Description of Work: Provider replaced a light fixture in the bathroom that was faulty. He also replaced a light switch in the bedroom, which controls the light and a ceiling fan. The switch would work sometimes and I had to hit it repeatedly. I had already purchased a light fixture, but I didn't have a light switch to replace the existing one. Provider purchased a switch from Lowes and quickly installed the new switch. I was happy to be able to turn the light and the ceiling fan on and off. I was very pleased with the service and I would call this company again for any electrical work.

Our electrician came out to your property on Saturday, August 3 of 2013. You had purchased a StoreFront coupon for $125 for a whole home inspection. I have a note on our paperwork that states that we ended up installing a light fixture, which would have been the same cost as the inspection, if purchased via StoreFront coupon. Unfortunately, we in the office were unaware that you were still wanting the quote for more work, and our electrician has since misplaced his paperwork for it. We would like to extend our sincerest apologies and offer to return and compile a proper quote for you at no cost. Please let us know if you are interested.

Description of Work: THE STORM ABOUT A WEEK AGO KNOCKED OUT SOME OF MY OUTLETS. I SUSPECTED IT WAS A GFI THAT WAS TRIPPED. ONLY FOUND 2 OF THEM. KELLY FINALLY FOUND A 3RD ONE (COVERED OVER BY WALL COVERING) THAT I NEVER KNEW EXISTED). EVERYTHING WORKS PERFECTLY NOW...INCLUDED IN THE VISIT WAS MAKING KITCHEN FLOOD LIGHTS WORK AGAIN. Description of Work: They had come to my house once and took a few minutes to fix a kitchen light.They gave me a discount for the next visit which was to figure out some pool equipment issue and my electric box .The electricians were courteous and worked rapidly to complete all that was asked of them.I would definitely call them again

Description of Work: The lights went out in a sectin of our house. My husband replaced the GFI but it still wouldn't work. Purchased an Angie's List deal and the company came the next day to do the repair. It was a simple fix but was impressed with the ease of getting an appointment.

Waste of $125 and my time
Description of Work: They were supposed to fix a minor electrical issue related to my cooktop - did not happen - they said I had to get my cooktop provider to do this - a switch for one of the light fixtures had to be replaced - they said that the whole electrical system in my house had to be upgraded and could not replace the switch that had gone bad.

We are sorry that you are displeased with the service that we provided. We did follow up with our electrician that was on the job that day, and got further information and would like to explain to you why these things were not worked on. As far as the cooktop is concerned, our electrician, Gary, did check the power to the cooktop and verified that it was working properly. This means something was wrong with the cooktop itself, and we do not work on appliances. We only can test and repair power going to them. In regards to the switch is concerned, Gary was not saying that the whole home needed to be upgraded. What he was explaining is the switch to the ceiling fan/fixture is 18 gauge wire that is run exposed, and not grounded. In the City of Houston, the minimum size of wire for a switch leg is 14 gauge. There is a liability issue if anything were to go wrong and we had just replaced the switch without re-running it in the proper size, with a ground, non-exposed. We can certainly re-run this for you properly, and would be happy to provide you with a price quote to do so. I hope that this clarifies the situation for you.
