Description of Work: He was all talk and lies. He was the most unethical person I have ever encountered. He takes money and workers show up and then he doesn't pay them so we had to pay them. He does zero work and demands money for nothing. He scammed us and the tradesman. He left the house in chaos and then abandoned the job after stealing money. We have had to mitigate damages and pay ppl to fix and finish all the problems he caused. It was a truly awful experience. He tried to take advantage of a 9mnth pregnant person and I am shocked someone could be so awful...

+ -1 moreOverall Job went poorly and was not completed as per contract. Job was essentially paid in full and only partially completed. Contractor will not return phone calls. Contractor did a good job on sheetrock repair, wall painting, and door replacement. Contractor did a very poor job on trim painting, floor refinishing 1. Floors had to be resanded and refinished using homeowners contractor. GBCC contractor did not know how to refinish these types of floors.Homeowner paid for this service out of pocket, even though it was included in original bid. 2. GBCC did not perform any stucco repair to exterior of home as per contract. 3. GBCC did not repair exterior doors as per contract. 4. GBCC did not repair kitchen cabinets as per contract. 5. GBCC Painted latex paint over oil based paint. This will have to be removed and repainted. 6. GBCC did not haul off construction waste. 7. GBCC claimed they could not refinish marble countertops in bathroom as per contract. 8. GBCC would not refund customer for work that was not performed or had to be redone.
Description of Work: Contracted Ground Breaking Custom Construction (GBCC) to repair home in preparation for sale. Contractor performed the following services: 1. Painted walls and repaired sheetrock inside home 2. Resanded hard wood floors and restain/refinish floors 3. Repaired sheetrock in garage and repainted walls 4. Repaired driveway pavers. 5. Replaced french doors. 6. Resanded and restained front door. 7. Replaced 5 damaged slate tiles 8. Replaced damaged molding around windows.
