Absolute professionals. Under time and under budget. They even saved us from some of our own stupid mistakes. Best movers and packers in Houston. Period.

The company was incredibly accommodating given we had to change the date multiple times owing to changing closing dates on our home. The gentlemen who performed the actual move were careful (spreading mats on our hardwood floors and carpets). They had a can do attitude and were a joy to work with throughout the day. No request was too big which was saying a lot since they moved furniture from a second floor apartment to the second floor of a house all in five hours. Most important: NO DAMAGE!

This company is a first rate business. They moved VERY heavy & large furniture, twice, up & down stairs, without making one mark on my walls. They also stored the furniture for 3 months while we renovated our home. They took every precaution with protecting the furniture and moving it safely. Then they returned it in good condition. The movers were polite, courteous, professional and worked quickly. They were more careful then any moving company I've ever worked with. On the business side, they are professional and they stand by their word. In the process of this whole move-store-move, a very large and very heavy slab of marble cracked. It is a slab of marble that sits on our dresser. In spite of every attempt to protect it and move it gently, it cracked. Marble is not the most move-friendly material in the world. We discovered the crack while dusting the furniture, after the move. After an investigation and inspection of the marble, the company paid to have the marble replaced. Again, they were always professional and polite. They made a very stressful event manageable. We have been impressed with this company. If we ever need a moving company again, it will definitely be A Better Tripp Moving Company! We give them 5 stars!

The company did reach out to me in with the desire to make the bad experience better. I felt like they did want to correct what had gone wrong with the move. Along with sincere apologies, they credited me for the 3 hours of time wasted. I hope not to move again for a very long time. However, if I had to, I would give them another try.

I can't tell you how bad it was. The first day after the move the owner showed up at my door and wanted to be paid, Nick Musta. I started to open the boxes and found that all my jewelery was gone, 6 garment bags were gone or shredded. All my cashmere sweaters are gone. I have traveled all over the world and purchased jewelery, not super expensive but very sentimental, the whole box is gone. I have sat and cried. I found this service provider in the Angie's List magazine and am so very disappointed. Please beware.

The primary truck driver and leader of the operation arrived just before 8am with a large tractor trailer. I met him outside of the complex and helped guide him to the best place to park. Two other workers, who I presume are local to the Atlanta area, arrived separately a short time later and the crew began the job at 8:30am. The crew all knew each other and worked exceptionally well together throughout the day. They rarely ever stopped throughout the entire day. I bought lunch for the crew had to ask one of them to stop and so that his food wouldn't get cold! The truck driver was the leader of the operation and spent the entire day packing contents as well. All items were logged, properly tagged, professionally packed and loaded into the trailer. I was extremely satisfied. It took all day to pack and load my belongings and the truck literally drive out of here at 5:30pm. On the next day I received and email confirming that my credit card had been charged and indicating the amount that was charged. The cost for the move was very much in the neighborhood of what I was quoted. You have to be realistic about that as well. A condo's worth of contents can easily approach 5500 pounds of cargo when all is said and done. I should also mention that I have a lot of books. I packed them myself (27 boxes moved from my office to home) and that saved a lot of time and money. Had I asked them to pack the books it would certainly have taken more time and cost a lot more. What i would like to say to someone who has never done this before is to have realistic expectations about this process. You have to realize and respect the fact that these are hardworking blue collar guys who do this every day and have literally seen it all when it comes to moving people from their homes. The best thing to do is help them a little here and there when and where they need you and otherwise get the h*** out of the way and let them practice their craft. Moving is a messy and stressful process and at the of the day what these guys do best is eliminate your stress. You pay for it but it doesn't get any better than this unless you have a lot of help and can pack everything yourself in which case you could save.

This company was great. I would definitely use them again. They were by far the cheapest quote that I received to ship it. $50 of the total was the insurance I purchased to cover if it got completely damaged. The way I understood it works is that they pick up your item while they are in route and add it to someone else's shipment. They deliver it once it is on their way. Once we talked with Melvin and told him we wanted to have them move our piano we signed all the papers by email. It took 3-4 weeks before there was a driver going somewhat near where the piano was located. He called my cousin 20-24 hrs before he was going to be at her house. They loaded it on and were at my house 2-3 days later. They laid mats down and covered the piano up as they moved it in since it was raining outside. The men were very friendly and worked quickly. The only reason I gave a B for communication is because I felt like I was having to check in to see when a driver was going to be going in that area. They always answered the phone when I called and were very friendly to speak to as well! Thanks for shipping the piano!

We had Tripp move our 3 bedroom house into a storage facility until we close on our new home in Fort Worth next month. They sent a 3-man crew to do the job. They were on time, efficient, polite, and professional. The crew did an excellent job. They wrapped everything and were very careful with our belongings. I'm still waiting for a quote from Tripp for our move from the storage facility to Fort Worth, but I trust it will be forthcoming. If the quote is good (I'm hoping it will be), then I want the same crew...they were awesome!

They were punctual,professional,courteous and very obliging in every way They are the perfection of Customer Service Thank You guys for making my move so easy!!!!!

