A Better Tripp Moving & Storage

We hired 3 movers. They were very careful. but a bit slower than expected. I called back and spoke to Mr. Tripp himself and he offered me a discount I was happy with. Overall, they were great. Most importantly, nothing was damaged.

They did a fantastic job. They were on time, professional, and had a very positive and helpful attitude. As an example, there were all these leftover hangers in the master bedroom closet and one of the guys organized them according to wood, plastic, wire, etc... and then showed me them and asked which ones I wanted to take. Whoever heard of a mover doing that? The owner came out to our apartment to give the quote in person and also took the extra effort to look at where we were moving to make sure the truck would fit since there was some construction in the front (and he did that before he came to see us). Would definitely use them again and would certainly recommend them. Best move I ever had.

The entire move went extremely well. The price was reasonable, the movers did a great job of protecting all of my items and packing them. They were also very professional and flexible with my schedule. I would highly recommend them.

Jose and his crew were fabulous. They treated my belongings with care and were extremely polite and punctual. I've never had an easier and less stress-filled move.

Excellent! From the time I phoned in for an initial estimate of the cost to do this job to the end, this was a good experience. The arrived at the home of the people I purchased the dining room furniture from on time. She had no complaints about how their service was on her end. They arrived at my home as expected. I had 3 heavy pieces of chinese antique furniture to move to the second floor, which they did with the utmost care. They moved one very large VERY heavy chinese antique cabinet, a 12 ft long chinese antique cabinet and a chinese antique marble-topped mah jongg table. Our stair case curves and there is a u-turn at the top. They were extremely careful and did not nick the walls or railings. After move that furniture upstairs, they carefully brought in the new dining room set and put it all together for me. There were no scratches, and the glass hutch was handled very carefully. I couldn't have been happier all around. They were punctual, professional, courteous and it was overall a great experience.

Went well. Would use them again. Everyhting was transported safely and nothing broke!

We have used their services twice. I spent about $1000. They were extremely detailed the first time. They did a decent job the second time and they didn?t break anything. They weren?t quite as detailed, but they still did a very nice job. We ended up getting a little confused with the dollar amount. The guy that runs the company called us because of the confusion, but we all worked together and it was fine. So, it was a good experience. I have some friends who have had really bad experiences with movers, but these guys did a good job. I called around a lot of places and their price was on par with everybody else. They were competitive. I would use their services in the future too.

This company did a wonderful job. They were very cautious when they were moving our things.

We contacted Better Tripp after reading good reviews on Angie's List. A representative came to our house and gave us an accurate estimate on our move. (Spring, TX to Montgomery, TX). They were able to schedule our move on the date we needed....and were able to adjust the schedule when I called. The movers (3) promptly arrived on time and began carefully preparing our items. They wrapped all wood furniture in drop cloths and wrapped with plastic. They wasted no time.... The movers accomidated our request and did not hesitate to answer any questions we had. They drove directly to our new home and began unloading. No items were damaged during the move. There were a few minor wall scratches on the stairway...but that was expected...considering the heavy items they had to move....up a winding stairway. Overall we were very pleased and would not hesitate to use Better Tripp again.

It went smoothly overall. All of the furniture was wrapped very well and none of our furniture was damaged. The movers were professional and took care with all the items. I've used this company for 4 moves, incrementally moving up from a 1 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom house. Each time I'm impressed with the professionalism and work ethic of the movers. I just let the movers get at it while I did other tasks around the house. The only knock is that they are a little more expensive (10-15%) than other movers. But you get what you pay for, in this case.

I called A Better Tripp on a Tuesday morning and was able to secure a move for the upcoming Saturday. I booked the appointment with Melvin, who was friendly and informative. I received a confirmation phone call the Friday night before, and the movers were actually around 15 minutes early at the first scheduled stop the following morning. Everyone was extremely professional, and both pianos were handled with care. One piano went into storage and it was tightly wrapped and we even purchased the moving blankets from the truck, for added protection. The entire process was efficient, and the whole move between three locations was complete in less than 4 hours. I would definitely use a Better Tripp for future move needs. They are one of the most efficient and professional movers I have ever dealt with! And I used them because of their positive feedback on Angie's List. Now I've been able to provide some positive feedback of my own!

They did a very good job. They showed up on time, packed quickly but carefully, and unloaded the same way. The job was done within the time estimate given. Good office contact and follow up.

I found this company on the internet. Emailed for a quote. They were almost half of what the other movers quoted. They picked up my piano in Scottsdale, AZ and had it to Kingwood, Tx in a week.

