I gave the price an A because they cheated themselves when they gave the quote based on the Pictures which worked in our favor. They did however, try to make us pay for the work they actually did, but we didn't feel it was fair since we had to finish some things ourselves. The quality was fair because the wall is still standing, but the door does not latch to the door frame. The following is the email I sent as a review directly to the company; As a result of this email they offered to take us to lunch and the project manager was fired for his behavior: David-Project manager, Ramond-Did the actual work, Arjun-Gave quote We are not really impressed with the service we got. We are willing to pay the full quote of 2200 that was given to us by Arjun, because we feel we were not quoted correctly. We think the quote should have been more and what we got is probably $2200 worth. When I start the quote process on the 3rd, I called CNR and I was referred to Arjun. I dealt with him until the project was started. He told me to send an email of what we needed done and pictures would be helpful. We do not do construction which is why we reached out to builders and contractors. I thought they would need to come out to get a better picture of what need to be done. Arjun said it would take three days to finish. David called and said he would start the job 6th or 7th because he had a few jobs to wrap up first. I talked to David on the 6th to see if they were starting, and he said no it would be the 7th. On the 7th David tells me his guys had a family emergency, but he brought the supplies they needed to do the job. So Monday the 10th comes and they didn?t get here until noon. They worked until 3 and the same on Tuesday and Wednesday. They finished everything except the painting and the door. We called David Monday the 17th he said Raymond was going to come. He did not. Tuesday the 18th is when I Sent David the disappointment email. He brought the door and Raymond came in. David comes in to bring the paint for the door and starts ranting. He starts talks talking to Raymond about what needs to be done and He says he is tired of messing with this job, it?s a waste of time and it?s a BS job. He says all this right in front of me. I let my CEO know what was going on and he goes to see what is going on. David starts saying every time he comes out here something else needs to be added or done, and he didn?t even want to take the job in the first place. My CEO takes him to his office to calm him down, and they come out and start talking again. He kept saying all he got was an email and three pictures. My CEO was saying how unprofessional it was to be taking it out on us when he should be getting with his sales team about the issues that kept popping up. It all comes down to, if he would have just given us an estimate and then came out to verify the estimate was right we could have avoided all the frustration. What happen to make all this complicated, is when we calculated our figures, we didn?t give enough room for the door to fit, so they had to move the wall out further and it got in the way of a few of our electrical plugs and phone jacks. This was the first thing that was changed. The second thing was that we need electricity in the wall, Which was in the original email by the way. And the third thing that changed was insulation in the wall, which was also in the original email. David told us that insulation did not usually go in interior walls, but we need it for sound proof reasons. Which all could have been avoided again if he came out to do a quote. We did not know we need to request that he come out here to do the quote, this was the impression I got from David. There are still some things we have to finish ourselves, but we are just going to call the job complete with you guys and pay the invoice. My understanding from Raymond is that this job should have been quoted at $3300. Again I am sorry about the long winded email, and I am not sending it to you because I am upset. I am just sending it to you to let you know how our experience was. Raymond said reviews are important you CNR, and the most disappointing part was David?s behavior and attitude.
