Company spent several weeks checking for & removing all 4 animals. They were always prompt, courteous. They also carried away a snake from a flowerbed. All animals were removed alive. After finding a dead rat in the attic, Critter Control came, set traps & we renewed a new year's contract to have the newly gnawed hole repaired. Entire house critter-proofed. No other critters found!

The inspector checked the attic and the roof, and made one suggestion which I declined.

They are very efficient. They are concerned and empathetic for my situation. I think that they are about in the middle of the price range and I think they are worth it.

Excellent service! The salesman came on time, inspected the house, took digital photos of what needed to be corrected, gave a price for each item. As scheduled the next serviceman came to set traps. The crew came to do the work as scheduled. It was neat, clean and efficient. They monitored the traps and took care of the problem. The communications were very good. We were shown digital photos of the work that was done. We received the before and the after photos in emails as well. They are a humane trapping business and take those that are not releasable to TWRC-Houston.org

The technician showed up on time and was nice enough. I showed him the location in my home where the smell was coming from, but he only stuck his head into our crawl space to shine a flashlight towards the area (we have a pier and beam home). He said he didn't see anything in the area I had pointed out, but that he saw flies coming from the other side of the house and was sure that was where the animal was. That area was not accessible through our crawl space so, with my permission, he busted out the siding on the side our our house to access the area. No animal was found. He apologized and took my check. Two days later I had another company come out and the technician crawled under my house and removed a dead raccoon from the exact spot I had pointed out to the Critter Control technician. If the CC technician had crawled under my house he could have avoided the further unnecessary damage to my home. When I tried calling Critter Control I was told the manager was out of town and never received a call back. I am still very disappointed and upset at how my situation was handled and wanted to pass along a warning to anyone considering this company. If a technician will not crawl under your house then show him the door! I think it's very unprofessional not to return a phone call to a paying costumer who has a concern with how a job was performed. I would have posted this sooner but I didn't realize this company was on Angie's List.

I made an appointment for the next day and was given a time when the technician would come out. My technician Craig called me about twenty minutes before he arrived. I was very impressed with his level of professionalism. He looked all over the house and gave me a quote for the repairs to stop animals getting in to my home. He identified that I had raccoon activity and they set traps which caught the raccoon after 3 days, I kept the trap for another 2 weeks and then it was collected. I no longer have raccoon's. I plan to get my repairs completed in the near future, but I am very happy with everything that I have received to date. The communication and customer service I have received have been excellent..

I heard scratching sounds in my attic. They thought it was a squirrel or a rat. They put meshing on the outside and put in a door for them to go out in case it was a squirrel. then they set 3 traps and we caught the large rat the first night. They would have come back to remove it, but I had a friend do it for me. They were good, but it was expensive. I call it my $550.00 rat~!

I knew that I had rats in my house, and had another company working on that, but when I got home late in the evening the Sunday before Christmas Eve I was surprised to find a Squirrel found its way down my chimney. I called a few companies that had 24 hour service, none of them responded immediately, including Critter Control. Given the time of year, I figured everyone was home with their families so I ended up sleeping somewhere else for the night after failing to get the creature out myself. The next day Critter Control was the first company to contact me. They quoted me their inspection price to remove the animal and it came with an inspection. They arrived at my house promptly, and within moments they were able to cage the squirrel. They completed an inspection of the home, and gave me some written information on what I could fix so that the squirrel (and the rats that I had) wouldn't happen again. I found them to be very professional. A few months later, I'm still having issues with rats, and would love to use Critter Control again, but they would charge me another inspection price which is the same as what I paid to have the squirrel removed, along with the rest of the work, and with the money I've already put into getting rid of rats and squirrels, it all seems a little too costly for me right now.

Technician showed up on time. Complained about the time it would take to set-up and move a 40-ft ladder around the perimeter of the house to clean the gutters. Said he would have to charge more - $500 to clean the gutters versus the $149 estimate that Craig gave us. Got on his phone with the home office for a half-hour to get instructions. He obviously didn't want to perform the job, so we cancelled the work. I took the day off to be there. Very disappointing.

