Apparently work had been done on one of the units before, and shoddily. He told me one of my units could go at any time, but did his best to make an adjustment, and didn't try to push me too hard to replace it early. Gave me a comprehensive quote. Price seems a little high, but with these things, you often get what you pay for. I'd trust them to install it well and the warranty seems like a good deal.

I called Katie at Air Tech for an emergency with the home we are attempting to buy. The house was under deadline before the option period expired and the seller was causing difficulty in scheduling inspection. Air Tech took all the stress off of our shoulders and committed to being at the property within a very small window of time. They also promised to forward a written quote within our deadline. Although we ended up not needing the inspection (there was a lot of drama from this seller) Air Tech was very gracious about the wasted time on the phone. After my homeowners warranty expires I'll be using Air Tech. Thanks again to Katie.

Super! - discussed the system with Kyle... he got it as good as he could... - got a bid on new system... (which is being installed as I type this... - review about that to follow - they're doing a SUPER job!)... So, "would I use them again?" - Oh Heck Yes... in fact... I am right now ;-) Very pleased that I found them... Thank You Angie's List ;-)

This was a big deal purchase. It was fine. To tell you the truth I don't remember too much I don't remember too much about hiring them.

After Kyle (Air Tech) did a service on my AC last fall - I liked the company and the service - and I had a bid from them... Duct work is significantly cheaper to do in the winter... So, called them last month and got options... 14 SEER, 18 SEER, & 20 SEER... went with 18 SEER system - and OMG! scheduling easy - working with these people was EASY! NOTE: old system (Lenox installed with home - David Weekly) - used a 30" x 30" pad - and the lawn sprinkler system had 2 heads right next to the pad... Called them - and discussed the new system - 36" x 48" pad - that would cover 2 sprinkler heads - so, I got ready to move them - then thought - called Air Tech - found out about proper positioning of the system - and I only needed to move 1 sprinkler head - and they also moved the new outside unit out another 3" from the house - so the 'drip' would miss the unit... They showed up this morning about 8:20 (traffic) - and they drove off a few minutes ago... it is 3:35 PM... New unit - SWEET! ;-) So quiet... and the system control panel doesn't require batteries... Included in system is a 'whole home air cleaner' - and they gave me spare filter... - and I ordered a couple of better ones more from Amazon ;-) They supply 'standard' air cleaner - I ordered the next step up... ;-) I now don't need the 2 air filters in the returns - but I'll continue to use them to get the 'chunks' out of the air ;-) New control unit - no batteries! HALLELUJAH!!! They take care of registering warranties! (Yippee!!! - I'm the world's worst at that! ;-) ) All in All - very, very pleased - glad I used them! Not a problem from start to finish ;-) Update: 2/29/2016 When the extra insulation was being 'blown in' (2/27)- I noticed one of the AC ducts had a 'restriction' in it - where it came across some wires strung through the attic... Called Air Tech on Saturday (2/27) and they sent some guys out this morning and fixed it... Responsive, helpful, and seemed happy to take care of it... I'm still very pleased I chose them for the work! :-)

We had some issue with the AC unit in a house that we rent. Since the tenants wanted it fixed as soon as possible as it was summer we called for the emergency service. They were prompt and were able to come immediately and fix the problem fast. I am glad that it did not turn into something big and they were able to fix it fast.

Courteous and professional. My heater stopped working, and because of the cold weather, it was important to get it fix as soon as possible. I contacted Air Tech and I was able to make an appointment the same day. The technician was very professional and courteous. Not only did he fix the heater, but he also discovered a gas leak and fixed it at no additional cost. I'm very happy with the experience.

I used them before for the replacement of a different 25 year old, 3-ton system and it went so well that I used them again. While this unit had not failed (unlike the other one) it was the same vintage so I took advantage of their "low season" for the replacement. Not only would I recommend them, but I used them again. Unreserved recommendation!

Even though this was supposed to be a diagnostic call the technician made the extra effort to go to a store for the fuse and install it at no extra cost.

They were very attentive and they found a leak in our bottom unit that was leaking refrigerant. Our home warranty company had come out to add refrigerant recently and charged us a lot of money, and never told us we had a leak. We decided to use this Angie's List deal to do a thorough inspection and make sure nothing else was wrong since we recently purchased the house, and if they had not come out we would have continued having issues with the refrigerant leaking. Thank you!

Contractor responded to call quickly and was able to diagnose and repair problem immediately. Workers were friendly and courteous.

I use Air Tech every year for heating and air conditioning inspections. I had used other HVAC companies in the past, but I feel Air Tech does the best job.

Alan was great! He called 30 minutes prior to arrival. Was punctual, respectful, considerate, and understanding of our situation. He performed the service and was upfront and honest. He did not try to sell me on anything I did not need. It is nice to find an honest person in the business!
