Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning and Electrical

I bought my own Garbage Disposal and just wanted someone to install for me. It was $330+. I was too stunned to say no. I wish I had, but had to leave work early to get home and wanted it done. It took tech about 30 mins all told, he was professional service was great but not $600 an hour great.......

Very responsive and got the work done quickly.

Installed a hot water heater. Had to go get a part which took a while but he came back and did the job.

Abacus Plumbing was saved in our opinions due to fact they employ a very professional & personable guy named 'SONNY' ... which he literally is (so his Parents done good selecting his name:-)! Our plumbing repairs price tag rapidly went frm $185, $325, $675... $7200.00???!!! According to Abacus since r home was built in 1979, pipes were possibly already weak, plus massive trees on the property & toss in Hurricane-Henry = nearly rebuilding underground plumbing. long story short it involved several projects to complete needed repairs and in the end the guy who started project 'Sonny'>> returned after being pulled away tonother jobs> well he was REQUIRED TO FINISH THE PROJECT & EFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE WITH US! Honestly had it not been for him returning to get project back to where WE ALL ON SAME PAGE>> we'd not be recommending & boasting on behalf of ABACUS... The technician was extremely nice and knowledgeable. The problem was the charge. He replaced an outdoor faucet and charged us $230 with the $50 discount. He was only here for 30 minutes. We have purchased and outside faucet before and it was only $25 retail. I think this was an exorbitant charge. We do not plan to use them again.

Advised me to call manufacturer for equipment warranty; glad I did and they installed the equipment for me in August 2016.

Very personable. He fixed the pipes under bathroom faucet that another company installed years ago.

A/C repair. Abacus emailed technician's photo prior to arrival and confirmed arrival time, then followed up with a phone call. Darrell arrived on time and thoroughly inspected and repaired A/C as well as advising on future replacement of unit.

Had a failing garbage disposal on my outdoor kitchen sink. Found Abacus from Home Advisor. This company was on it. The company dispatchers kept us updated on the Technician arrival time - they called us a couple of times. That was impressive in itself. Josef Moran arrived to our house to fix the garbage disposal in our outdoor kitchen. He went down and hit a reset button hidden away and it started working immediately. This was 6:30 in the evening and he No Charged the visit since it was so quick. Josef single highhandedly gave me a feeling of instant credibility for Abacus. His attitude was awesome. He said he is the after-hour guy and loves to work. As a business owner myself, I would only tell Abacus to hold onto this guy. He is representing Abacus well. There is no doubt that we will be calling Abacus again. I highly recommend them.

Customer service conveying incorrect information on ability of the company to detect leaks for exterior water line. Cost of the project was very high.
