A Better Tripp Moving & Storage

We used A Better Tripp in 2011 and had excellent results from the crew. For our 2012 move we requested the same crew we had in 2011 but were sent a different crew. The 2012 crew was not thorough or efficient. Too often I had to ask them to wrap items better, etc. Several items were damaged when they arrived at our destination. Although A Better Tripp provided claims forms and promptly paid for damages, we prefer to have our belongings arrive undamaged. Since we had such good results on our first move we were extremely disappointed with our 2012 move.

The movers were prompt and polite. They worked diligently until the move was completed. None of my belongings were damaged. The final charge was lower than the estimate. Would definitely use them again.

The brought in a big truck but did not bring the ladder as requested and used blankets on my furniture to avoid damage. Punctual on time and fast

A three man crew showed up on time and ready to work. These young men were courteous and hard-working. They knew their job and wasted little time. The house was professionally packed in the time frame stated. We met the same crew the next morning 300 miles away. They actually beat us to our new home. They unpacked and put every piece where it needed to be. We were happy to spring for lunch for their return trip to Houston. My wife and I would recommend A Better Tripp Moving & Storage to anyone needing a fair priced, professional company.

The move went extremely well, beyong our expectations. The 4- man, 2-truck crew was fast, professional, courteous, and professional. The job was completed in a single day, under budget. I watched the piano move with great concern/interest, and it was obvious the crew had done this many times before. Overall we were very, very pleased.

Spoke to Melvin who promised the furniture would be here before Christmas, and true to his word, it was. Furniture was picked up in Florida and delivered in Texas. Driver, Rosell and helper were excellent. Nothing was damaged and they were very careful handling everything. Took their time wrapping or boxing everything and loading, and were equally as good unpacking. Extremely professional and I will be using them for any future moving needs. Thanks Melvin and all involved that made this a pleasant experience!

Overall it was a smooth move without drama.

The most impressive part was that some of this furniture was literally massive furniture, with a very heavy bedroom as well as my whole office moved into the upstairs. Given that the stairway going upstairs does an almost immediate 90 degree turn, I was almost sure they would tell me there was no way the desk was going there. A little later I heard a little pounding going on upstairs so I went to see what it was. They were putting the hinge pins back in the office door. They had gotten everything I wanted up those stairs and around those bends and into the rooms we wanted everything in, without a single scratch anywhere on either house, or on the furniture itself. I would absolutely use these guys again!! Way to go Tripp Moving!

Overall it was a good experience. They gave a good price on their estimate and basically hit the projected dollar amount. There was some back and forth on the agreed to rate, the service providers didn't have the right price in the bill which almost led to an overcharge, but it was caught and fixed. Also there was some discussion on the pace the movers were working, sometimes they seemed to be moving too slowly. However they were careful, which is the most important thing, and though there was some damage, especially to a very expensive piece of furniture that can be fixed. I'd hire them again and would refer them to a friend.

This was the best moving experience that we've ever had. We have moved four times in the last eight years and I really wasn't looking forward to another move. But this company changed my mind about moving companies. Allen Beaulieu came out to our old house and gave us an estimate. He was very thorough and professional. On packing day, the packers arrived on time and went right to work. They were very good and took great care in packing our things safely and thoroughly. On moving day, they used two moving trucks with two, two man crews. Everything went like clockwork. The workers did an excellent job and took great care in making sure our furniture was loaded properly and that nothing was broken. Once both trucks were fully loaded, they proceeded to our new house. Once at the new house, our furniture and household goods were professionally unloaded. The workers set up all of our furniture and unpacked all of our boxes. Nothing had been damaged or broken. At the end of the day I looked at my wife and said, "now that's how a move should take place". I highly recommend A Better Tripp Movers. They are simply the best. Hopefully we won't be making a move for a while, but if we do, you can rest assured that I would be using them again.

Everything went as expected. All costs were known up front. The workers were careful with the furniture and were very showed every courtesy. I would definitely use them again, and highly recommend them.

They packed all items up, loaded on their moving van and transported them to another state. They unloaded and unpacked and place them per asked. Outstanding service.

Good crew. They did a fairly good job. Some furniture damaged. After I instructed the movers to not attempt to move my dinette through the door without removing the legs they did so anyway, damaging the table and legs. A furniture repair man came by about 10 days later to touch up the damaged wood. Other minor damage that was all repaired. These guys were fast, courteous and thorough. In all a good move for me. I will use these guys again.

Allen Beaulieu was excellent! He was very responsive to my phone calls and e-mails, he also showed up EXACTLY on time for the in-home walk-thru. Unfortunately, with my tight deadline to get moved, he wasn't able to work out the logistics to get me 2500 miles in just the next week. Allen, however, really came through! He found another moving company, and they were able to take care of me. He even gave them his estimate for his walk-thru so I didn't have to do another one. I would DEFINITELY recommend this moving company to anyone! I mean, I didn't pay them anything, and he still showed me exceptional customer service, even calling for a follow up later to make sure the company he recommended took care of me! Arrived on time. Efficient crew. Friendly. Care given to my belongings. Set up furniture as requested. This was a trip from an apartment to my home, about fifteen minutes between them. Large amount of work, took eight hours, but all the crew was pleasant to work with throughout.

I was nervous about hiring a moving company because I have had bad experiences; the more I researched, the more nervous I became as I read about nightmare stories. And besides the move, I knew I would need to store my belonging for several months. There was nothing to worry about with A Better Tripp Moving & Storage. This group is extremely professional from the sales and quote group to the local movers and the long-distance crew. These are people that care about their work and the clients they serve. Every single item taken out of my place in Houston was safely delivered to my new home in Arkansas. The price quoted was exactly the price I paid and was extremely reasonable for the high quality of service I received. We were very pleased with this company and their work. We had 4 crew and 2 trucks to do this local move and the crew arrived within 1/2 hour of the scheduled window. They were very pleasant and ready to go immediately on arrival. They worked well as a team, efficiently loading both trucks with a mixture of furniture and boxes. At the destination, they were extremely careful in getting things into the house (both protecting the goods as well as the home) and we were finished in (what we felt) was good time. Overall, a very positive experience from start to finish.

The sales manager did not show up to our appointment. I received no notice, and when I called to complain, the office staff just made excuses. Rather than work with my schedule to make up for the error - they complained about the time. I would think a professional business want to work with an inconvienenced customer, not push them off. FIRST, don't lie and say someone tried to contact me when they didn't. I have no emails, and my phone does have caller ID for incoming calls. SECOND, it's not that hard to call for help/back-up when it's needed. FINALLY, rather than trying to make things right - the officer manager was rude to me.
