They did a good job for a good price. They did a good job. They are very competitive and very easy to schedule and work with. They show up on time or do it the next day. Overall, I had a good experience with them.

We spent about $1600 on that service. They provided great customer service, got the job done quickly and it looks great.

Carpet Giant was fine and there were no complaints, I just went with another company. There were high marks on everything, they were professional. Their quote was a little higher than most others but they were willing to work with us and bring it down.

They did a really good job. We have been very happy with everything including the initial meeting with the salesperson in the store and the advice that he gave us, the quality of the product we ended up with and the quality of the workmanship. The cost of the carpet and the installation was $2000. We would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

We contacted a number of carpet companies to cut our thick throw rug in half. Most wanted more than we paid for the rug to cut it and bind it. I decided to call Carpet Giant. They were most cordial and agreed to our request over the telephone. We dropped the rug off and within a week, it was finished. The binding was great and although it didn't match the other sides exactly, wasn't an issue as that side was up against the door threshold. This was a small job, to be sure. But with the service, value and timeliness they offered, we will be shopping at Carpet Giant for our next carpet or flooring purchase. Good customer service goes a long way!

They did a very good job. The only problem I had is I specifically asked if the tile would be installed correctly, from the center of the room, so that there would not be small, uneven tiles on the edge of the room. The measuring guy told me the installers would do it correctly. Unfortunately, they didn't and I have a very small edge of tile on one side of the master bath. Not much can be done about it now. Otherwise everything went very well.

Carpet Giant exceeded all of our expectations. We met with Gerald at the Gulf Freeway location and he walked us through the various choices he had to offer. We had already done some homework and had a good idea of product cost and installation cost. He was able to quote a very good price on an up scale carpet plus installation. We established a meeting time at the house and Gerald came out, measured and gave a firm quote. The installers did an excellent job. They even made a suggestion to transition from one room to another where there was a small change in elevation. They built some small ramps out of thin set. Seams are not visible anywhere and there was very little waste. The Carpet Giant team kept us informed the entire process. I would definately use them again.

All installers were on time, polite, knowledgeable, efficient and stayed focused on tasks that were their responsibility. Will be replacing carpet and flooring in mother's home.

Overall the installation went well. It took two days rather than just one like we were told but we did have a lot of heavy furniture to move. Installer was very courteous and careful with our furniture. Teresa, our sales person, honored our Angie's discount and the price I paid was exactly what she told me that it would cost. I thought she was very helpful in our selection of carpet and was very prompt and accurate in the measuring of the amount of carpet that we needed. I will definitely recommend Carpet Giant to anyone that asks.

We collected several home estimates and in the end did not go with Carpet Giant because they did not carry the hard wood we finally decided to have installed. Mark Romine was very prompt and worked ver hard to get our business. The next time we need floor repairs, we will call Carpet Giant for an estimate.

Our salesperson Liz was very helpful and patient and returned calls promptly. Carpet Giant had a large selection of flooring and worked with us on the pricing. The issues that we ran in to were a lack of communication between the installers and the store itself. We received a phone call from the installers that they would need to float the floors to install the hardwood and there would be additional cost, and they needed a decision from us immediatly. Not good. We called Liz ad she confirmed that it was included in the original bid. To her credit she handled it quickly. Then we received a call that we would have to replace the trim ourselves because it came off in pieces. Both my wife and I work 50 hrs a week, and don't have time for this. Another call to Liz, and that was handled. We then got a call that the floor was finished, and they needed to collect 5,000 dollars. We arrived to find the caret not done, and the trim not finished. Another call to Liz. We agreed to pay when the job was complete. There are two reasons that I didn't give this company a lower rating. 1) The installers did excellent work on the tile and hardwood. 2) Despite all the phone calls and confusion, Carpet Giant resoled all the issues. If Carpet Giant would have had better communication between the salesperson and installers I would have given them an A

Steve Martin, yes that is really his name, was our sales guy and he was wonderful. Very helpful. Listened to exactly what I wanted and made recommendations and also never once tried to up sale me and also told me what was a waste of money and what would work best. If you are thinking about using these guys ask for Steve Martin when you call. Steve came out about 3 hours after speaking with him on the phone and showed us some things that they could do. The whole things lasted about 45 mins. He was in and out and very informative. Even though he did not get finish with measurements and everything until 7:30pm he was still able to call and get us scheduled for installation the next morning. The guys came in right when we were told they would and finished sooner then expected. They were very nice and did a great job. We had no scuff marks or anything damaged while they put in carpet. The only prob I had with these guys is that they did not put back what they moved. I packed most of the little stuff up and placed it in rooms that were not going to get carpet but was told that the installers would move the heavy stuff and furniture. Well they did but the only put my bed back together where it was supposed to be. The rest they just left where they moved it. The actually left boards, not even sure where they came from, on my outside balcony and I did not find them for a week. We just moved into this house so we have some pretty heavy moving boxes with stuff for storage that they left in the guest bathtub. There is no way I can move these boxes out of the bathtub. My husband tried but was unable to do it by himself. So I would recommend to make sure you tell your install crew to please put everything back where it came from. Overall this company is the best with price. I got 3 quotes all for the same type of carpet. One wanted $10 a SF, another wanted $6 a SF, and Carpet Giant kicked butt with $2.75 SF. I feel that their work was just as good as the other guys but a heck of a lot cheaper.

