When he opened the plug he found some wiring that was not the way it should be. He fixed the wires on the inside and put in a new plug. I had purchased an Angie's deal of $125 for an hour. It worked out nicely because the trip charge and mandatory charge for one hour for a licensed electrician it often more than that.

Excellent. Carlos was on time and professional. The thermostats were a little smaller than the original ones and Carlos did very well covering the hole from the previous model. The ceiling fans work great. He was very careful. The price for the fan installation from another Angies List provider was matched by this company. They went over and above for me. DIVIN ELECTRICAL will definitely have all our electrical business. Very Satisfied.

He arrived a little late, but the work was done well and quickly. Since I had an hour of his time he asked me to think hard to come up with other things for him to work on - I just couldn't think of anything!!

They were fine. They were good. There were additional charges beyond the big deal amount but it was only because I asked them to install something else. The total cost of the service wasn't much more. It was may be $150. They were very good. They were right on time. There was one man. He was professional and got the work done in a timely manner.

They brought the right team in and they finished up well and went over everything. I wasn't there but my wife was there. They were really prompt.

I signed up for the 'deal' on Thanksgiving day. I was anxious to get this done; so I called Divin on the day after. The lady that answered the phone knew right away who I am (because of the 'deal'). I was impressed with how Angie's list sets up the 'deals. I was disappointed to hear that Divin can't send someone to fix my problem on Friday because all the technicians are off on the day after Thanksgiving. But it was ok since I myself got that day off from my work. I was told that someone will be at my house between 8-8:30 am on Monday. As promissed, Gary showed up on time. Gary fixed the dryer outlet within 20 minutes. He opened the breaker-pannel to see what kind of 220v wiring I have. I was happy to find out that I have the wiring that meets the latest code. Gary then proceeded to install the outlet. I thought he may have to replace the gang box because the wall plate for the new outlet doesn't match the box. To my surprise, Gary managed to realign the outlet to make the face-plate I bought to match the opening. I was happy. We then hooked up the dryer and tested it. It worked. After the outlet work is done, Gary looked at the problem with the two-way switch. It worked in the past but stopped working recently. He opened both switches and found that one of the switch was not installed correctly which made the wiring come lose. He fixed it and it works now. So, this has been a great experience with the services provided by Gary on behalf of Divin. They are in my contact list now and sure to contact them if I need any more Electrical help. Lastly I have to mention the following to show how honest Gary/Divin are. This is a 'deal' for one hour worth of work. They could have easily exceeded that time if they wanted to. They could have sent someone less experienced than Gary (of 20 years experience) who would have taken longer to check the wiring and install the outlet. But they didn't. Gary could have but he didn't. I appreciate that honesty and will surely remember them when I need an electrician next time.

Amazing! I called late in the afternoon and the next morning Gary was there. He told me upfront what their first hour would cost. We agreed on the project and he started immediately! I was under a time constraint as painters were coming right behind him. He finished the project and did a great job. Also the rep was very knowledgable about code in commercial buildings and was able to make the appropriate recommendations where required. I did not get another quote so I don't know how they compare to other companies. I felt I paid plenty for the work completed however I didn't mide as it was timely and good quality work. This company does not cut corners. They are worth the money!

Divin Electric was very responsive to all our queries. Michael was very patient with us as we don't know much about electrical stuff and explained and answered all our questions. His guys were punctual, polite and did a good job. One thing is his guy accidentally turned off the furnace switch up in the attic which resulted us in getting an AC guy out. When we found out the problem, I informed Michael. he promptly refunded me the money for the service call when I sent him a copy of the invoice. We will highly recommend them.

I purchased the big deal from Angie's List and they were good. I called the guy out because my power went out and he talked to me over the phone. He asked me to try my breakers and if it still doesn't work to give him a call because he said he would hate to charge me if it's just my breakers. I did that and it was my breakers so I did not have to call him back that time. As I was getting my A/C unit replaced the A/C guy said that I had an electrical problem. I called Divin and they came right out. They were very prompt and responsive. They checked everything thoroughly. He went up in the attic, came back to the breaker box, back in the attic and didn't complain one bit.