They provided 3 movers for our job, which was enough. They were very detailed when they wrapped the furniture, which was really important to my husband who has had another company tear his leather furniture. So I felt confident our big furniture would be protected. Because they were so thorough wrapping the furniture it took a little longer than other companies to load up, but I was okay with that knowing things were taken care of. The only thing I didnt like about that was some furniture had loose shelves in them (like dresser and cabinets) and they did not take the shelves out first. We lost a couple of pegs because of that. When we got to the new house (which by was a half mile away), it seems they rushed things a little more. I didnt see the same level of care, but i wouldnt call it careless. There were some dents on a dresser, a small gash in the wall on the stairs. When dropping boxes and furniture off in the study, they just placed it in the room with no sense (like placing the couch against the wall). Despite those few things, I think we will use this company again in the future. Much better experience than the last company we used.

We were very pleased with the services. Previously, we had used a different company for our first move in Houston, and it was awful and ended up costing more than we expected. With this company, it ended up costing less or the same as expected. They were very professional, and worked extremely quick. We got them food and tried to get them to take a break to eat it, and they wouldn't! They wanted to just work through. At the end, you fill out a survey that includes whether they took any breaks, and I'm guessing that is why they maybe didn't want to. They had to move the truck a few times to let cars through, and didn't show aggravation, even though I'm sure that had to be aggravating. They were also very careful to not scratch any walls or drop anything. Overall, I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others, especially after seeing how other companies can be truly awful and deceptive.

They had moved us out of our downtown apartment, came and packed everything and moved it into their storage. When the new house was ready, they brought everything to the new house,as well as bringing the contents of another storage locker. The whole move was well done. Packing was pro and good. They were on time, worked hard and fast. I could not have asked for better. I think the price reflects the high quality.

After posting a bad review, I was contacted by A Better Tripp. They were very apologetic about not contacting me and asked a chance to make it up. They came out the next day to give me a quote. They were the only company to actually come to my house before giving me a quote. We booked packing for one day and a four-man crew and two trucks for the next day's move. A Better Trip was very helpful, even letting us reschedule after our closing date moved. The packing crew was very efficient. The moving crew worked a very long day loading and unloading. I was pleased with their service and would recommend them. My only real complaint is that I shouldn't have to complain to get service. Original review: I tried to receive a moving quote from A Better Tripp in late August 2013 to pack and move into temporary housing. I submitted a form from their website and received an automated reply that I would have a quote within 48 hours. Two days passed and no quote. I went with a company that did get back to me but was not very pleased with them so I filled out a form again requesting a quote. Once again I received the automated reply but no quote. A Better Tripp has missed out on two large moves because they did not respond. I will be using a company that will respond instead.

They sent a two man crew and a 23 foot truck to my house in Austin. The crew was very quick and efficient. They were very careful with all of our belongings. They were done with the loading much faster than I had anticipated. They made excellent time back to Katy and waited patiently for me at the storage facility. The unload was just as quick and efficient. I think they stand a chance being world champion Tetris players if they can play Tetris as well as they packed that truck/storage unit. The only complaint I have is that I was requested an earlier contact on the day of the move (requested an ETA notice approx. 1.5 hrs before service, was contacted approx. 20 minutes before they arrived at house). No big deal. I was very satisfied with the service and the fair price provided by A Better Tripp. Good work guys! I plan on using them again as soon as we find a house in the Houston area!

They are fabulous. They were the best company to work with. They treated very expensive art work with care and nothing was broken. They were not the least expensive but it was well worth it. They wrapped and double wrapped everything with wrap and bubble wrap. I would use them again for any move in the future. They were on time and they were very professional. They unpacked my items as well. The money was well spent for the care and the quality of the service.

They did a good job and my sister used them at my recommendation and they did a fantastic job for her at a good price in moving and storage. Their price was really good.

The workers did a good job packing and brought my stuff in a timely manner. The company had poor communication but I had no problems with the workers. The workers arrived early and delivered the furniture before they were supposed to, but the company never informed me ahead of time. It added a lot more stress for me.

They did a great job. The employers were great and well chosen. They worked efficiently, wrapped my furniture, took care of my special requests. Overall I was very pleased with the service. Daryl and his crew did a wonderful job. They were very careful and particular. They even put cloth down in my new home before they brought in the furniture.

The service was awesome and the price was fair for the quality of work. They were on time, professional, and nothing was damaged during the move. However, we have not unloaded every box.

The movers were exceptional. They had the best attitudes, nothing was impossible and they were a "team" helping each other. These men's attitudes were incredible. They were very polite and respectful. Nick estimated that it would take 12 hours and the move took 11.5 hours. Be sure to ask for Nick when you call. Nick and his team of movers are a great asset to the company. I bought 4 pizzas for the 6 men and they did not want to eat much because they knew they had another 7 hours of work after eating. I would highly recommend A Better Tripp. Nick and his team of movers went beyond the call of duty. They will definitely move me next time.

They arrived at the appointed time, then got right to work..no lounging about or taking breaks...treated our belongings with love and care. The team was extremely courteous and friendly. this company isn't the cheapest but that is why I hired them..I have done the cheapest route before and was sorely disappointed. the office staff was courteous and helpful I WILL HIRE THEM AGAIN AND RECOMMEND THEM TO FRIENDS!!

All of my emails were answered quickly. On the day of the move the crew arrived 15 min early and were very polite and efficient. They cleared most of my 4 bedroom house in under 2 hours and nothing was broken or damaged.
