They came out late and didn’t call until after he was late. I wasn’t happy with the way the situation was handle in terms of the doing additional service and I felt like their coupon was a little misleading.

En excellent first time experience both with Angie's List and Diamond Quality Services. Many companies know what they're doing but have no customer service skills. Other companies can be very attentive to the customer but have no clue about what they're attempting to repair, Diamond Quality Services provides the best of both. The technician, Brandon, called first and arrived when he promised. He was very professional and friendly. Inspected the unit, added coolant and even took a couple of minutes to answer some questions I had about the unit and the attic duct work. As I said, this was my first experience with Angle's list and Diamond Quality Services and I will definitely be using both again in the future.

I was very pleased by the responsiveness of Diamond Quality Services. They live up to their name. Called them on a sweltering Saturday evening, received a callback from the owner Rita on Sunday morning, followed up by a call on Sunday evening to re-confirm service on Monday morning. They don't work weekends, but they sure do callback...impressive. I was given an afternoon appointment, but the technician failed to show. After about 45 minutes, I called Rita, who tracked down her employee, returned a call to say he was on the way and apologized profusely for the delay due to complications in the previous service call. The tech. Brandon showed within 5 minutes of hanging up, also apologized and said he should have called his boss to say he was running late. Brandon was courteous and professional. He performed various tests and identified a non-functioning capacitor that should have lasted longer than 8 years. Apparently it was 'builder's grade', and they (the builder) tend to go as cheap as possible on parts. All this took under 10 minutes including part replacement. Brandon did not think I needed the Air Duct Inspection based on the filter condition, but I would have liked him to have performed the service as stated on the coupon: "$69 service call for Angie's List members (normally $90) includes free Air Duct Inspection". The new part cost $174 and the coupon for a service call was $69, but $10 was knocked off for the inconvenience of waiting past the appointment time. I think it was great value and will definitely use them again and recommend to others. One area of improvement would be communicating delays when unable to make the appointment time.

Diamond Quality Services were very good. He was very professional and punctual.

I was happy with the service, basic tune up and adding freon. I wish the technician would have worn booties as I had to vacuum up dirt after he left. But with a cold a/c I was willing to overlook that!

It went really well. I had to pay more, because I had more work done. I would use them again.

They had to reschedule once because of the weather but they were really quick in scheduling the initial appointment. There was one guy that came out. Nothing really stood out. Nothing was wrong in our system, it was all operating the way it was supposed to. It took him about 20 minutes to do the job.

Fabulous service call --- took about one hour, right on time, very friendly and professional. Was able to discuss a/c in excellent vocabulary with work-related terminology. Have to say that this was A+ Service that the Customer Service classes hold up as the "Gold Standard". I intend to give Diamond Quality Services all my a/c related business going forward, plus I will highly recommend them to my family and my friends. This is my first experience with Angie's List, and I feel that I've gotten fair value already early in the game for my entire year of dues. Their A rating on this company was right on the money and did not exaggerate. Thanks for your excellent Service, Angie's List and Diamond Quality Services!!!

It turned out great! It was quick. The technician was polite and it was an overall good experience!

I wasn't there at the time, but my friend said that the serviceman said we had too much coolant in the system, and he brought it down to the right level. Since the coupon included 2 lbs. of free coolant, it did set off warning bells, but it was done and may have been perfectly legitimate. Last winter I had someone else do the furnace check and was so impressed with their knowledge and integrity that I will probably use them for both A/C and heat going forward. Hence my "No" answer to using them again. If there were a "maybe" choice, I think it would be a more fair reflection of how I feel.

Overall, went great and we'd use them again. When we first called around, they (like everyone else) quoted 1-2 days. However, we got a call a couple of hours later and they said they were going to have a tech in the area, would that work for us (YES!) Tech came over, immediately found the problem (burned-out capacitor), then ran down the part and had us up and running in under 30 minutes! Great service, will definitely use again.

Our main 5 ton unit started making horrible noises when we would tried to switch it on. Called Rita, who was wonderful, and explained my dilemma including the fact we have our elderly mother living with us currently and we need to keep her comfortable. She dispatched Brandon in short order who diagnosed the problem, explained what was needed, and got the necessary replacement parts to get the unit operating again. He was very courteous and could not have been more pleasant to deal with. Overall, a great experience and would utilize them again.

That was good. They did a good job even though I need to get it done again. I guess you need to get it done every year. They were professional and only charged the Big Deal price. I actually wasn't here, my mom was, but she said they did a good job.