My tenant called the Critter Control to get rid of rodents and the smelling. The Critter Control showed up on 2/27/2013, the odor is very obviouse, tenant told them it was from bathroom. Critter Control applied a DSV spray with $229.00 charges.Of course, the smelling is not gone. Then, on 3/6/2013, Critter Control came back to claim that they did a full inspection to identify what was needed to be repaired with $215.42 charges, and then provided the estimation with about $900 for the fix. Then we called another pest control from the Angies list, they came to spend about 25mins to do inspection for free, then provide us the same fixes that need to be done, and the cost for fix is $525.00 and with one year warranty, which is much, much lower than Critter control. I think the second trip from Critter Control is totally redundant, without full inspection, how could the oder source be identified? The only reason for the second trip I could explain was for the money, and because my tenant is a foreigner, they took advance of him. I will never use it company again.

This service came out to our previous home to remove squirrels from the attic. They did an outstanding job. So when we moved to this new house and heard activity in the attic, we had to call them for help once again.

When I called on a weekend, a Critter Control service technician called me back very promptly (within an hour or so) and discussed services and prices pleasantly. He did inform me that a weekend service call would cost extra, so we opted for a service call on the following Monday. Unfortunately, the actual prices were not exactly as I had expected based on the phone calls. We resolved the price issues. I was disappointed to learn that their bird "removal" service actually meant that they would ATTEMPT to find and remove a trapped bird from the outside rather than actually remove a bird if it was far inside the vents. This is an important difference; I wish it had been explained to me by either of the two employees with whom I spoke on the phone before I scheduled the service call. In our case, he did not find a trapped bird, and we hope it escaped the vent system on its own.

We called on a Saturday morning to request removal of a bird from a chimney. The person answering the phone was very nice. We received a phone call from the technician (Mark Miller) within an hour. Mark provided an excellent explanation of the options & of the fees associated with those options. He indicated that he could come by within a couple of hours. Although we chose not to use their services this time, we found Critter Control to be courteous, competent & willing to provide a thorough explanation of their services, fees & probable outcomes up front. In this particular situation, we chose not to use them, but I'll be calling them first whenever we need an animal removal service. I recommend them highly.

Rick completed a thorough inspection of the house and garage looking for signs of animals and entry points. He worked with us on price and was very flexible with the times he performed the work so that we did not have to take as much time off from work. He provided a one year warranty and came back a few extra times just to check that his work was holding. Rick was always very professional, courteous and on time.

They have not caught it yet and I will use them again in the future.

The people on the phone were polite and helpful. They were able to send someone out in less than a week. The person who came was knowledgable and helpful. He said that we had a squirrel nest in our attic and also identified several potential entry points into the house that weren't currently being used. He fixed the entry point the squirrels were using in the eaves and left a trap on the roof. We caught the first squirrel within a day, called, and they quickly retrieved it and set another trap. We caught an additional squirrel a couple of days later. A repairman returned later to fix all the identified entry points, and we've had no issues with animals in the attic since.

Experience was excellent and I would have no problem recommending these folks to anyone else. Raccoon removal from attic crawl space. Company 1st did an inspection to identify spaces where animals could gain entry to attic. They then set a trap, which captured the culprit. Once we were convinced there were no more animals in the attic, the company then repaired all soffit vents with material animals could not rip apart. I gave a price which I spent - which did not include the cost of re-covering the soffit vents (which was ~ $500 and covered by my homeowners association)

The tech called to let me know he was running about 30 mins late. I was home all day, so no problem there. He was very knowledgeable and told me that the pipe would be too hot for a snake, but some of the loose bricks, banana trees roots and low foliage I had in the garden would be more to their liking and suggested removing it if snake became a problem. He then went through the garden checking under the loose bricks and through the foliage to see if there were any. Luckily did not find any. He then suggested getting rid of the pipe anyway, and offered to cut it up and remove it for me, which he did! He also suggested a course of snake repellent if I was worried about more snakes in the garden. Overall, I am very happy. No snake and no messy pipe anymore!

They charge for each animal they trap, but it was worth it. No more noises coming from within the walls.
