They lost some of our boxes. It took 10 days for us to get our belongings.

This is the first time I used the moving service. I moved 2 bed room apartment furniture from Dallas to NJ. 1. Quote and follow up to the pick up was quick [No Issues] 2. Pick up was great. Quick. [I read some bad review about the handling so 2 days before i packed my all furniture myself so be sure.] My 2 cents: Although Delta will pack your stuff. But if you want piece of mind do it yourself with cardboards and bubble wrap. 3. Now delivery time: The sales rep (Edward) committed 10 calendar days from pick up. but it took them 18 calendar days. I had to stay in hotel for 1 more week and wait. Note: The Other CSR (Tammy Wolf) was very helpful. She replied to all my emails on time and gave me the correct picture of the delivery delay. 4. All my stuff was delivered as is. No problem at all. [The driver (Wilmer) who delivered was very helpful]. Note: While booking sales will promise [10-12 calendar days]. Do not believe it. Its just the way sales people work. To get business they will commit anything. **As per their policy it can take from [14-21] business days not calendar days** so plan ahead. I wish Edward was more truthful. It could have saved ne 5 hotel nights stay. Overall: I might choose them again but will plan better. I was so impressed with the care that Delta took with my things that were transported to my new home out of state. I have unpacked all but 3 boxes now and nothing whatsoever has broken or been misplaced. I also thought the cost and value was tremendous especially for an out of state move. I am delighted and cannot say enough good things about this company!

I Absolutely would recommend using Delta! Not only is their team professional, but they went above and beyond to ensure my move was fantastic and easy. We are in the middle of a pandemic, and I was very nervous about the whole thing. I moved from Houston to Miami, Florida with my husband, and we were skeptic with what moving company to go with at first. We ended up going with Delta because we felt like they were the most honest about the actual process. Camille took the time to honestly explain how the price is determined how long the move would take and who would be handling my items. I appreciated the full disclosure. They did an exceptional job being honest with what is going on and what would the delivery spread look like. Again, we know that COVID makes things tricky, so while we were anxious for our delivery, I can understand how hard it is to operate a moving company during these times. When delivery happened, my mover was a friendly enough. I knew what fees to expect so delivery went quickly and smoothly. I thought I would share my experience for people who are worried about moving during COVID: Delta Moving did a wonderful job with my move, so I would highlyrecommend.!!!

The whole moving process was professional from beginning to finish. I spoke to a sales representative name Camille, who did a great job explaining the whole process of what my move would look like. I appreciated that she took the time and explained ità ¢à  à  s important to read the contract that Ià ¢à  à  m about to sign, so there really were no surprises about any fees. Louis and his guys came in and went out! So quick and professional. 2 months went by and I was ready for delivery in SD. Tammy did a great job keeping me updated throughout the whole time! I am one of those annoying customers who call all the time, and she was more then sweet and helpful. I enjoyed talking to her very much. I knew I was going to have to wait for my items, so I was ready. The delivery finally happened and it went great! Friendly men who assembled everything I needed. I had minimal damages (to be expected with old furniture and IKEA furniture) and nothing missing. This moving company is BY FAR the best Ià ¢à  à  ve ever used, and I have moved a lot. Take it from someone who knows, moving industry is rough, and companies will promise you the world in order to book. I can honestly say that Delta is a great company that I would highly recommend to anyone, as long as you read the contract. Thanks Tammy for being so awesome and making this move easy!

Best movers I've had! In the past 5 years I had to move 6 times bcs of my work so I've seen a thing or two when it comes to moving, I've had good and bad experiences along the years but Delta moving team did amazing and exceeded my expectations. coordination with Tammy at the office (thank you Tammy!) was very responsive, easy and helpful. Christian and his team were absolutely amazing, they showed up on time and got to work. Carefully and efficiently the wrapped everything and moved quickly, you can tell they know what they are doing. Moving is so stressful and exhausting, these guys made it much easier than expected. Truly 5 stars! Hope I will not move again soon, but if I do I already know who I will hire for the job. Thank you guys!

