A Better Tripp Moving & Storage

I contacted them to move some items from a garage in San Antonia TX to an Apartment in Los Angeles CA. They did an excellent job of showing up and loading the boxes and moving the items without us being there. Their price was reasonable and service was excellent. The drivers even came back as one picture was left on the truck much later that day!

Crew was excellent - they showed up right on time, worked efficiently, were very professional, and very careful with my things. Anything not in a box was wrapped in blankets and protected with plastic wrap - nothing got broken, marked, scratched, or otherwise damaged. I have moved more times than I care to count and these movers were among the best I have ever hired. I would absolutely recommend them, and I would definitely hire them again. All charges were clearly explained when I booked, and there were no surprise charges at the end.

The job went very well. They packed on one day and came back and moved and unloaded the next day. They were very punctual. They packed very well, not one thing was broken. The crew was very cordial.

They did not do a very good job at estimating the cost. Did not like that they came back after everything would not fit in one truck and charged us an additional $1700.00. I guess that is how they can come in with a cheaper estimate over other movers.. The actual movers were polite and respectful of our property. However, we were told that they would come in and pack one day, and do the loading the next. The packers/movers came, and told use they were going pack and load at the same day. We were not expecting this. At 10:00 PM, after packing and loading for 13 hours. The truck was full, and there was still a lot to pack and load. We had no where to stay, and had to still pay for the hotel in our new location after th movers told us at 2:00 PM they were going to finish, which they did not. Did not like having then to find a "roach" motel miles away from old house for the night. BTW, NEVER stay at a Super 8 motel! The company and the actual movers should of been on the same page!!!!

The crew was very dedicated and attentive. We had a couple of tight fits with furniture in the new house and they were very creative in recommending methods to place the heavy items where we had planned. It involved removing some doors from the hinges but they did it quickly and efficiently, then replaced the doors when they were done. A Better Tripp was the best part of our move.

I called and spoke with Tom a couple weeks before the move. Since I was no longer in Houston to allow them to do a walk-through I sent an itemized list of my apartment contents. Tom was very friendly and prompt. He got back to me quickly with a bid and followed up several times to check on me. Unfortunately the price was just too far off from the other bids I got and out of my price range. I would have loved to have worked with them, but I just couldn't quite stretch my budget to accommodate it. A few days before I was scheduled to move I got a call that I would be able to move the date of my move to the weekend instead of a Monday. I called Tom to see if there was any way they could accommodate me, since the movers I had chosen could not. He tried very hard to find some way to help, but unfortunately they did not have any availability (my move was around the 1st of the month.) My experience was certainly very pleasant, and at the very least I would give A Better Tripp the opportunity to win my business again. Thank you so much Tom! The move still went smoothly, but I appreciate all your help!!

The movers were on time and professional. Our move was relatively small, and it took about two to two and a half hours. This falls within their three hour minimum for the base charge, and we weren't charged any extra. We are tight on money for the move so I appreciated the fact that the three guys worked quickly so we did not go over that three hour mark. The guys were friendly and were good about putting boxes and furniture wherever we wanted it to go, in whichever room. None of our items were damaged. We have a lot of antiques and old books and they were cautious with them, as well as a few paintings. Overall I feel like it was a great deal. The man I spoke with on the phone to organize the whole thing (I'm sorry, I forgot your name!) was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. I chose them because of their reviews on Angie's List and was not dissappointed!

From the time we contacted them for information regarding our particular needs, the team did an amazing job with all of our needs. We were so impressed and appreciative of the time and care they showed with wrapping and protecting all of our furniture etc The moving crew was top notch...professional and very hard workers.

The move went very well. It started out by Allen coming out to the house evaluating the job at hand and made some very good reccomendations. His crew showed up on time and protected my furniture very pprofessionaly. I will reccomend them in the future.

Life can get complicated when you inherit a vintage Mason & Hamlin baby grand piano over 800 miles away. Bad things can happen, and you only get once chance. We started by reviewing the movers featured in Angie?s List. After a few calls, A Better Tripp Moving stood out and they quickly accommodated our limited timeline. On the day of the move, we had no idea how two people were going to safely move such a large and heavy piece safely. The guys were outstanding and in complete control. They worked quickly and carefully with all the items, but took extreme care with the piano. We couldn?t stop taking pictures of their efforts. Five days later, they arrived at our front step and delivered the piano gently over Spanish tiles and maneuvered it carefully into place. If and when we move again, I can assure you we will call A Better Tripp.