Everything went really well. The technician was very knowledgeable and was careful to install the fixtures correctly as to ensure they would stay in place. He was very curteous and time efficient. Michael the owner was extremely nice and helpful with answering questions. Scheduling was easy and the tech arrived on time. We have hired them to come out to install custom lighting in our garage this weekend. Would definitely refer them to our friends and family.

I recently purchased a home and the previous owner rolled paint over multiple electric recepticles. I wanted an electrician to change these out for me so it was done correctly. I called Michael and he was very professional and said someone from his office would contact me within 24 hours to setup an appointment. They called me the next morning and schedule an appointment 48 hours out. They showed up on time, did the job I asked for without any problems. I would recommend them again, only thing I would compare is prices to other providers as I thought $125/hr might be a bit high.

They arrived promptly and began investigating the issue, asking me questions, etc. Once the problem was fixed, they explained how we could fix it ourselves next time it happened, and gave us some recommendations for updating the wiring in our house. They were prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Excellent experience and will definitely hire again.

Michael was quick to respond to my inquiry and gave me an accurate bid quickly. His team was thorough and included me in all the decisions on switch placements and so forth. The two guys who came out to do the work were on time, courteous, efficient, and professional. They cleaned up their mess real good, too! And they finished ahead of their projected schedule. Just wish it had of come in pink! JK!

They came at the time they said they would. They worked quickly and professionally. They charged according to their regular rates. There was a small discount for Angies List members. That said, paying $375 for less than an hours work seemed high to me. To sum up, their work was excellent, and their prices reflected that fact. I would use them again for work when I want a professional electrician. For more ordinary tasks, like installing a ceiling fan, I would look for a handyman with some electrical experience.

Divin's accommodating owner, Michael Divin went the distance for us on a busy Saturday morning when he dispatched Richard to come to the house to see what he could do to solve the problem. Richard arrived promptly, assessed the situation and spent the better part of a day changing out all the smoke detector/ fire alarms in the house. He worked quickly and had our problem solved in short order. Richard was polite, pleasant and unlike the other electrician, able to figure out the problem and attend to it. We are especially pleased with the quick response and competent service of Divin Electric and would not hesitate to call them again. Thanks to Divin Electric, it's quiet in our house and we can be sure that our sleep won't be interrupted by ear splitting smoke detectors going off in the middle of the night.

Set two appointments with Divin electrical. Both times, no show and no prior phone calls cancelling the appointments. Contractor is un-responsive. I found another electrical contract that kept the appointment times and was very responsive/helpful.

We were very happy with the work that done and their professionalism. There was a small problem with them getting here on time. The receptionist accidentally gave the electricians my name and phone number but gave them the address for another client. Unfortunately, they called me from across town to confirm my address when no one was at the other address. As soon as they found out they were at the wrong place, they drove straight here. The receptionist also called to apologize for her error. We figured it was just one of those things that happens in life. Even though I imagine the electricians were frustrated to start their morning off on the wrong foot, they did not let it affect their attitudes. We also used a coupon they offered on Angieslist list. We paid $125 in advance for the usual $165 hour service. Angieslist notified them by e-mail that we purchased this coupon so we were then billed for the difference, which ended up being an additional $80. They were here approximately two hours. We would definitely hire this company again.

When I called them, they were prompt in inspecting and provided a fair quote. I never me the electrician. He arrived a little late, so I had already left for work. The work began on schedule but required City permiting and inspections that slowed completion a bit; overall it took about two weeks to complete but it was done on budget. The only "constructive" criticism I would offer is to explain process to the customer more completely. I was not prepared for the timeframe and did not understand that mutiple city inspections would be required so mid project I was in the dark more than I thought I should be.
