As You Like It Carpet Care

Every part of the process was strait forward. Call and schedule an appointment, get a quote over the phone. They showed up and did the job as described, very nice. He even cleaned a few spots on the carpet stairs for me free of charge. To be fair I asked many questions during the quote process. (as I have had issues in the past with other companies )

They were great!!! We live in a loft in a 100-year-old building, so figuring out how to get the equipment, hoses, etc. worked out took a little doing. But they were on time, pleasant, really helpful, and made sure I was happy with the job before they even turned off the machine. I'd recommend them completely, and will use them again when the need arises.

The carpet guy, Edgar, came on time. Was very professional, nice, and made sure I didn't have any questions before he left. Was able to get out the bumps in my carpet. It looks better than it did before.

Ron was great to work with. He was responsive, courteous and very knowledgeable of the couch upholstery material. He was upfront about his minimum cost as well as managing expectations since red wine is one of the most difficult stains to remove, especially on such delicate furniture. He did an amazing job and 99% of the stain came out which is more than what I expected. I had him price cleaning a few carpeted rooms and will definitely hire him and refer him in the future.

Ron did an excellent job. Two of the rooms were heavily soiled yet the carpet looked great (all but one spot he warned me wouldn't come out before starting). He really knows his business - excellent service!

Ron was excellent to work with, My couch as a renewed lease on life and the area rugs he p/u and returned look fabulous and he was very accommodating to my schedule, He has a wealth of knowledge regarding carpet and upholstery care.

We had coffee spilled on our brand new white couch by the dog while we were out for the day, so the coffee had some time to set. We did our best to clean it out but there was still some discoloring and rings that needed the help of a professional. As You Like It responded to my communication within an hour and fit us in within 24 hours, greatly appreciated as we feared the stain would set the longer it was left. The minimum service charge was $95 and we were notified of that upfront; they charged nothing more than the minimum. As You Like it was very prompt and professional, and even checked in that night to see how the stain looked after the couch had dried. Very impressed with the service!

On time and wonderful carpet cleaning! We have white carpet on the stairs and upstairs in my children's rooms which gets very dirty and it looked practically new!! Will definitely be using As you Like It again! They also got out own and sharpie from a white armchair rocker we have in our master!

Arrived exactly on time. Provided a written estimate that was fair for the work requested. Technician was professional and efficient. Work completed in ~ 90 minutes. Excellent results. Will use again.

I opted to add a tile and grout cleaning. I'd have to say that I wasn't really impressed with the cleaning. It was rushed, and I've had my grout cleaner. It looked as if someone mopped the floors.

We were preparing the house for sale and Ron did a great job helping to improve the look of the place. He was prompt, very professional, and did a great job with the carpets, just in time for the showings by the realtor.

We have used As You Like It several times... and even though sometimes months go by before we call again, the owner, Ron Mink, always remembers us. He runs a great outfit. We had a 9-9:30 appointment time and his technician, Jeremy, was here a few minutes after 9. He got all the stains up and was very professional. They will even come back and re-touch up stains if the carpet dries and more rises to the surface (which can happen with pet stains). My only wish was that I had seen the 15% off Angie's List coupon before today! I missed it so missed out on the savings. But highly recommend them.

In addition to the reviews I found on Angie's List I had several friends recommend Ron Mink. We had a slight scheduling mix-up so they started later than intended but it wasn't an issue for me. I was preparing to sell my house and needed a good cleaning. My carpets hadn't been cleaned in several years and had some really bad stains from dogs and spills. The carpets look great now. Ron told me up front that some of the stains (red!) might not come out. While they didn't all come out they looked 100 times better than before cleaning. The red stains even faded some. If I weren't moving out of the Houston area I would definitely call Ron again.

