They did a great job?timely and efficient. Was one of the few "smooth" experiences we had with contractors during our renovation. It was much appreciated to not have to worry about whether they would show up on time or how long it would take them to finish the job. Work was great as well.

From the onset, Tom was very responsive and knowledgeable. He was punctual to the appointment and with getting us his quote. We had a very narrow window of time in which to do the work as we were having painting done as well prior to moving in to our new home. Tom and our painters worked together to determine the best timing for each part of the work to be done (e.g. sand, stain, and apply first coat of poly - painters then paint walls - and Tom and crew returned to resand and finish off the remaining coats of poly). He finished in the time frame we provided (always a plus). We had the floors in the study, dining room, family room, living room, master bedroom, and banisters all stained to match (they didn't before) and the result is absolutely beautiful. I would not hesitate using Tom and Floor Floor We Restore again!!

We recently bought a house that had some past foundation repair where they cut through the original hardwood floors but never repaired the damage, they just covered them with carpet. We contacted Tom and he was able to come out and give us an estimate and worked with us on scheduling since we had to wait to do some other repairs before the floors could be done. Turns out there were a lot more spots than we originally thought (the previous owners did not disclose this information) but Tom worked with us and did a really great job at repairing them. The original floors were also sanded and stained so everything matches and you can't even tell the difference in the repairs and the originial. There was one spot that we thought looked different so we called him and he sent someone out quickly to fix it... everyone comments on how amazing our floors look now! Just a warning to anyone refinishing their floors... there is A LOT of dust! Makes sense but I didn't really think of how much dust we would be cleaning up!

We just finished a total interior remodel of our 1400 sq ft home built in 1953. The original hardwood floors were in sad shape so we priced a tear out and install new product. This plan was way too costly, so we decided to refinish the original floors since we were completely moving out of the house for the remodel, anyway.. We sought two bids. One guy took his time about coming over, and then came back with a very high bid price. Tom was highly recommended by our remodel people so we called him for a comparison bid. He arrived on time and gave us a firm and fair bid to refinish the floors and replace the shoe molding. He also agreed to do some minor repairs and to add a few planks so that the floor would match up with our kitchen floor. The job was finished on time and at the same price we were quoted. No unexpected up charges. Tom stood by the handshake agreement and did a superb job. Note: Tom is not a big talker so don't expect a bunch of conversation. He just takes his measurements, figures a price on the spot, and doesn't pressure you on a decision.

You probably need to not be home at all when they work. I stayed, but it's messy and you can't walk on the floor. They work into the evening as well. Overall it went very well.

Floor Floor We Restore came out rapidly and they were great and I probably will wind up using them. I sent them an email and they called me back like within a day and they came out within a day. I just have a quote and given what I've had from some of the contractors that I've gotten quotes from and what they were going to charge I think I'll end up going with them. I'm going to do foundation leveling and then painting and then the floors are the last thing. They're the last thing to get done, so it'll be a while. They quoted me, including more than what the others were going to do, like $2,500. The other people were like $4,500.

Tom gave a bid, ordered flooring from a distributor in Georgia and began the tile removal. When the flooring arrived he brought it to my newly purchased home. When I viewed the flooring, it did not look at all like the sample. Tom began negotiating with the distributor and helped me to retrieve most of my money. ( the re-stocking fee the distributor charged was where I lost money). I later purchased flooring from a local company and Tom picked it up from the warehouse in central houston and delivered it to me in Conroe. It was a lot of flooring and he did not in any way have to do that for me. He was already committed to another job and had to pass on installing the new wood.

He repaired any damage to the floor where needed and refinished the floor. He was able to complete the job in a short period of time as we were closing soon. The new buyers and I were both happy with the results. It looked like a brand new floor.

They gave us a good price. Since we were doing a large area, they agreed to do it in two phases so we had some place to put the furniture. When they sanded the floors they sealed off the area and very little dust got into the rest of the house. The floors looked great when they finished.

Floor Floor We Restore met me as scheduled to give me an estimate. Of the three contractors I contacted, their cost was the lowest. The contractor performed the work on schedule. I am happy with the quality of the work and would use this contractor again.

Moved into a 1950s house with original wood floors. The floors were never refinished before and the previous owner didn't take care of them at all. Tom came out and gave us a very competitive quote. We had 3 bedrooms, a living room, a den, and a long hallway done. Including small closets in each room and the hallway. Very good quality work. Very fast, we were on a tight time schedule, because we had to move the furniture in on a certain day. Tom finished his work a day earlier! Very happy with the results. Thinking of hiring him again to refinish my kitchen tiles.

