Everything went well. Crew showed up on time and finished before I thought they would. I recommend Air Tech for A/C and Heating installation and maintenance service.

Allen provided three options, based on the comments I had made. He got points for listening. I was pleased to find that American Standard was top-rated in Consumer Reports for reliability. I was familiar with their plumbing products only. After securing a second proposal, from another Angie's list contractor, we negotiated some changes and I authorized them to proceed. Their crew showed up on time and worked diligently. They cleaned up after themselves when completed. To this layman, the work appeared meticulous. Certainly, everything was neater than the original builder's installation. When the city building inspector showed up, when he got to the top of the attic stairs, his first words were, "They did a nice job." As he looked around more, he said, "They did a REALLY nice job. Who was the contractor?" I have been very pleased with the operation of the equipment. It is much quieter (inside and out) than the original equipment, and it maintains a much more even temperature and humidity. Do ask about the ten-year labor warranty.

My 24 year old AC finally had it. I had several quotes to fix and replace. After talking to them I realized they could do the work for a very reasonable price compared to 5 quotes I got. It was 2PM when I decided they would be my installers. They had a crew at my house 2 hours later and got the entire system replaced with a 16 seers unit by 8 PM. The guys were professional and very nice. I found my new go to people for my AC problems. Very happy!

On a very hot day in August ... temperatures in excess of 100 ... I was having remodeling done on a bathroom. Lots of contractors in and out.. I noticed the house was getting hotter and hotter so I checked the A/C; it was running but not blowing cold air. It was late on a Friday, when this problem because obvious. The next morning I called one of your highly-rated HVAC companies, Air Tech, to see when they could come. The dispatcher said that afternoon --- hooray! She also told me about a coupon that I could use for the service call and apply to any repairs. The capacitor was replaced, a part the repairman explained was essentially like a transformer. When the temperatures get over 100, these things "boil" and explode causing the A/C to fail. He replaced it with a more stable version. I really appreciated the friendliness and pro-active behavior of the dispatcher to get us cool as soon as possible on the hot weekend, the timeliness and professionalism of the repairman and his patience to explain the information about the part.

They did what they had to do, but they didn't do everything they needed to do. My vent in my room is noticeable that they ran the brush over the vent one time and did not clean thoroughly.

The tech arrived on time. He checked the attic and the outside to troubleshoot why the air conditioning was not in operation. After 15 minutes of check, he was able to confirm that capacitor need replacement. Also he suggested that one of the dampener motors was not working. He did provide the price but it was too costly at that time. He bypassed the motor switch and left the dampener open to prevent freezes in the evaporator coils. Overall, he did good and I will recommend this company for future work.

The technician was very knowledgeable, and professional. He explained everything that would have to be done, and quoted a reasonable price. After I had a problem with a previous AC company, I was very pleased with AirTech. Great Service, and I will be calling for future repairs and services.

They came on time, were very professional and made suggestions on about future maintenance that I found very helpful!

I contacted this company and three others to quote this job. Allen (company rep who came to review the work & quote the job) was the most knowlegeable of the 4 individuals who came. He was thorough, consulted with corporate offfice before he shared several options with me on how to accomplish what I wanted & shared the pros & cons for each option, The other cortractors simply quoted exactly what I requested. This company had a better solution than I was planning to do which shorten the piping needed and as a result made the system more efficient. I scheduled the work, The 2 individuals who came were on time, very friendly, seemed very knowledgable and also communicated with myself and the main office before begining the job to prevent mis-communication on what exactly was suppose to be done. They were very efficiient, did all the pre-work before shutting down & disconnecting the system. I was without airconditioning for less than an hour. Tech provided options for the A/C repair and various costs. Provided the pros/cons of each option. Fixed the replacement based upon my choice same day and I had A/C.

It was fantastic esp. for a HOT August weekend afternoon. Our AC stopped working we knew what needed to be done we called another service provider they were unable to come until 2 days later. We called had a very nice conversation with the operator/dispatch. Called back to give us an estimate time of arrival and the tech.'s name. The whole interaction very easy and pleasant. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Provider was called to repair AC. The blower would not shut off. The provider said it was a bad coil and even put coolant in knowing that it would not solve the problem. Personally, I feel the service tech took advantage of my wife trying to preform services that did not correct the problem. At one the tech said he was performing a diagnostic service and he used the analogy of being like a doctor. He was using a trial and error procedure

Friendly and on time. Called thirty minutes ahead of time. I called over the weekend they showed up the next day a holiday and performed the service. It was a little pricey, but went well.

Arrived as scheduled. Checked outside fan and AC unit thoroughly. Determined it was functioning properly and no repairs were required.

The service man was able to get the job done. But he was 2 hrs. late to the job and didn't call to inform me that he was going to be late until he'd already been an 1:30p late. Since I also had an appointment I was able to be late for due to his tardiness, he then rushed through the job and took his time writing up the ticket for the completion of the job. Ugh. Overall the issue was fixed, thank goodness. But being two hrs. late is ridiculous.

Was told during sale that the new air dampers would be adjusted to balance the system after the new installation. Was also told that a revisit a few days later would happen to ensure quality and a final check. Neither happened! Had to have another AC company come out and adjust the dampers and SEAL all the leaks discovered in the attic around the plenums. We've been cooling the attic for 2 months!

Called before hand. Identified himself. Professional uniform Immediately explained potential source of problem and addressed it with full explanation. Checked my outside systems and provided answers to questions I had .

Came out and checked the 2 AC's. One was low on coolant and sold me a bunch to top it up. The second AC they tried to sell me a valve on the unit that was working fine and apparently did not even have the valve they wanted to replace. The next day they came back just to discover a leak in the coil in the attic. They then said they would deduct the cost of the coolant on a new coil. You would think the first thing they would do is check for a leak on a closed system BEFORE they charged you for that expensive coolant if there was an obvious leak.

He called beforehand, rang doorbell, did not step in but introduced himself and had company shirt and company truck. When he arrived he called into central office to say he was here. He was very polite, very professional, and did not rush me into spending any extra money. I have used these guys before and will use them again! As a single woman at home I felt he was very safe and honest with me.

He did a nice job and was professional. I thought the price for the run capacitor was a bit high, but overall I'd hire them again.

Excellent! Mark was very likeable and professional. He explained the problem. He had to go get a part but came right back as promised. This was a Saturday afternoon and Mark never complained. Also, Katie was so friendly and reasurring that my AC would be back on when I called to schedule the repair. Thank you! I will use this company again!
