Infinite Construction

Charles came out for consultation twice and answered a lot of questions I had since I have no experience with these type of projects. Although I never received a and quot;complete outdoor designand quot; per the Big Deal I purchased, I didn't have a real solid idea of what I wanted at the time (in fairness to Charles). Charles did provide images and opportunities to see his company's work first hand, and they all did appear to be great construction jobs. However, I cannot afford to have the work done after sorting out some confusion on the estimate pricing. I will look for alternatives, but if you have the money for high quality work then I would consider Charles and his Infinite Construction team. Note: After being contacted by Charles, owner of Infinite Construction, I have modified this review due to some clarifications on the cost and type of materials Charles uses in his jobs versus his competitors, and how linear foot measurements are charged within his industry, which was admittedly confusing to me.

We never received the plans and have not heard from them since the yard evaluation. We are looking for another option at this time. This is the first time this has happened since we have been using Angie's list; i.e. where a provider did not deliver on promise or update us as to the delay. We have a serious interest in updating outside space; we did not seek a evaluation from any other company. We will search Angie's list for another option. We would sincerely like to know what happened. So far this year, we have spent $17,000 in remodel projects with Angie's list vendors, Perhaps Infinite did not take us seriously -- our backyard is a mess as a result of home projects that went awry. Too bad from them.

We hired Infinite to completely redo our deck, build a roof to cover half, build a new outdoor kitchen, install a TV and a new exterior door, among other things. Charles and his crew were nothing but professional, punctual, and detail oriented from day one. Charles was the only contractor we got a bid from that was willing to meet with us at a time that was convenient for us, which set him apart from the start. He worked up a bid for us quickly and was very competitive with the other bids we received. Once we decided to go with Infinite, they started quickly and showed up every morning by 7:30 and worked the entire day, often until I got home from the office. We have a rooftop deck and Charles and his guys hauled every board, shingle, stone, etc. up to the 4th floor day after day without an issue. We were very happy with the quality of the work they performed and Charles did everything he possibly could to make sure we were happy with the outcome of the end product. As an example, I think he must have done at least 15 different stain samples to make sure the color of our ceiling was exactly what we wanted... we're very picky. Any issues that came up during the project, which were very minor, were taken care of quickly. Charles even came back and did a few things we missed on the punch list after we gave him the final check, which is rare in my experience with contractors. In short, we were very happy with Infinite Construction and the work performed and would not hesitate to hire them again. In fact, we recently bought a second home in Austin and tried to convince Charles to do our remodel for us! Unfortunately he was unable but we would've given the job to them in a heartbeat.

They were punctual, quick to respond, and provided a very fair price in their bid. I chose another vendor due solely to recommendation by our realtor, but would have had no problem using Infinite.

I did not use them, because I thought the price was a bit too high, for what I wanted to do. There was a bit of confusion in scheduling the time, and we worked out. We had a little mishap but I won't hold that against them. They were okay, bottom line, the dollars were a bit high.

They did a great job. They were very professional. They were extremely knowledgeable. I really wanted to make my backyard better so I could spend more time out their, and they really gave me some fantastic ideas.

We used the services of Infinite Construction. We worked with Charles. I think Charles came out to our house maybe in October to do some final touch ups and answer a few of our questions that we had. The major work that he did was in June of last year. We had recently referred him to someone else. Initially it was to do a small construction project on our patio but after he came and consulted with us we decided to make it a much larger project and he actually demolished our existing patio, put some slabs on. He put in a full outdoor kitchen and a fire pit. He covered a pergola. We had an open pergola that was covered. I would say that he is extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and very responsive. We've had no issues. We have had other construction done at the house previously by other contractors and have had issues with people not showing up on time, the construction not meeting our standards. But with Charles I would say that he exceeded our expectations. He was just always available, always kept in touch with us and even after the project was done he came over a couple of times and we had what we thought a couple of problems that ended up not even being problems. He came over right away and checked up on the work and made sure he answered any of our questions. Overall it was a great experience. I would say his pricing was slightly higher than some of the other quotes but for the quality of work he does it was well worth it.

Charles communicated with me via email to set up a good time. He was at my house for almost 2 hours brainstorming ideas. He got me some designs about a week later. They aren't 3D (in case you were expecting them to be). He did a good job and I'll work with him to finalize the design.

We were looking to have an outdoor kitchen installed on our outdoor 4th floor terrace. We invited somebody from Infinite Construction out to our place to view the area and start sharing some ideas. On a rainy Sunday, on time and as planned Charles arrived ready to stand in the rain take some measurements, share some ideas, and really start to build some excitement around our project. He came prepared with: - Sample stone and granite - Recommendations for appliance manufacturers - Recommendations for appliance providers - A list of showrooms that we could look at for granite, rock, appliances, hardware ideas - Pictures of past projects Charles was the first contractor that we had invited out to our place to start providing ideas and estimates. We liked him and felt comfortable with him immediately, and decided to have him, his team and Infinite Construction perform the work. The full scope of the project was to install an outdoor kitchen that included a 42” grill, side burner, sink, beverage center (ice bin and small sink), ice maker, refrigerator, and beverage cooler as well as all of the drawers and cabinet’s, all of the plumbing, electrical and gas work. The project was to take 2 weeks, one of which we were on vacation, it ran maybe a few days over the estimated time, bit the end result was well worth it. Our friends are blown away by what Charles and team did. A few months after the install was completed we decided we needed another electrical outlet, and at no charge Charles had his electrician out to perform the work. Everybody was polite, courteous, and professional. There was plastic that ran all the way up our stairs to ensure dust and dirt didn’t get spread, and the kitchen when completed needed little more than a wipe down. We would recommend Infinite Construction, and would in a heartbeat have them back for any other projects we may have.