They were a delight to deal with. From the phone call in talking to Rita, to Scott and the technicians coming out, it all was very pleasant and the whole process went very smooth. Everything they did was explained to me. They showed up on time and were courteous and professional. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Service technician arrived right on time and explained everything he would be doing, and while doing the tune up/cleaning of my A/C unit, discovered the main drain line was stopped up and needed to be cleaned out. He quickly got to work cleaning the lines out after giving me an estimate on the cost of the additional work. Once the interior work was finished, he went outside and began working on the outside unit, and discovered a higher reading than normal with the freon. He didn't have the additional equipment needed to do a complete diagnostic on the unit to determine if there was a problem, so he rescheduled another appointment for later that evening for another tech to come back out to finish up. The actual owner of the company came out to finish working on the outside unit, and after finishing the tune up and testing it, he found nothing further wrong with the unit and gave it a clean bill of health for the summer.

He quickly went through the inspection. He said that he would send us an email with recommendations. The recommendations totalled $6000.00. I felt that I could not trust this, since it was so high. I had another company come out to inspect it. They took me out and showed me that the outside air conditioner was very dirty and they cleaned it. In addition, they found a leak in the system and recommended a new coil for one of the units. The price would be approximately $2500.00. I felt that I wasted my money with this company with the inspection.

They did fine. They showed up when they said they would. They did what they were suppose to do. I did not have any issues.

My air conditioner quit working today and it was 90 degrees outside:( I called Diamond Quality Services after reading their reviews on Angie's List. I spoke with Rita who is a real gem. She told me that she would let Brandon know that I needed service and he would give me a call with his approximate time of arrival. From the time of my call to Brandon's arrival, it was less than 2 hours. He called me to tell me what time he would be here and he actually arrived a bit earlier than he estimated. Brandon was absolutely wonderful, courteous, knowledgable, and professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly, gave me a estimate that was accurate and fixed my air conditioning promptly. I had several other questions about my unit and even my heating. Even though it was past 5 p.m., and I didn't want to keep him too late, he answered all of my questions and went above and beyond in taking care of my air conditioning unit and addressing all of my concerns. He never made me feel like I was asking unnecessary questions. (I do ask a lot of questions). I absolutely recommend this company. I am a person who believes that good customer service is vital and both Rita and Brandon are excellent. I would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to others needing air conditioning work. I did fear that the cost was going to be a bit high as it is the middle of the summer and after 5 p.m. However, I am quite pleased with the amount charged. As I type, my house is cooling down. What a wonderful feeling!!!

Well, all I needed was maintenance.

I just wanted to have my a/c unit inspected for the coming summer season. After buying a 'deal' on Angieslist for $69 offered by ANOTHER provider (I will be writing a review on that company also!), I was told my a/c unit was a pound low on freon. I called Diamond Quality Services for a "second opinion." They were running an offer on Angieslist for $119 for an inspection which included up to two pounds of freon. I called and spoke to Rita who is "on top of it!" She's very efficient and responds quickly, and she got me on the schedule within a week. Brandon came out and checked everything and was very knowledgeable and explained that I was definitely NOT down a pound of freon. He did get a reading that was abnormal and called the owner, Scott, to verify his findings. The evaporator coil, which was installed in 1998, was extremely dirty and moldy (he slid his iPhone in and took a picture so I could see it), and said I could either have it cleaned for $475 or have a new one installed for $1,400. He explained that in order to clean it, the lines would have to be cut to remove it because of its location above the furnace (which would damage the furnace), and there was no guarantee it would not sustain further damage from cleaning and removing it. I decided to get a new coil. I scheduled it, Scott came out on time, installed it without issue, and even did some minor adustments to a couple of registers for me. He also gave me 5% off for cash (check)! The other company tried to talk me into a entirely new system for $4,500. My a/c unit outside is only four years old. But he told me I was at least a pound of freon down and that with old systems (R22) being more and more difficult to get and therefore, getting more and more expensive, that I should either get the pound of freon and keep replacing it due to a leak, or get a new system. When I asked how much for the freon, they quoted me $268!!!! That's right, $268 for a pound of freon! Probably because I'm a woman, they thought they could pull a fast one on me! This is the reason I called Diamond. They quoted me a price of around $75...someone in there. Quite a difference! So that's when I figured I would take advantage of their offer of an inspection for $119, which INCLUDED up to two pounds of freon! That way, I'd be saving about $150 and I'd get another inspection! As I stated above, it didn't even NEED freon! I would highly recommend Diamond Quality Services to anyone looking for an owner who is honest, didn't try to oversell me, and obviously has very high integrity. Now I understand why this company has such high ratings on Angieslist!

They were really nice and responsive, but I felt like they didn't meet the needs I had when it came to addressing my issues.
