After clearing up some communication issues (on both sides), they have given us an ETA for our stuff which will make my son happy. Laura, our coordinator, took care of the issues for us and all we need now is our stuff delivered and all will be good.

The workers did a fine job. I received my shipment after 14 days which was fair. Initially I was very upset about the pricing since the quoted price was increased by over $1000 after loading. In fairness to Delta, Camille contacted me to work out something fair to both parties so after her help and caring, I became satisfied with the job by Delta and will most likely use them in the future.

Final Update: Claim process for my damaged dresser valued at about $150 returned a settlement of $24. Seriously!! Update on my review, Delta Moving Systems does take customer ratings seriously. I received a call today from a member of management concerning the poor review I left. While I am pleased someone called it should not have happen this way. If all goes well I should receive my belongings this weekend putting delivery at 16-days. The movers arrived much later than originally scheduled due to trouble with the Budget truck they used to haul my belongings. I did like the method used to ensure everything arrived but I did have a bedroom dresser that was damaged. I am changing my review only to give credit to Camille and Moe who where exceptional nice to work with. I offer the following recommendations: Sales: Make sure you completely understand everything you are being told. Make sure you ask the hard questions, like, how long could my delivery take. Paraphrase if necessary. DMS - ensure everything is clearly explained, documented in writing for the customer, to include during peak times, it is possible it can take up to 21-days for delivery. There is a big disconnect between sales and operations responsible for delivery. Advisor - I misunderstood the role of this individual. I thought this person was responsible for keeping me abreast of my delivery date and to answer any questions I might have. As I understand it they just merely get a date from Operations. Honesty - Be honest with your customer about what is going on. If delivery is delay because you dont have the carriers or the staff to meet peak demands then say so versus not saying anything. Cost - Management also explained the difference in the charges I received. I was not actually charged double, from the original quote, only for the difference between the estimated weight and actual weight which is reasonable. Once your belongings are properly weighed you pay the difference at the time of delivery. Caution, payments at delivery is cash or postal money order only. Overall my experience has not been positive. The movers did not make the original pick up date. My advisor did not stay in touch. I constantly had to reach out for a status. The movers picked up my belonging on the 28th and on the date of this positing 5 Jul, I have no idea when to expect delivery. I moved less than 550 miles so I am at a loss why the problem. The movers themselves, Moe, Gorge and Sergio where very professional. My rating for the quality of work is strictly based on the movers themselves. I am also rating the value low because the movers estimated at least 2K more than the original price though I have yet to hear the difference from the originally provided quote. It originally chose this company based on positive reviews but very disappointed.

Moving from Goshen NY to NC promised from Darrin the furniture would be here in 3-7 days but possibly 10 days at the max. It is now 11 days no furniture with a possible delivery on 12 or 13 May 2019. The movers were fine they said Delta is a broker and used them. Yet they want cash on delivery with no offer for any compensation for our inconvenience. Usually, reviews are accurate but not in this case. But the BBB will certainly have a report on this place!

A neighbor of mine moved from NY to Florida December 2018. He did not have a good experience. Now I was moving from NY to Florida. I was a bit nervous. I called a few companies, read BBB reviews, etc. I called Delta Moving Systems and spoke to Heather. She was very informative and helpful. I decided to use this company. Throughout preparing to move and delivery of my belongings the company was very helpful. The move went perfect. Not one problem. I was impressed. The quote was accurate also. I saw a news program describing horror stories with other companies. Everything went smooth for me. And I read somewhere that customers are sometimes getting paid for their reviews. I am not getting paid. The company was great.

Overall, a really great experience. The team of Alberto, Fernando, and Giovanni are awesome. They showed up on time and were all very courteous. They treated all of our personal items gently -- but also had no problem effortlessly hauling heavy furniture upstairs and placing it exactly where we wanted. The pricing is similar to other movers in the area, and the sales team was responsive and valued me as a customer. I would recommend Delta my friends and family.

This move was the best moving experience I've ever made. The office was very professional and kind. The movers were very attentive and took care of every item as if it was their own. They all worked very well together as a team. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. We were told up front what to expect and were very happy to find out that everything we were told ended even better than expected. We had a wonderful move.

I've had 1 local and now 2 long distance move experiences with Delta - they definitely take care of repeat customers. On the Houston side Luis, Alan, Roberto and Esther were my crew and they were phenomenal! There were no hidden surprises and everything arrived in good shape to my new home on the East Coast. Ray did everything he said he would do in getting my items picked ups and moved! Laura and Camille at the office were easy to work with and had great follow up. Thanks Delta!

Delta moved us from NY to SC. The movers on both ends were friendly professional and efficient. The move went as planned and well within the timeframe they gave us. The company answered all my questions (which were frequent and many) with patience.

Loved that Mike and Moe (my movers) were professional and efficient. I appreciate that they were careful and took their time to carefully move my belongings. I would definitely recommend Delta but be sure to get a thorough physical in home estimate...because under estimating your items could prove a bit costly on moving day.

Quoted and honored the agreed upon price. The packers were efficient, arrived and got to work...packed and loaded same day. On the delivery end, only two young men arrived, however, realizing their error, called and additional manpower...help arrived. 99.5% of items arrived in tact. Overall pleased with their value and service.

Delta Moving Systems is a professional, efficient and reliable company. I had extra services required for packing and then set-up of a grandfather clock and they handled it effortlessly. From the person who provided an on-site estimate, to the workers scheduling and loading, all were spot on. The quote was the lowest among 4 others obtained. I HIGHLY recommend Delta to anyone planning a move of any type. They treated me like I was a family member and handled my furnishings the same way.