We had been looking into getting an outdoor kitchen for awhile and consulted with several companies but nobody could envision what we were looking for. A few months later a neighbor of ours had an outdoor kitchen installed and recommended Infinite Construction. We called them up and Charles came out and made a design for us that was exactly what we were looking for. Throughout the process everything went smooth the workers were clean and Charles was available to answer any questions we had. We love our new outdoor space and would definitely use Infinite Construction again.

I emailed Charle's requesting a quick estimate on a small stamped porch with an existing porch overlay. The response took three days - after I followed-up on the third day. Not a big deal as he called me immediately after the second email and apologized for the delay. I could tell he was on a work site so didn't mind the delay and he had the estimate out to me later that afternoon. I did not choose Infinite Construction because the prices to me wear about 20-30% higher than other quotes I had received. I'm not saying its not worth it, as the pictures show he does great work along with the good reviews. However, I felt the prices were for The Woodlands or Fort Bend crowd and I live in Spring...ha ha. Anyway's if I had all kinds of disposable income laying around, I mostly likely would have pursued consultation and awarded the project to them. Note: Although I asked for a quick estimates from multiple contractors - Infinite Construction was the only company that did not provide a estimate on standard quote documents and I found the email he did send with prices confusing enough where I had to compare it to the other quotes I received to understand some of the costs. Some of it I still don't understand.

I called and told him I wanted to get him scheduled. I finally got an appointment for 1/27 and he was a no show. He also told me he wasn't going to provide the plans as promised as it was too expensive but rather a drawing. I decided to get a refund.

I never received the estimate for the project discussed and there was no follow up or explanation as to why.

Cost of original project was very high. Contacted AL, and they contacted Infinite Construction who in turn contacted me. Project was rebid with alternate materials. Cost of project was still way too high for what we were expecting. Requested refund from AL.

The service was fine. He was prompt, he came out and talked to us and said it would take him about a week. After a week later he delivered the drawing to us. It was a good deal.

It went well. They arrived on time and they listened to what I wanted to do. We talked about options and they gave us a quote. They were straightforward.

From my first call, Charles was responsive and open to ideas about what materials to use and how to lay out the project. He helped me pick what I think are very good choices to meet my goals for the project. He got started pretty promptly and finished on a schedule that was satisfactory to me. His crew did a good job of covering my pool to keep debris out. Throughout the work, I never got the idea that they were trying to cut corners to save time or money. His carpenter, Jose, appeared to have good skills and took pride in the work. Charles was always pleasant and easy to deal with, even though I had a lot of details I was worried about. On price, they were high bidder on this project, but I hired them anyway because I had more confidence in their ability to deliver a good project. Also, it wasn't a true apples to apples bid comparison because each of the 3 contractors I talked to was going to use different decking and railing brands and types. I think I got good value for my project, but, if you're looking for the cheapest option, you may find it elsewhere. If you're looking for a good result and a good working experience at a fair price, I can heartily recommend Charles and his guys.

We chose to work with Charles due to his professionalism (he usually showed up early to appointments, responded promptly to text messages, calls, or emails) and portfolio (we liked his quality of work). The work commenced in September and completed in November. We communicated well through the process and he addressed any and quot;punch listand quot; items I brought up and threw in many unexpected extras that I did not expect but definitely appreciated. For example, he built a larger back patio area and pergola then originally measured and he didn't adjust the square footage on the contract and didn't charge me extra. He also was flexible in the scope of work and would not nickel and dime me for any changes. I would say the only downside is that the work took longer than I would have expected but there was some inclement weather and quality work just takes more time I guess. I would recommend Infinite to my friends and family.

They took out an old, ratty patio and replace it with a new, covered one. Quality was excellent (the ceiling was not the best quality, so it was replaced). The roof blended into my existing one such that no seams could be detected. The pavers used for the floor resulted in excellent overall strength and appearance. They took a week longer than planned, but the weather was a factor. The installation is according to code, that is resistant to a major hurricane. Once I figure out what I'm doing next, I'll have them back.

He did everything he said he was going to do. He provided a drawing that could have done the job.

The owner stopped by our home to discuss our design needs and wants. Afterward, Charles took what we discussed and put it on a professional drawing, with all the measurements defined. The drawing plan was very professionally done and well thought out, which my engineer husband really appreciated. We got several vendor quotes, but decided go with Infinite Construction due to the quality of their work and product usage. After we agreed on the price, his crew and him came out and started the build-out. They were very professional and organized. They cleaned-up daily before they left the premise. The owner is very accommodating, honest, and easy to deal with. We really enjoyed working with Charles and his crew. Charles is a really nice and respectful person. He always display customer satisfaction traits when conversing with us.

Infinite construction did a fantastic job. Charles Teer and company were very easy to work with. I never expected a job of this size to go together so well and in such little time. What a great contractor to deal with. Top quality as well.

I purchased the deal to get advice, possible planning and installation, and general information. It was a VERY good experience. I do not plan to move ahead with any project at this time as the cost would be a little high even though I feel the quality would be great.
