Description of Work: My air conditioner was pushing out warm air, I chose Air text because they could see me on the day I called and I had a strict schedule. They were one time and very professional, but I felt very deceived on the price. $150 min for showing up, then out of my 3 options I choose the least expensive, $55 for the coolant replacement. When it came time to pay it was $400-ish because it was 55 a quart and he poured 5 quarts into our system, and the 150 wasn't absorbed into the price for the liquid, only for service. I spent time and energy in a conversation trying to understand all the prices and felt like they were hiding the bottom line. I also don't like how they tried to sell me a 4000 brand new system, after knowing me and my house for all of 30 min. I'm sure they are taught to present this option, but on top of everything else it seemed doubly deceptive. I got another provider to come out and they said with some maintenance my system should keep working well for years.

Description of Work: The tech alerted me to a filter change problem that past service providers had not mentioned. He also confirmed that my current equipment is in good shape.

Description of Work: They replaced the entire heating and air conditioning system and duct work. The entire project went very well. The first tech arrived about 10 minutes before the scheduled time driving a large truck with all of the materials for the entire job. About 10 or 15 minutes later another truck with the rest of the crew arrived. They covered my floors, all wore shoe covers and were careful not to damage the walls or stairs. When they were finished the lead tech walked me through the job and explained the warranty. They cleaned up and hauled off all of the old materials and trash. The entire job was finished on schedule. They even coordinated the City of Houston mechanical inspection for me. The Inspector commented that they had done a good job. I am very well satisfied with Air Tech of Houston and will continue to use them to service my HVAC system.

Description of Work: I called them for a seasonal a/c tuneup for my elderly mother. They were prompt, courteous and gave her a senior discount. She will call them again.

Description of Work: Replaced condenser fan motor and repaired broken ignition switch. |Found out that AC unit had not been installed correctly when house was built. AC unit only 2 years old and hasn't run correctly since I moved in. I called original installer three times to fix it and all three times they claimed nothing was wrong. I finally called Air Tech and they identified problem immediately.

Description of Work: After getting the run around with the shady vendors the home warranty company sent out; I called AirTech to come out and fix my ac issues. The rep was great; he explain what was going on and gave me the option to repair. I elected to go with a complete new system which was competively priced and they gave me a discount and completed the job in one day. Couldn't have asked for better service from these guys.
