure to go with the costliest option, but rather seemed intent on helping us with what would work best for us. Neal even told us a simple solution to keep the boards from getting worse before we have a chance to replace them. We have decided to hold off for the time being because we have 11month old twins and vacating the premises for 4-6 days to have the floors refinished is not feasible. Thanks to Neal's simple solution, we feel comfortable waiting. However, when we do have this job or similar work done, this is the company we will call. They were far and away the best and most helpful of three companies that came out for estimates (All 3 well-rated on Angie's List)

The experience was very good. The floors are beautiful with all details attended to. They even noticed and refinished a bathroom hamper that we forgot to tell them about. They were very respectful of the freshly done paint job through the house and were much neater than other refinishing companies we have used in the past. I am an extremely picky customer and every nitpicky request I had was attended to promptly. We will definitely use them again.

I needed the work done very quickly because I had a tenant moving in within the week. The work needed to be done within a couple of days to allow the finish to dry and harden before move-in. The job involved refinishing original hardwood floors in a 1930's duplex in the Montrose area. Neal met me there later that day, and we talked about the job. He is obviously very knowledgeable about wood floors in general and about the way these older houses were built in the area. He made measurements and gave me a quote right then. I agreed to the quote, and we made arrangements to meet the next morning to give him access to the unit. Luckily he had a crew that was just finishing a job and was able to fit it in before starting another big job later in the week. He was punctual the next day, I paid him in full, and left. His crew arrived later that morning to start work. I checked that afternoon, and the screening and first coat were done. The second coat was applied the next day, and it ended up looking fantastic! Neal stopped by himself to inspect the work and was very professional in every way. Overall, it could not have gone better.

They were very prompt. The only thing that I had a little bit of problem with was that their employees did not speak English very well. I managed to get the message across.
