HANDYMAN 4 HIRE

I called this company, stating that I needed a hot water heater. I explained that I am a single mother of three, that I had just finished school, and I was working in an internship; therefore, I needed a very fair price. He quoted me $400 more than both Lowe's and Home Depot...delivered and installed! I confronted him about it and he said that was impossible. He later called me with a quote for $200 less than his original quote. I declined.

Mr. Adair sent out a man named "Johnny" who apparently did not know how to hang a pre-hung exterior door. He ruined the threshold, took the door out the pre-hung frame, and then realized he couldn't make it work. He asked me for $60 in cash (which I stupidly gave him) and promised to return to do the work. He never showed up. Also, I had to order a new threshold and hire someone else to do the job. Terry Adair, owner, never refunded my money despite multiple requests that he do so. So, not only was this organization incompetent, they were also took my money and never completed the job. It took me many more trips to Lowe's and a wait of nearly two weeks to get a replacement threshold and get another work man out to do the job right. This also required taking time off work.
