I regret ever meeting this builder, Armando Vela. He and his sub contractors failed to follow the engineered foundation plan leaving us with a failing retaining wall and subsidence underneath our foundation. We are unable to obtain design cert and occupancy on our log home built on a steep hillside. Armando has refused to fix the problems, could not get his subs to fix it, and we're stuck having to sue him. So far, this builder has even ignored the court after being served. Run, don't walk, to avoid doing business with this builder. He and his subs also failed to follow the blueprints, Southland Log Home construction standards, and the National Electric Code.