Appointment was scheduled for 12 o'clock and he changed the start time the day before. This created a problem for me but worked out okay. Ron and the lady who was doing the cleaning arrived on time. He was quite helpful and friendly. They started working immediately while I continued to try to get things our of their way (since I had expected a later start time I wasn't quite ready). I had to leave for a dentist appointment so I wrote the check before I left. The amount was more than he had quoted me; however, I did not mention it or argue about it. The carpets, which had some really bad spots, looked fantastic upon my return to the house. If you need your carpets cleaned, don't hesitate to use Ron. I could not have been more pleased with them. The cleaning was not nearly as impressive. I knew the woodwork would not look better because it really needed painting; however, I expected the bathrooms to sparkle a little more for what I paid. It was okay but not impressive. I was reluctant to write this review because I had mixed emotions. I was so pleased with the carpets and not impressed with the cleaning. Finally decided to write it as I saw it. I gave a B for price because the cleaning wasn't worth it. I gave an A for quality because the carpets were beautifully done.

When I made the initial phone call, he came to the house almost immediately. He looked over the rug and saw all the spots that I was concerned about. He brought it back to his shop and cleaned it. When he was finished, he called and reported on the status of the spots and that he was ready to return the rug. I was out of town, so he kept the rug for me for an additional couple of weeks. When I returned, he brought the rug back -- and it looks beautiful! He was timely, and very responsive -- I will definitely use him again.

As You Like It Carpet Care owned by Ronald Mink helped me out in a big way during the past few months when I've been getting my house ready to sell. Ron's first service was to clean and restore 6 area rugs of varying sizes which I wanted to move to my new home. He did an excellent of removing all dirt, dust and cat hair that had accumulated on these rugs over many years. I wanted to make sure that these beautiful rugs would be in top condition for decorating my new home. All the area rugs were cleaned and restored to their former beauty and look great in my new house. Ron picked them up at my house and after two weeks, he returned to my house, so I didn't have to hire a truck to get them. I appreciated that extra service which saved me time and effort.. A few months after cleaning and restoring my area rugs, Ron came to my house with his helper and cleaned and stretched all thecarpet in my large 3996 sq. ft., 2-story house. They spent an entire day cleaning and stretching my 17-year old carpet. It looked like new again! My house looked and felt it did when I purchased it from Perry Homes in 1997, Ron and his helper installed new carpet in one of my bedrooms which had been damaged by a relative who's been living with me a few years. The new carpet brightened up the bedroom considerably. What was even better was Ron's idea to recarpet my stairs by using the old carpet which had been under the bed, around the edge of the room, and in the closet. Those parts of the old carpet hadn't been damaged and matched the carpet which was still in the rest of the house. Ron and his helper did a wonderful job carpeting the stairs. My realtor couldn't believe that it wasn't new carpet, it looks so clean and fresh after Ron cleaned it after the installation. .More recently, Ron cleaned all the whilte tile in my kitchen, breakfast room, utility room, vanity bathroom and entry way. After he completed his cleaning process, the tile looked like new! It is so much more clean and attractive, now. All the stained and dirty tiles around the kitchen sink, the refrigerator, or the cooktop have been renewed. Ron has been a huge money saver for me as I've prepared my house to sell. I didn't have to replace any tile and hardly any carpet, yet, my floors downstairs and upstairs have an amazingly clean and fresh appearance, now, which enormously enhances the overall impression of my home. I feel that Ron Mink and As You Like It Carpet Care will have enabled me to put my home on the sales market in the best condition possible. Ron and As You Like It Carpet Care also saved me money and the results of his services will make me money!! I definitely recommend that anyone wishing to renew the appearance of their carpeted or tile floors should call Ron Mink and As You Like It Carpet Care.

Went great! For a reduced price, I dropped my rug off. A nice surprise was that the owner delivered the carpet back to me once it had been cleaned.

Service was very satisfactory and I would use them again.

It went really well! He came at the right time for a same day appointment and everything went very smoothly. No extra costs than what was quoted for their service call fee.

I foster dogs and puppies and...well the carpets have seen better days. A couple days before my in-laws came into town I realized I had forgotten to schedule carpet cleaning. I emailed the owner, he was responsive, squeezed me in (he totally felt my pain) and came and got the job done ... and done really well. I was shocked how well it came out. The price was fair and Ron was really nice, very professional but also friendly. He also gave me tips for cleaning up "accidents" in the in-between time. I will be surely calling him out after this round of puppies find their forever homes. Clearly Ron is committed to his business.

AS YOU LIKE IT CARPET CARE was AMAZING! My husband and I were on a very tight time schedule. Ron Mink, the owner, was very polite and professional. He worked with us and came in on time and on budget.
