Description of Work: They reviewed my old A/C system recommending that I get a new one, and replace the 30 year old furnace. They gave me a competive price and installed everything the next day. All of the service techs were knowledgeable and professional, and very considerate of my time and cleanliness of my home during installation. I heartily recommend this company.

Description of Work: Air Tech of Houston installed a complete 3 ton 13 seer American standard unit for upstairs, since my other unit was 21 years old. The price was comparable. They also installed 4 ton 14 seer condenser with a new coil with expansion valve (American Standard) Silver Xi model, the price was moderate. They did some duct work and installed a new media filter on the new 3 ton unit. The leader of he team was very friendly and professional. I knew something about central air condition and I did some research. Overall the crew did a very good job and the leader walked me through at the completion of the installation. The office staff and sales person were courteous and professional in answering all my questions and including arraigning for interest free loan with the bank for a year. The total price was $11,709. I will wait for and see how they service their customer after sale. All indications are that they will perform good service, I will let you all know in about six months. As of now I will hire them again and recommend to any one who want to use their sales and service.

Description of Work: "Just as we had purchased the $49 Big Deal Spring A/C 18-Point Inspection and Tune-up earlier this year, because of our positive experience then, we purchased the $49 Fall 18-Point Inspection and Tune-up for our Heating system this Fall. The appointment was very easy to make, and once again, Steve Finley came right at the appointed time and performed a very thorough inspection of our heating system. He is very pleasant and seems to be very knowledgeable. He left us with a card with his personal contact information on it in case we had any trouble with our heating (just as he had done with our A/C."

Description of Work: they changed my whole air handling system and it took them three tries. they did finally complete the work but it was very painful, even to get a green tag. we paid more than i said we spent, but at the conclusion, the product seems ok for a 40 year old townhome after at least three additional visits to make it right. But they did make it right>

Description of Work: I initially contracted with them last year to replace two (2) evaporator coils and was "over the moon" with how competent, clean, professional and friendly the technicians were. Subsequently, I purchased a Maintainence Contract with them, and continue to be extremely pleased with not only the technicians but the office staff who kindly remind me a couple days before their visit. Steve came out on a Saturday recently, within two hours, after a workman, who had installed insulation from a different company only on that previous Monday, had mistakenly pulled out the electrical connection to one of the A/C units in the attic. In this day and age, it is a pleasure to find such nice people working at a company we definately need here in Texas. Wahoo!!

Description of Work: Was not able to utilize the company. I am only available on weekends, and the special deal did not include weekend service calls. The initial scheduling was easy (when I thought I would be available during the week, and the person I spoke to was friendly and courteous. She was also understanding when I had to cancel at the last minute. I do intend to use them when I am able to coordinate a time for them to come out.

Description of Work: They came on time to do the $49.00 inspection. Showed me that the inside motor was iced up, he took a cell phone picture. He recommended that I replace all of it. They came out with the new equipment, installed it . Mike even programmed my TV for me. Really didn't want to spend that much, but after reading reviews about the "old" unit, I was lucky to have it for 9yrs. . Hoping this one will last longer than 9yrs. I would recommend this company to everyone I know. Good job done!!

Description of Work: Daniel from Air Tech of Houston came to my house at 210 Voss Rd. 77024 for a complete check on AC and Heating units. The service is normally $129. but Angie'sList had it on special for $49. Daniel's inspection was absolutely the BEST checkup of my unit in the past 15 years. Using his $900 set of meters, he checked vapor pressure and other variables to determine that I was 2-3 lbs short of freon 22. He added the freon from some I had stored when the unnit was installed. He was on time and called beforfe he arrived. I will definitely call Air Tech for any future check-ups or problems.

Description of Work: I has used Steve before for my AC tune up and he did a wonderful job. Had him put in a new return for better efficiency when he was here for the AC. I was happy with his work and wanted him back to check out my heater. I had just bought the house in June and needed to be assured that all was in working order and as it should be. I trust this company and would recommend them to everyone I know.

Description of Work: I used a different company on Angie's List for a "tune-up" on my A/C system in my 1958 house that I had owned for about 1 year. When I was told that I needed to replace certain parts of the system, I decided to contact other companies for quotes, to make sure I was getting what I needed and at a reasonable price. Air-Tech had great reviews so I called them in. They sent someone that seemed like a kid that had just started on the job. He started telling me what I needed to replace before even going into the attic to look at anything. Then when I asked him about a 3-Phase system he explained what it was, but was totally wrong, and didn't know what he was talking about. Anyway after it took him a painfully long time to write up a quote for me, I let him go. When the company called me to follow-up on the quote, I told them my impression. They seemed surprised and explained that the guy that showed up was somehow related to the owner (his son maybe). I don't remember that detail. They said that they were surprised because he'd been in and around the business for a long time. Anyway the office people were really nice, and the price wasn't that bad, but when you don't trust the person you are talking to for the quote you probably aren't going to use the company.