They had very reasonable pricing and were prompt and on time. The workers were very nice and courteous. They also helped move items and furniture back when they were done. They really did a very good job.

Everyone arrived on time and the job went very smoothly. I was called if they would be running a little late, which is very appreciated. We are very pleased with the work and would recommend Tom and his crew.

Tom and his crew(s) came to our house as scheduled, helped to move furniture, clean floors and prep for refinishing. The crews were on-time, never appeared to "waste any time" to get the job finished during the prescribed schedule. Tom completely replaced the "quarter-round" trim on the floors and it looks better than before. The crew also trimmed out the hearth for the fireplace and it is very well done and matched the floors perfectly. Tom and his crews finished on the second day and cleaned up and left the house like they found it. Surprisingly there were a couple of blemishes in the floor which Tom agreed to fix later at a time convenient to my wife and me. They returned as scheduled to fix the blems and the floor looks BEAUTIFUL. We got a great value and will use Floor Floor We Restore when we do the other floors in our home.

We contacted the company about 2 weeks prior to installation. They were able to quote us the same week, and the quote was very good compared to other companies we'd priced. Once our floor as ordered and in our home, we contacted the company to come out and begin work. They were able to start the job the same week, and were finished in two days. Very professional, very clean, and excellent to work with.

Company was easy to get a hold of and set up a time for an estimate. The estimate was reasonable and we were able to schedule a time for refurbishing within the next week. Service was done on time and looked great!

Tom responded to our online request for an estimate within a day or two of our request. That same week, he was able to get a crew in to do the job. (See above.) They were all so polite and efficient and our floors look PERFECT! We would highly recommend Floor Floor We Restore!!

Experience was very good from the estimate to the finish of the job. Tom stopped by promptly & was courteous & professional. His estimate was the most reasonable & he followed through on his promises. The floors look great!

I called Floor Floor We Restore for a bid to clean and wax our downstairs hardwood floor. When the owner, Tom, came out to give a bid, he gave us a few options and recommended staining the faded areas of our flooring. He knew what our objectives were and didn't try to sell us anything other than what we initially wanted. We felt he was professional and that the price was right so we made an appointment to have the job done. On Thursday, Tom was on time and brought an assistant. He gave me an estimated completion time and proceeded to carefully move furniture and rugs. I left the house, returned at the appointed time and the job was finished. The floors were superb and all the furniture and rugs put back as before. Tom showed how the floor was exposed to sunlight from windows made recommendations for a rug to be placed in that particular spot and another rug in front of the refrigerator to protect the floor from water. He also told me that he noticed a container of floor cleaner which was actually counter productive to keeping the floor cleaned and for the finish to last. He also suggested a reasonable maintenance plan. I was totally satisfied with the service from Floor Floor and felt Tom went beyond the job he was hired to do by giving me suggestions for preserving my flooring.

I was impressed by the quickness that owner responded to my Angie's list request. They answered all my questions thoroughly and the work was done quickly and efficiently. I would use him again.

We had a plumbing leak which caused our wood floors to buckle. Tom returned my initial call within less than an hour. He came to see the floors on a Saturday so that my husband could be here to speak with him. He basically accomodated our every request. He was a complete professional. He was on time, answered all questions and phone calls promptly. The job was thorough and from start to finish was done in less than three days. He masked off all open areas of our home before sanding. I can not think of anything that did not go perfectly!

We were told what to expect. They took every precaution to minimize the dust from spreading to areas without flooring.

I am SO pleased with Floor Floor We Restore. Good, clear communication. Flexible - as is the case with all large remodels, we had to fit the installation of the wood floors into a schedule that worked with the other subs, and there were plenty of schedule changes. No problem. Tom Highberger is fantastic to deal with. Pleasant, punctual, able to work and coordinate with and around the other subs working at my house, and above all, a real pro at installing wood floors. My floors are SO beautiful. I have done a number of large remodels in the past, but I have never been happier with my wood floors. I could not recommend anyone more highly than Tom with Floor Floor We Restore - a pleasant experience with a outstanding result!!! If you are thinking about installing wood floors, I really don't believe you can find another company that would do a better job than Floor Floor We Restore.
