Description of Work: Service call to check out air conditioning system. The technician deserves an A rating. He was very courteous and knowledgeable.

Description of Work: The technician was on time and thorough. He explained what would be checked (both inside and outside)and was able to perform routine maintenance at the time of the check, including adding additional refrigerant (Puron). Cost of the tune-up was $49, plus $60 for refrigerant.

Description of Work: 3-19-2014 I purchased Air Tech's Big Deal for the 20-point AC Tune-up and they did a thorough inspection of my 10-yr. old AC. Only issue they mentioned was that the secondary drain line is sagging badly due to copper line settling on it. |4-10-2014 Air Tech installed new drain, leveled pan & installed float switch. Their technicians were very professional and answered all of my questions. I will use their services again as needed.

Description of Work: Inspected central heating and AC unit and found numerous problems with our 17 year old system. Very thorough in their inspection.

Description of Work: One tech over filled my AC system, which was running very well before he arrived. I only wanted to be sure my system was running optimally. The small fee I spent online through Angie's List ended up being over $600.00 dollars due to the cost of Freon added. Then after he left, my AC which was running fine, begin to run warmer than it did before they came out. I called their office and spoke with a lead tech that came out the following day. The lead tech checked the first tech's work and did have to let some Freon out. The Freon was released into the air and not into any container. I was concerned for his safety while he was releasing the refrigerant. My AC began to work better but was still not at the state it was before Air Tech came to my house. I called a different company, to be sure; and they let even more Freon out (into a container), cleaned my coils and inspected the entire system. My AC now runs as good as it ever has. I was grateful that Air Tech tried to make this right, but it was clear the initial tech was trying to make an additional sale without concern of any damage to my system. One thing that leads me to say this was that he didn't let me see the weight of the tank before he filled the system or afterward. He was very nervous when he filled the system and I called him on it. I told him "in the future you need to let the customer see the weight of the bottle before and after you fill the system." "I can't tell how much you put in and how much was in the bottle before you started." I also stated my AC system was running fine and that I really didn't need any service, I just want to have my regular season check. Overall I am disappointed with my investment and I would certainly not make a recommendation to have any of my friends use Air Tech in the future. I just don't want to take that chance. Thank goodness I had someone else check my system before the overfilling caused any damage.

Description of Work: We were very pleased with the service. We were given options and not pressured. The technician patiently explained the problem to me and then again over the phone to my husband. We decided to replace the 17 year old furnace, and it was done the same day. We will definitely use them again.
