Description of Work: Gave my AC system an overall check-up. Found that a valve was not operating properly and strongly suggested that it should be replaced in order to cool my home consistently. Though the additional work was more costly than I had originally anticipated ($200), I felt that it was a fair cost and work that needed to be completed. I thoroughly trust Air Tech and have worked with them previously. They have worked extensively at the church where I serve part-time and have been much appreciated.

Description of Work: Old AC unit was failing and had to be replaced along with all of old duct work throughout a 2,600 sq ft home. Air Tech gave a very reasonable quote took the time to ask us what our goals were and then explained how each part of the system would work to ensure the highest energy savings and meet the goals for a comfortable, clean air home. The crew arrived right on time and worked throughout the day. The entire installation was completed and all areas of the house (including vents, floors, etc) were cleaned. By mid-afternoon the entire house was cool, clean and comfortable. Air Tech provided professional, timely and knowledgable service throughout the process. I will continue to call Air Tech for yearly maintenance and recommend them to all of my friends and neighbors.

Description of Work: They initially came out and told me I needed a new condenser. They turned off my a/c unit which caused us to sit in heat until a new company came. My home warranty company told me I needed to use another company. The other company came out and said the condenser was fine and they just had to change out some of the wiring. Air Tech begrudgingly gave me a refund.

Description of Work: I noticed that my AC is not running properly. I purchased the coupon and the technician came and checked my AC system. He found out that one of the part in the outside unit needs to be replaced. He was able to replace the part quickly. He also gave me advice on the type of filter I should be using.

Description of Work: AC wasn't cooling properly. Billy arrived earlier than he said he would and after checking one AC unit he checked our main Electrical power feed and determined that our problem was the result of an electrical issue.

Description of Work: On May 31st - They installed new coil with new transition with access door, plenum, collars with dampers, drain pan with emergency float switch. Ran both primary and secondary drains and made sure both were draining properly. Sealed the system and checked for air leaks and balanced air flow. Set new condenser outside with new disconnect box and whip. Pulled vacuum and charged system. Installed new thermostat. |The service went as scheduled and took about 4 hours. They arrived a little earlier than the set window with no call to let me know they were on their way. AC worked fine for several days, but then quit blowing cool air. They returned on June 3rd and determined there was a small leak that the charge was leaking out of. They were here about 1 1/2 hours determining the problem and making the fix. No charge for this return visit since their work is warranted for 1 year. |The only other issue I encountered is that they only left the owners manual for the thermostat (which I had to ask for). They are suppose to be mailing me the owners manual to the other new components, but as of this writing, I have not received anything. |