I hired this moving company to move my daughter and oh what a mistake. Do not hire because you will not pay what the estimated quote is, you will pay a lot more. They did a virtual review of the belongings and the estimate had the exact items that were picked up no more, no less. Upon arrival, my daughter was told that it would be almost double due to the weight of the goods being heavier than the estimate. We were never told that the cost was solely based on weight and that it could go up considerably if Delta underestimated the weight of the items after doing a virtual walkthrough. Then they thought they were being clever when they tried to say that they were giving us a deal by adding on an amount before actually weighing it because if they did weigh it, it would be a lot more. And you really have no way of checking the weight yourself and they know it. My advice, move or know upfront that you will pay a lot more than your original estimate. Because once they have your stuff there is nothing you can do about it if you want it back. And you have to have cash or money order on delivery and my guess is because they know that people feel scammed and would put a stop payment on a check or credit card.

Over the years and moves, the worst experience of our lives, run do not walk away

I recently had an out of state move from Austin to Denver. Camille was really informative and walked me through the whole process step by step. She was extremely patient, kind, and articulate. She was not pushy at all and allowed me plenty of time to shop around. She was easy to contact and was good about explaining what to expect with the whole process. I also talked to Tammy. Same experience, really nice and communicated well with what was happening. The movers who picked up our stuff were on time and super nice. They worked really hard and fast. There was quite a bit of paper work but ultimately that gave me peace of mind. On the back end one of the drop off guys was a bit rude. The other one was super nice and reassembled our tables perfectly. I had a perfect experience other than the one guys little attitude which was whatever. Considering the pandemic and the craziness of the world I thought Delta did an awesome job. I got all my stuff undamaged within the expected timeframe. Thanks to Camille and Tammy for making it stress free!

Delta made my moving process pretty stress free. Iâ ve moved a few times and Delta is by far the best moving company Iâ ve encountered. The day I closed my move, the sales rep went over everything, recommended that I look over the contract to understand any extra charges, and offered nd excellent and competitive price. Louis and his guys were amazing (quick, polite, and careful). My belongings did go to storage and meant to be delivered the next week. Things got a little held up in between but they arrived bout a week later. Again, Iâ ve moved a few times and Delta gave me A+ customer service. My stuff did have some scratches, but I filled with the claims department and received a partial refund. Again, A+ moving experience. Would recommend them over anyone else for sure.

I used this company for a move from TX to CA. Just like the other reviews, this was a terrible terrible experience with awful service. In summary: 1. the overall cost ended up being double the quoted cost 2. their sales folks are aggressive, but once you have signed a contract, forget hearing from them. Their customer service is terrible. 3. there is no tracking of your goods, you will not know when they will arrive. Mine arrived 10 days after the quoted delivery date. 4. They are not the movers, dont own the trucks etc. They just sell space. 5. You WILL pay additional fees when you receive your goods, hidden as extra distance to walk, or elevator fees. Mine was $200 in cash. Frankly the worst move experience and i do NOT recommend this company.

These movers were probably the worst I ve ever hired. They were cheaper than others, but I should have realized you get what you pay for. They damaged several pieces of my furniture and I m still waiting on the company to replace some of the pieces (it s been over a month). They were great about communication until they picked up my things and then couldn t tell me when they would actually deliver.

NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE AT ALL! Dresser arrived damaged. Box missing. Quoted one price had to pay another. They want you to tell them exactly how many pieces will be shipped. It is a little difficult to do when you have not finished packing yet! I specifically mentioned my grill and when I reminded the mover, he wanted to charge me an additional $200 to take it. I was told payment could be cash, credit/debit card, or money order. Upon final delivery, I was told it MUST be cash or USPS money order. I was told everything they takedown, they will put together. My television was NOT put up. My furniture had extra screws and pieces...something tells me it was not put together properly. Will I use them again? ABSOLUTELY NOT! And customer service...needs additional training.

I had a great experience with Delta Moving Systems. I was moving furniture from NYC to Wisconsin. Camille, who I dealt with, was great, thorough, and detailed. Everything went as planned. I was so relieved!

