Description of Work: Furnace service in preparation for winter. As always we are very pleased with Air Tech and would definitely recommend them. They responded promptly to our service request, tech let us know he was on the way, and they gave us a full report and recommendation with regards to both of our furnaces.

Description of Work: Air Tech of Houston installed a new furnace and removed my old furnace. The foreman provided sound technical information and explanation of what they proposed and why it was necessary. | |Air Tech updated my natural gas connection, flue gas exhaust through the roof and provided updated plenum for air intake and connection to A/C evaporator coils. The resulting product of their craft work and equipment match-up resulted in improved air flow, improved overall heating and air conditioning and circulating performance. | |They were not the cheapest bid we obtained. Air Tech of Houston had installed a new A/C evaporator coil four or five months earlier. I was satisfied with their work there and had confidence they understood how to match components of my overall systems. | |Air Tech of Houston was prompt and professional. | |Their install crew did stain the carpet upstairs and failed to tell me. Given the scope of the job, I considered some collateral damage.

Description of Work: Air Tech of Houston replaced my old, corroded, clogged evaporator coil and plenum for an R-22 refrigerant system. Air Tech advised me of the pending phase out of R22 to 410 however, my condenser unit is very new, under 2 years, so I opted not to replace the complete system for between $8500 to $12,000. Again, Air Tech of Houston is not the low cost provider. They do provide quality craftsmanship, equipment and knowledgeable expertise fitting my specific needs. | |Air Tech of Houston provided clear work scope and quotation. They made clear what was included and what was out of scope. They provided everything required for the system to operate without 'surprise' requirements that I would not have had the expertise to know I would need. Their negotiations were fair and up front. | |Additionally, their cost breakdown of labor and equipment was fair. They do not use the cheapest equipment and have quality skilled labor that both Air Tech and I have confidence I will not have problems. | |Air Tech provided quality equipment and labor that worked very well. They are not the cheapest or or gold plated provider. They can stand behind their work and provide what you want giving clear information the buyer needs, without bloating the job. | |I would use them again and do recommend them to others. | |The amount of plenum and duct work required was extensive definite required skilled craftsmanship and was very well configured allowing adequate air flow without restrictions when completed. They to a reasonable four to five hours to complete the work. | |

Description of Work: Check a/c units add freon if needed

Description of Work: Air Tech responded to my query quickly and I was able to schedule a time for repairs without any issues. They showed up on time and repaired my kitchen vent quickly. Was happy with overall service. |I feel the cost was a bit high considering the minimal materials and time required for the repair, but I did not request other quotes for a comparison.

Description of Work: They replaced a relay. The A/C would not work at all. Instead of trying to sell me on a big unit replacement, they were forthright about the problem and cost. I was very impressed with their integrity because I knew they didn't make much on the service call.

Description of Work: The heat wasn't working at a rental property during a cold spell. I called 3 different providers and was able to find 1 that could come out that day. He diagnosed the problem. Although he wasn't able to fix totally, he make a quick fix so my tenant could get some heat and told me what was required for a total fix.

Description of Work: Provider was very prompt in responding and setting up an appointment for a consultation. Advice given was professional and accurate. Appointment for repair was set up for the next day and installation went smoothly. System is functioning well now. Will definitely use again.
