Diamond Quality Services

I had Diamond Quality Services out to do some work on my house. They did a great job - however we did have one problem but the owner made an appointment with me to address my concerns and fixed the issues. They were not big things just some little house keeping issues and I flet that the owner was a little embarrased by the issue. I know that things are not always going to be perfect but Diamond Quality Services addressed my problems and took care of me. I would use them again.

They were on time serviced my three units. Did a very good job I would use them again.

Overall went well. Serviced our outside compressor, fixed some wiring and provided an estimate for future energy efficiency work to be done at a future date. Great job!

Everything went well, they did everything they said they would! They were very helpful over the phone also.

It was good. I felt like they were professional. They did the good deal, but then found a lot of stuff that they needed to charge an additional $300 to fix. I do not know if this work was really needed or not.

The service turned out to be not so good. They were swamped with business and in a huge hurry. I had a different company come and do follow up work after they left as the guy who came out was on the phone the whole time and only at my home for a short time and for all the things that they listed they were going to do for two air conditioners, I don't feel they were at my home long enough to do the service.

My air conditioner is working great now. I was happy with his work.

Fine overall. Came back 2 months later & replaced a compressor under warranty. Very prompt in coming out & making repairs quickly and efficiently in the heat of summer. Very personable & helpful - saved the day for my sister.

My gas heater would not operate. The technician discovered a loose connection in the furnace and made the simple repair. The "Angie's List" discount made the $49 service call "money well spent" !!!

They showed up on time and left early. I guess I got what I paid for. All the other Angie's bargins treated the job like it was full-price.

The service technician performed a complete inspection on the a/c system and determined that it was slightly low on freon (which I already knew to be the case.) He replenished the system for no extra charge even though the total needed was a half pound over what was included in the Big Deal coupon that I bought. The Technician was very knowledgeable and made great suggestions as to what did and did not need to be done to the system based on it's age and planned future work. The technician did a great job of explaining things in an understandable manner (I did not let him know how much I really know about HVAC systems and preventative maintenance) and making only recommendations for needed repairs and suggesting ways that I could save money by being more efficient in how I used the system. I knew when I bought this house a year or so ago that the HVAC system was only going to last another year or two, but he suggested a few maintenance practices that can probably extend that by at least another year, but when it does come time to replace the system I am pretty sure I know who I will be calling to get the job done. Diamond Quality Services has my vote of confidence. Please note that I gave this company an "A" in punctuality because they actually arrived early for the scheduled appointment. Some people might be temped to mark a company down for being early, but I try and live by an old motto of the touring theatre industry: "Early is on time, on time is late." It might be slightly inconvenient for some people to have someone show up early for an appointment, but I for one am happy to live with it.

Another HVAC contractor told me I needed an new system, Diamond came in and told me the truth - I only needed a new fan motor. The tech was polite and efficient - left to get the part, returned and installed in less than 2 hours. Recently, I asked for an inspection for duct cleaning. The owner of Diamond inspected my system thoroughly and told me I didn't need it. He spent 45 minutes inspecting & explaining to me why, then asked no fee. Honest, thorough, professional, fair & responsible.

Spoke with Rita on the phone to set up an appointment. She is incredibly pleasant to talk to, very very friendly. Scott then came out a day or two later, very punctual. He crawled up in the attic and gave me the bad news that all of the duct work that supplied the original part of the house was in complete disrepair. My wife and I were prepared for it as we had just recently purchased the house and several other contractors that had been up in the attic informed us that the duct work was bad news. Scott and his guys came out early September 13th and worked a full day and then returned again the next morning and finished up around lunch. They took the time to take me up into the attic to show me all of the problems and why it was important to get things fixed, updated and working properly. I feel that our house is so much more efficient and that I am no longer over working my AC units. Can't wait to save money in the long run after having this work done. Scott and his crew were very informative and helpful. I know where I will be going for all of my future AC/heating needs. I can't thank the Diamond team enough!

They did a really good job. He came on time. They were very respectful of my property and put on footies. They did more than expected. They went the the extra mile.

I am still a little in shock at how pleasant my experience was. I have never dealt with contractors before as my husband usually handles that, but in his absense I had no choice, with no cold air and a 2 year old. From my first call to Rita to my actual service call (I am so embarrassed I forgot his name) they went above and beyond what they had to do. Its rare these days to find people who actually care about their customers and are honest. He did an amazing job explaining things and offering options and suggestions. Never once did he try to force me to buy extra services and actually gave great tips. Diamond Quality Service is truly in a class of their own and I will be using them again!

Did not try to sell me services or extras that I do not need.

I was very pleased with his knowledge and expertise. His honesty was above reproach. I did not have the additional insulation added but would hire him for the job in the future.

This was an Angie's List Big Deal. The Big Deal email arrived yesterday morning. I'd had problems in the past with a HVAC service contract with an Angie's List "A-lister" so wanted to try a different one. I paid the money, got the email, and called Rita at Diamond Quality Services. She asked when would be convenient and I said any time. So she set it up for an hour from then. Aaron pulled up in front of the house within one minute of the scheduled time. I opened the furnace closet for him. He pointed out that there was water sitting in the tray under the water heater. It was due to the condensation drain plugging up and the tray drain being improperly plumbed to it. He proceeded to check out the relatively new Trane gas furnace. I was pleased with his familiarity with the touch-screen thermostat. Everything checked out fine so he went to the garage to the attic access. Within a short time, he was back down and explained the advantages and disadvantages of my solid steel ducts. Also said the insulation on them was in good shape. Not bad for 45 years old. He left, the total visit just over half an hour. I proceeded to flush out the plugged drain. I consider the Big Deal price to be just slightly better than normal. The going rate (with A-list companies) for an annual contract that includes spring and fall checkups is about $160. So the $69 is $11 less for the one visit. But it was still a good value.

Scott checked my air conditioning system and made sure that it was holding the coolant and working properly.

They were prompt, friendly, professional and did a great job.

The technician that came was very thorough in his check. He was also very open about and thorough in explaining exactly what he was doing.

The Tech was quite professional in his approach. Quite satisfied with the tuning. REcommended.

Two service personnel arrived punctually as agreed. They checked both inside and outside components of air conditioning systems. Check appeared to be thorough and professional. They were friendly and answered questions fully. I would use them again.

I don't remember all the details at this point, but wanted to leave a positive review because I felt so good about their service. Sorry I can't be more specific.