Delta Moving Systems rocks! They moved me from Coral Springs Florida to Houston Texas. They had a highly knowledgeable sales representative (Edward) who provided great detail regarding the moving scope and what to expect. On move day, they arrived on time and had me packed and loaded ( a 2 bedroom condo with 3 flights of stairs) in less than 3 hours! It took me a couple of weeks to actually arrive in Houston, however, Delta graciously held my items in storage at their warehouse (for free!) and they delivered me the morning after I advised them that I had the keys to my new place. Delta Moving Systems service was second to none. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

This company was outstanding in their service. A last minute move, they packed and loaded me on short notice. Competitively priced and timely delivered me in Houston from NY. I would highly recommend them.

Do not hire this company for an out of state move. They repeatedly lied about the delivery date when I was able to get ahold of them. They left me living out of a suitcase for 48 days. They tried to charge me extra fees upon delivery when they promised they would not. And they lost one of my boxes and damaged many items that were delivered. The insurance is a pittance, I finally got my $36 check a year and a half later.

They contacted me in the morning. They arrived on time to my storage location. Very friendly hard working professional guys. I would recommend Delta to anyone. Drove out of town to meet my delivery needs to new home location of a 4 hour drive. Competitive price.

. I was listed as a Premium contract by Delta Moving Systems. This was definitely not the case; especially to the tune of $15,000. Second crew member of first unloading truck was too old to move items and help. He turned out to be the father of the driver. (thought he was going to have a heart attack). o Discovered father of driver smoking a marijuana joint on trucks tailgate. He ran into the truck so as not to been seen anymore. Delivery crew arrived very late (1st truck at 6pm and 2nd truck at 8pm) and with insufficient number of crew, the crew did not finish until midnight which is just unacceptable as in the packing crew. o Thus, this crew was even more tired and just wanted to leave and thus rushed the job. o They left with many articles unpacked/unassembled and now I have 15 blankets. They only assembled the dining room table. â ¢ Found 70% of boxes were unmarked and time had to be taken to open them up for room identification. â ¢ Driver complained that there was no information that there was a basement and 2nd floor. This information was relayed to DMS by me when setting up the contract when asked. o Driver said he needed a fourth person to help in light of father not being helpful and second driver showing up two hours later. Unpacking of boxes: One of the movers was caught smoking pot while on the job. Unpackers were seen drinking beer near end of unpacking. For next several days of unpacking, we found that most boxes had articles in drawers (kitchen, bedroom, bathrooms, etc.) thrown into the boxes. o clothing and linens were used as packing material. o one box with linens had glassware that was shattered from packing/weight with glass shard embedded in linens. o another box had 40 spice bottles thrown on top of clothes. Several bottles broke making clothes smell like an herb shop (kind of nice but can not go to work in the clothes). o another box had clothing on the bottom and dirty garden tools on top. o Found highly explosive fireworks packed in a box of paper documents o All the picnic ice boxes were used as packing boxes. â ¢ Since most boxes were not room marked, making packing fairly time consuming. â ¢ Again, this crew also scraped the wood floor with their hand truck by getting tired, sloppy, and consequently in a rush to find a motel for the night. â ¢ Found Bud Light beer bottles thrown in garden along road shoulder by crew after they left. Both packing and unpacking crews were unskilled and not trained based on such sloppy and careless packing/unpacking.

Delta is an organized company and from the start. The customer rep, Camille, was not only helpful but detailed on the expectation and cost. This gave me comfort during the hectic moving period. The movers that came to pick-up and drop-off the furniture were very professional and efficient. The only thing I would recommend is that after the order was placed, I was contacted by another group in Delta that was handling the coordination before the delivery. They were not as responsive in emails, so I had to call them a couple of times to follow-up a couple matters. Overall, I recommend using them as a moving company.

Moving is never easy and involves a lot of details. Camille made this whole experience very flawless, from first visit until answering questions post move. I recommend this company and recommend making sure you understand all details of the deals (as movers have notion to add extra costs for something which you have agreement to be included). Company grants all negotiations once put on paper.

Delta was a good company, the crews were hard workers on both the pick up location and the drop off location and extremely efficient. Would have been five stars all around but just a little miscommunication with dispatcher and minor delay on delivery, otherwise they did great. Would recommend to use and I would use them again. Actual cost for move came in under initial quote!
