went very well. the technician was knowledgable and explained what we was trying to do. he looked at the ac and quickly figured what was wrong. he added 1.5 lbs of freon. he was also punctual. similar good experience with the lady who scheduled the call (rita). overall reasonably happy and will recommend to others

This was part of a Big Deal from Angie's List. The original description of the job said that access to water (such as a bathroom sink should be within 50ft, which was the case, however, after the technician reviewed the situation he informed me that the access would have to be through my water heater which more like 80 ft away, and required some tricky routing. This would essentially double the cost of the job and might be a source of a water leak in the ceiling in the future. I determined that the complexity of the job would be much more than initially implied and decided against the project. There was some confusion as to when the the estimation would be done; I assumed that the company would contact me while they actually were waiting for me to contact them. The installer technician was very honest and informative about the scope of the task and my alternatives. After purchasing a cheap humidistat, I determined that I did not have a humidity deficiency problem anyway so I did not need a system humidifier. I elected to use a room humidifier as needed; this gave me more precise control, was much cheaper and did not present potential problems with running a water line in my attic and injecting water into my air handler plenum.

The technicians tracked mud and grease all throughout my carpet. They didn't put down any protection on the carpet. Although they said they would get my carpet cleaned, I declined and just wanted them out of my house.

It went exceptionally well. Diamond repaired & replaced our AC & heating system, including work in attic, all duct work & outside unit. A previous AC company did work in my attic 6 wks prior, which apparently involved adjustments to gas/pipes in the attic (which I was not made aware of). The first time I turned on my heat, gas leaked & a fire occured in the attic. We are VERY fortunate a horrific situation did not occur. Many thanks to Diamond for handling all repairs, reinstilling our peace of mind & safety - and at an affordable price. And Scott did an outstanding job.

It went well. They came and look at it and schedule the appointment after the purchase. There was no additional amount other than big deal purchase. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

I was not happy. They did the inspection, told me I needed 1400.00 worth of other service and did not clean my ducts.

Diamond was willing to come out the evening the renter reported the problem, but the renter preferred they wait until morning since they could sleep downstairs. Diamond was prompt and efficient. They have done the regular servicing on this house for a couple of years after I originally found them on Angie's List. The problem was quickly found and repaired.

Purchased a big deal on Angie's List. Diamond Quality Services was responsive ad flexible in scheduling. They arrived on time and did exactly what was agreed to. They also provided recommendations & estimates on improving the energy efficiency of the house. The estimate was competitive but a little high. Therefore, choose not to have the duct improvements done by them. Overall would use them again if they provide a good estimate.

They did a good job. I felt like they raised the price and I didn't get a discount.

The service turned out very well. He was very helpful and came out when he said he would. I even recommended them to my mother. The total cost was around $600 because we have two units. When I recommended them to others I said that they were honest. I thought it was a good price. They had good reviews, and that they would be able to kind of tell what the problem was and maybe go on from there. They came out right away.

I purchased a house that, unfortunately, came with a major rat infestation. While restoring the attic, I discovered that the rats had destroyed most of the AC ducts. Diamond Quality Services came out to give me an estimate on replacing the ducts and found some additional maintenance issues with the coil and blower. They explained what was needed, and how they could re-install the ducts for more efficient air distribution that what the builder had done. On the scheduled work day, they showed up 2 hours late because some of the crew had called in sick. Even though they were short two people, they worked tirelessly through the Texas heat to get the job done on time and on budget - there were no surprises. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I would recommend them to anyone needing this kind of work.

Used them once. They came to do a tune-up of our heat pump at a reasonable pre-negotiated price (coupon). The two gentlemen were very friendly and appeared knowledgeable, though I got the impression their experience was a little limited. The price for the service increased greatly when they said we needed freon and added it. They felt there may be a leak in the heat exchanger causing the freon loss, and the estimated price to replace it was very high. I would like to get a second opinion before I could say they were correct or not, therefore they won't be the next folks I call.

This ended up costing me way more money, I obviously had a leak from froen and he didn't even check to see where the leak was. Overall, I was not satisified with this service.

Scott has been working on this problem for a while now. We thought it was mold and they cleaned out the ducts. Then it happened again and it appeared that there was not enough return venting so we put in a return vent. This time we discovered (since it is over 80 degrees outside) that one of the coils was frozen and that was causing the humidity and condensation issues. Scott refused to give up until he found and corrected the problem. He did not charge me for this last visit and with all the he did, it would have been a healthy bill. All his people were courteous, on time, professional, AND they cleaned up after they were finished (which you hardly ever see anymore). Scott himself was up on a ladder cleaning the vents and the ceilings. I could not have asked for any better service and I am giving up my long-term for twice yearly inspections with a company that never found any of these problems and from now on, no one will touch my A/C unit but Scott's crew!!