I initially used this company sometime in early January-2013. I used the company to pack furniture and household goods from my elderly Aunt home, then move all items to a storage facility. The total cost was $1500.00+. But this was a very sensitive situation because the home was in poor condition (Hoarder issues). The overall process took 2 days. (1st day to pack (8 hours) , 2nd day to move the items from the home to the storage facility. There were 3 men and they were very compassionate dealing with my Aunt's situation and they took their time handling the items to make sure nothing was broken. They worked fast and didn't even take a Lunch break (either day). This took a lot of stress off me. I can't tell you how pleased to see the dedication and good service they provided. So when I need some furniture pieces and other items removed from the storage facility and taken back to my Aunt's home, I didn't hesitate to use this company again. This cost was $450.00+. Although there were different Guys the 2nd time, they did a great job also. I would highly recommend this company again.

The crew came on time Monday morning and packed all of our things from our 3 bedroom home and storage buildings onto the truck! They were very courteous, efficient, and treated our things as if they were their own! I had a huge and heavy mirror I was VERY concerned about moving and they took extra special care of it! I have not written a review before now because I lost the names of the crew members and I wanted to specifically name them because they were awesome! They took the loaded truck late in the afternoon back to the company dock until morning to make the trip. They were to leave in early morning (3:30 a.m), but ended up leaving later. The head office checked on us along the way and connected us with the crew, so we knew when to expect their arrival.I had heard so many horror stories of moving companies, but this was a good experience and I would use them again!

My first point of contact with the company was ALLEN BEAULIEU. From a customer service perspective, he was VERY helpful and was able to address all my questions and concerns. He was prompt when sending the information and followed up to ensure that we would be comfortable with the process. On the day of the move, the team arrived on time, in fact they were a little early...they consisted of MIGUEL, NELSON, JOSE AND NIKKO. They immediately got to work packaging and moving our furniture. They were very careful to protect the floors and the furniture that they moved with respect to both homes. They were extremely efficient and with the amount of furniture that we had, we felt that the cost for this job was very reasonable. Every piece of furniture arrived with absolutely no damage. They worked so hard, in fact, I never saw them take a break. Moving can be a very "painful" experience...I can honestly say, we had absolutely NO issues with the company. My husband and I would rate them an A+ and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Superb. We had a complex move, originating in Austin, Texas, with deliveries to Indiana and Michigan. Allen was extremely helpful and responsive in helping us organize the move, and Rosell and Emilio did an excellent job packing, loading and shipping the goods, without a hitch. I would give A Better Tripp the highest recommendation.

The move went smoothly. A representative called 1-2 days before to confirm details. The men arrived on time. The truck was quickly loaded. It was a short drive to the new home. Unloading was quick and efficient. A supervisor.showed up to observe for a short period. The move was completed within the estimated time.

A better tripp shipped my furniture from Houston to New York for a good price, in just a few days and with no problems. The people who picked it up were the ones who transported it and later unloaded it. All of the people I interacted with were polite, accountable and professional and I would recommend them for anyone shipping between Houston and the east coast.

Fine, except I still don't know delivery date!

Called Better Tripp to move to another house. The whole experience went very smoothly from booking to the final moving. Three guys showed up and they got the job done quickly. No furniture was damaged and things went very well. I would totally use this company again.

They were very reasonably and comparably priced. They were very professional and handled things with care. They eliminated some chores for me. They kept all of the agreements. They communicated very clear about what needs done and what doesn't need done. They had one small slip, but they handled it quickly. We dealt with Alan. He and his crew were very great from the estimate to the completion of the job.

I called the guy and Marvin showed up. He kind of walked through the house, but I did not see him take any detailed notes. He said he would email me an estimate by the evening and I did not get one. I called him twice the next day and managed to get to him. He said there was a hold u p and he got me an estimate late that day. It was 3 times as much as the mover I ended up using.

This was a very good experience. We had heard some negative experiences with movers but we were very happy with this company. The guys came out right on time, packed everything super secure with wrapping tape and moved everything to our new location in a timely manner. They provided carpet protection in our new home and everything arrived safely to the location. Once there they put everything in the room of preference and offered to assemble anything needed. My husband opted to assemble but we felt confident that had we chose they would have done a great job. They were very friendly and accommodating. We would most definitely use them again in the future for any moving needs and have no problem recommending them to friends and family.
