Sam and George were very helpful explaining the process before starting the job and showed me pictures of the clean ducts after the cleaning.

Our vent exits through the roof so we have a problem with lint build-up. Extreme Services cleaned the vent from the top down and tidied up all areas affected when they finished. I am very satisfied with the results.

They did a good job, but missed a couple of vents.

Service provider Sammy was very professional. Dryer is in an internal part of the house and the vent runs up the wall and through the attic to vent through the roof. Dryer vent was completely clogged and had not been cleaned in many years and dryer was taking several hours to dry a normal load of laundry. The dryer vent duct and cap were cleaned with a duct brush and then blown out. Everything was re-hooked. Lots and lots of lint was removed during the process and it took about an hour and a half. The dryer is now working great and I' m so glad to have the vent working properly (and much more safely since all that lint could have been a fire safety issue).

Went very well. The coupon from Angie's list did not say plus tax. The ax part should be highlighted by Angies list.

This is a dishonest company. The only thing good is a smooth talker who operates the phone and responses to reviews. The work done for the $199 package is very skimpy, nowhere as thorough as the work done for the same $199 package that I bought from another company for another house that I own. They informed me that mold was present in my duct and sold me an extra mold cleaning package for $650. Five weeks after the cleaning mold appeared from the vents. The air was tested and showed 10 times the acceptable level for mold. I sent the air report to them and asked for a refund because their cleaning did nothing and the company kept silent. After the incident I did some research and apparently it is known in the industry that fiberglass ducts cannot be cleaned from mold. They knew beforehand that mold is going to come back yet they still sold me the mold cleaning package. Avoid this company, otherwise you'd throw your money away just like I did.

Initially it should cost $69, however I need to have additional work done. Previous company, I hired from a 'duct cleaning' probably instead of helping, contributed to the problem. Work was done effectively. People were very professional and easy to communicate. They clean the vent, drilled the solid plug in the dryer vent and my dryer is performing a lot better. I'm very satisfied from this service and would recommend this company to everyone!

The service tech arrived, looked at the dryer and asked me how recently the vent tube was cleaned. He said that the $69 which I paid to Angies List would only cover "vacuuming" the vent tube interior and would not include any brushing of the interior walls. He then said that brushing the inside of the vent tube would cost me an additional $250. I declined. About 5 minutes later he made the offer again and lowered the price to $150. I declined again. He then removed the dryer from the wall and proceeded to vacuum the dryer vent with a flexible hose for about 5 minutes. He then re-attached the dryer to the vent connection and left. After he left I went to Home Depot and bought a dryer vent 15 ft. brush cleaning kit for $20...should have done that in the first place. I will re-do the cleaning myself.

It went great. I've never used this service before, and was skeptical going in. These guys were so nice, had nice professional equipment and attire, and did almost all the work in the attic. They kept my house clean. They made suggestions on improvements to the ductwork with no pressure at all (I elected not to do it). Price was fair. I will definitely use them again.

When the provider came out he started by asking me questions about my system. When I said I hadn't had the ducts cleaned before, the tech decided without looking at the ducts that the blowout wouldn't solve my problem and that I would need a complete cleaning. The deal stated that this is for a complete cleaning. Because the provider said it wouldn't help, I had him just do the dryer vent cleaning included with the deal. My air ducts have still not been serviced. I would like them to do the complete cleaning mentioned in the deal I purchased. They asked me to pay taxes on the deal I had already purchased.

Techs arrived within the window time frame. First tech came to the door never looked at me nor gave me his name. He walked straight into the house. He never covered his shoes on my brand new carpet. His name was Sam he was very arrogant and rude. They left a mess inside and outside. I had dryer lint scattered all over the side of my house. After they left it rained so that was not fun trying to clean up. I thought he was by himself so while he was in the laundry room disconnecting the hose, I was startled by another Tech who just walked right into my house never once saying hi nor introducing himself. They left dryer lint all over my floor and carpet. Sam was trying to hook me up with free streaming for an apple TV that I did not have. Not sure how that was part of the dryer vent cleaning. After he was done he told me that I needed a new dryer hose but didn't have anymore with him to replace mine. On his way out the door I mentioned to him one more time that I had to get a new hose that attached from the dryer to the wall. He then turned around and said "oh you won't change it because you will see that the dryer is working great and be like oh well F*** it I don't need to change it." Yes that is what he said. I had a guest at my house who sat there and listened to him. When I asked him his name he told me Sam but that really wasn't his name. I asked when I could get someone out to put on a new hose? He then tells me to call the office and tell them that I will PAY for a hose and then ask to send Sam out and he would do it for free. He gave me his personal cell number and told me to call him next week and keep bugging him and if he's in the area he will stop by. What kind of business is this who does that? I felt really uneasy about the whole thing. Also when I set up the appointment they told me they took all forms of payment except Amex. When I asked Sam he said yes they took it as long as I didn't cancel the services on my card??? After he swiped my card he asked if he could keep my card and go shopping at Victoria Secret with it to buy something really expensive for his girlfriend. Then he said "I don't need yours I have my own then pulls his out of his wallet to show me." I feel really uneasy about ever giving my credit card to these people. I chose this company for two reasons one they had good reviews and two they had a special for the dryer vent cleaning. I will never use these people again!!!

The service from Extreme Air Duct Cleaning and Restoration Services went well, it went just well. They came for the job. They started and tried to clean it but couldn't so we decided to put the whole thing. We ordered the equipment to put it in and the next day they came in a put it in. They were a little behind on the clock but they were having problems at the supply house to get some parts. I will use them again in the future if I needed to move the pipes out but I don't think I will need it soon.

They came at the agreed upon time and did the work effectually and cleanly and also cleaned my dryer went for free.

There were suggestions/recommendations as to some other services that would be helpful, but absolutely no hard sell. Overall, a great experience!

Unbelievable professional behavior ! Called up 30 minutes before arrival. Sunny and Anastacio were on time. They were to the point. They looked at the vent pipe and explained in detail what the issues are and gave their recommendations very patiently. Thier pricing was very good too. They took pictures of the vent pipe that was clogged with lint so that I could send that to the landlord. They took their time and made sure the job was thorough. Overall, excellent service ! Would call Extreme Cleaning & Restoratin Services anytime without hesitation !

There was going to be a charge to give me an estimate for the installation, if I didn't accept his estimate. I told him not to come out.

Afterwards, I smelled a musty odor. I called them and they sent someone right away and they came to fix the odor.

The guy was so nice and did a great job. They gave me a quote to get the air ducts replaced in the future, too.

The company contacted me right away to schedule an appointment during one of my preferred times that I provided. I requested a 45 mins call before arrival and Sam did just that. Sam was friendly, funny, and very helpful. He went over exactly how and what they will be cleaning. Sam provided comments on conditions of the systems and air ducts. It turned out that the dryer vent, which runs through the attic to the roof, was pretty much completely clogged. Sam recommended a full service cleaning of the dryer vent for an additional fee. He was not pushy about it and explained in detail what the additional service entailed. I'm glad I got it done as the dryer vent really needed it. Sam and his co-worker were thorough in completing the work and did not rush through the job. I usually don't write reviews for job done fine. However, this was a job exceptionally done. I will be using these guys again, for sure.