Received Angie's List 15% discount, no games on pricing and worked well with us on getting the right quality and price carpet for the application that we needed. Met all deadlines that they promised and got the work done promptly. Cleaned up well from their work and hauled off all the old carpet and padding. Important to me was they did not try to go cheap on the padding, as I have had other carpet dealers do - they offered and installed a high quality 1/2 inch padding as we required.

The salesman at the warehouse did a great job of steering us to the right kind of flooring for our application. It also turned out to be the cheapest. The crew showed up on time at the appointed day, did an excellent job, and cleaned up thoroughly. My only complaint is that they used white caulking instead of clear caulking, and we had to paint over it.

They are good. They were very prompt, efficient and they did their job their well. They left and left a roll of under carpet mat in the closet that I suspect they were supposed to take. I called them and they didn't ever come and pick it up so they were generous.

Carpet Giant had no reservations about going to Sharpstown to replace the carpeting in a single room. I selected and paid for the carpet at their store, and they installed it on the following day, as we had agreed. I went to that store because I needed quick turnaround. The staff there was easy to deal with; another family member was at the house during installation, so I can't report on that. However, the job was completed as advertised, and our tenant seems satisfied.

From the initial visit we felt good dealing with Fransisco, our salesman. He listened well to our needs & steered us in the right direction to select carpets that were exactly what we were looking for. He came out to measure the following day & we were happy with the quote. We had just bought the house and wanted to have the carpet installed before we moved in but unfortunately we did not have power switched on by the date that we had scheduled installation. We were not certain which day we would get power & Fransisco was very understanding and patient with our changing the date several times. The men who arrived to install the carpets were very professional - I barely heard a word from any of them all morning; they just diligently worked away. I was very happy with the results & they cleaned up well after themselves. They also only charged $30 to haul away all the old carpet & underlay we had previously ripped up & left in the garage - this was well below the other quotes we had had to remove it. I would definitely recommend Carpet Giant for their knowledge & professionalism and for their price.

Very good except the way they did the stairs was not as good as the rest of their work. I would use them again.

New carpet installed without issues or concerns. The staff was very accomodating. The only glitch came when I had some gym equipment which the installers did not watch to touch. Of course, I did not mention it as I did not think I had to when I purchased the carpet the week before. Also, the installers were told my house was empty but, it was not and I did not say ever that it was. This was probably just an oversight but was cause for concern and further discussion on installation day. Overall, great carpet buying experience and I would use them again. I just hope not to have to too soon.

Carpet went well, once it came in. The marble tile we picked looks gorgeous. The installer did fantastic work. However, CG said it would take a day, it took 2 long days (until 9:30 at night the first night). We knew enough to select an epoxy grout, which they had to special order; he ran out day one and had to reorder more. Installer was excellent - very professional, pleasant. He did arrive an hour early but we'd told him that was OK if he could fit it in. The floor and grout looks great. Just took a long time. Our sales person was very easy to work with, but made several mistakes (our phone number was wrong, he spelled the epoxy grout wrong), but with some minor discussion it worked out. I'd say if Carpet Giant has the product you want, and you have a little time to work with them, they're a good choice. Inexpensive, quality was as good or better than expected. Depending on what we want, we'd go back (marble tile, yes, carpet - no because they don't have the quality level we wanted).

Last year when we moved into our house, we called Carpet Giant with dimensions and got a price estimate over the phone, something we appreciated and other companies would not do. We could not purchase the carpet at that time, but when we were ready we called again. The representative came to our house with samples as soon as we were available, and helped pick an appropriate carpet. We were able to schedule the installation that week. The installers were an hour late but called ahead, so that was helpful (I give C's or less for being late without calling). They finished the job in about 7 hours, including moving furniture, which was a great value for the money. The job overall was neatly done and looks good. We did have damage to one closet door that wasn't reported. The door was old and I don't blame them, but it would have been nice to know. One slight downgrade was that we had to make several separate payments (one directly to the salesman by check, one to Carpet Giant with a credit card, one to the installers in cash). My wife had to leave the house to get cash, we do not normally have much around, so it would have been good to know that that was necessary. We prefer to make one payment to contractors, it makes it clear who is responsible for the work.

Shopping to replace all of the carpet in a house is an involved undertaking. We compared Carpet Giant, Roberts and Home Depot. Steve Martin at Carpet Giant was very willing to make it work for us and really went the extra mile to earn our business. Even when we liked carpet from a competitor, Steve was able to find it for us and at prices that were much better than the rest. We had a big install and it included installing hardwood in three rooms. The only thing Carpet Giant wasn't competitive on was hardwood in two rooms as a competitor had a "special buy" on it that was priced exceptionally well. Everything went fine on install which surprised me. Since most all carpet comes from a handful of mills in GA (and some in CA), the quality was as expected and the prices were excellent.

I was really pleased. They beat all of my other bids. They clean up after themselves. Teresa Yousef went over the carpet options with me and was great. She gave me great advice about the all the options, she was awesome. She was very responsive.

The In-home consultation was great ! The carpet I chose needed to be ordered but it was delivered within a few days. Within a week ,I had new carpet ! The crew was very clean and professional, not to mention very nice!
