Description of Work: Air Tech Houston are competent, responsible, punctual, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous.I hired them to install a new HVAC unit, and I would certainly hire them again for any A/C or heating work. An inspection report for a house I was interested in purchasing revealed that the first floor HVAC unit was on life support. Some parts were 20 years old After scouring Angie's List for potential A/C contractors,.I set up an appointment for a bid with Steve Findlay, and he arrived on the date and time that we agreed--in fact he was early to the appointment. Very refreshing! I knew that Air Tech installed American Standard products, and my research on Consumer Reports revealed American Standard to be the A/C system with the fewest historical repair issues. Steve and I discussed the SEER ratings and the needs of my 3300 sf house, and we agreed that an American Standard SEER 14, 3 Ton Unit (all inclusive--coil, dampers, furnace, condensing unit--everything) would be installed on June 11, 2012. Steve gave me a 3% discount for paying cash (after the job was completed) and encouraged me to use the $375 Angie's List discount coupon as well. I was very pleased with the discount and the coupon. Steve was knowledgeable and friendly, and there was no pressure to choose product A over product B. I had another bid that was a little higher, but Ifelt most comfortable with the Angie's List reviews and with Steve. On June 11, the appointed day for installation, the the crew from Air Tech was ready to go to work at 7:15 am. I was delighted, although I wasn't expecting them until 8. Since I don't yet live at the property, I thanked the service tech for calling me from the property, and I jumped in my car and roared over to the new HVAC installation. The entire Air Tech crew was very friendly, very polite, and seemed right on top of their business. They finished in less than 4 hours, and I was absolutely amazed. They hauled off all of the old, decrepit system and cleaned up everything very neatly. A few hours later, my spouse had a niggling question about something he had seen in the attic associated with the installation. He left a message for Steve who called right back and explained it to my engineer-spouse in a very satisfactory fashion. Great job, Air Tech. I'm another very satisfied customer.