We had a little problem with the scheduling. I expected them in the morning, so I called to ask where they were. They were able to put together a crew and send them out by that afternoon. It all turned out fine. Their response to that situation was good.

Pre-move estimate seemed very reasonable, except the physical walk-through included only the apartment and not the storage unit. On move week, there was some confusion over the move date (they were off by a day...or it could have been my mistake) but thanks to their confirmation call, it was immediately corrected and the two-person crew arrived on time for packing. The crew was courteous and worked quickly. In fact, I don't think they even took a break. They finished packing by mid afternoon -- just a few hours over the estimate. The next morning the two packers and one more crew member arrived -- on time again -- at the storage locker to load. Then, off to the apartment where...ooops!...not everything fit on the truck. I wound up filling up my car twice to get the rest of my belongings to the new house. (To be fair -- the truck was just two Priuses shy of sufficient; the next-larger truck size probably would have been an 18-wheeler.) At the house, the crew unloaded and positioned everything just as asked and didn't nick a wall or scratch a floor in the process. They assembled heavy pieces of furniture (including a monstrous canopy bed). They were great guys and -- although I provided lunch and drinks -- I never saw them take a break. In the end, I think the $1800 pricetag was fair. But I have to lower the Price grade because it was twice the estimate. Overall, though, A Better Tripp did a fabulous job with my move.

I had time constraints for this move. They accommodated my needs. The service was wonderful. The movers were excellent. They got the boxes and packed the belongings. They bought it all into the apartment. All furniture was in tip-top shape--no damages. They put the mirror on my dresser even. They were kind enough to help me rearrange my furniture once it was delivered to the destination. It was just the best moving experience I ever had. I highly recommend A Better Tripp.

They arrived an hour late however, the 4 gentlemen crew was wonderful and efficient; however, since no salemen made an effort to come to our home beforehand to provide an estimate, the job took much longer than expected since we had much more to move than the crew had anticipated. The four guys were exhausted by the end of the move. They could have actually utilized a couple more men but no one knew. An estimated 4 to 5 hour move took 10 hours !! The move was from a 3000 Sq.Ft home to a 4000 Sq.Ft. home.

The experience overall was excellent. Men arrived on time, they arrived with all necessary materials. They packed everything that we asked and did an excellent job. They loaded and unloaded the truck efficiently. They wanted to make sure that everything was placed in the correct rooms at the new home. I have moved many times and I would rate this company and employees as the best I have seen.

The process couldn't have been easier. The movers showed up on time at the first location, made good time loading everything into the truck and took great care with the furniture. Picked up items at the second location and then unloaded at our new home. They did a great job, were very friendly and most importantly were very careful with our belongings. If I ever need to move again, I know who I'll be calling.

On the scheduled day, their tractor trailer broke down and I was left scrambling at the last minute. I found another company to do the job for me. I was kind of upset with A Better Tripp, but the owner called me back in two days and apologized profusely. He asked if he could anything for me, and I told him that he could move two of my pianos; the other company didn?t do that. He did that free of charge. He made amends and I appreciated that. He went out of his way to do this for me. Given the circumstances, the situation was out of their hands and they tried to recover well. They were supposed to have charged me $140 an hour for three people. It was a little higher than others, but I can?t say if it is worth it or not because I didn?t use them for the regular move. The people that moved my pianos were extremely careful. They were on time and responsive. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

I would definitely use them again. They did an excellent job & no damage was done to our belongings. They were very professional, timely & friendly.

We chose the company based on Angie's list reviews (consistently good reviews with the owner engaging in many of the comments, good or bad) and BBB check. Our phone interactions were good, folks at the office were knowledgeable but not pushy. We just needed an in-house move so it was relatively easy. They called ahead the day before and then again the morning of the move and showed up right when they said they would, ready to go. The guys were friendly and professional and did exactly what we asked them to do. Every one of the team was careful with our stuff and our new floors which we appreciated. Then they checked in afterward to see how it went. The only downside was that we had to reserve a 3 hour minimum time because it was on a weekend which some of the other companies did not require. They were clear about this up front though, so there were no surprises and at the end of the job the charge was exactly what we expected. In the end we decided to pay a bit more based on the company's reputation and we were not disappointed. Will definitely use them again on our next move.

Both moves went very well. The driver and the company went out of their way to pick up and move the items in Tulsa and deliver them on the date that we requested. The driver and his helper were very careful with the items and I don't think anything was broken in the move. We were very satisfied and would use them again.
