I had some work done on my yard and as a result needed a section of my sprinkler system replaced. Unfortunately there were several problems that hid beneath the earth (due to poor workmanship yrs ago) that Austin had the joy of uncovering. He was very responsive,and professional. It was 100 degrees out and he took the time to answer all of my questions and walk me through what needed to do done. His work ethic and integrity are exceptional (plus he's super nice)...I would not hesitate to hire him again.

Received a call from my son at ~ 3:30 on a Friday that we had no running water in the house. Our neighbor saw that water was running out of the box at the street and wasn't sure if it was our issue or her's, but she called the water dept and asked them to check it out. The City called me and told me what the problem was, indicating that it appeared to be poor workmanship by the sprinkler system installer {system is 3 years old}. They recommended that I call an Irrigation specialist to make the repair. I went to Angie's List and started making phone calls. I wasn't very hopeful that I would find anyone who would come out at the end of the day on a Friday, but when I reached Austin, he said that he was only 10 minutes away and would come check it out. Austin fixed my problem within the hour and I had running water once again! {Side note: Austin is also very handsome!}

I called on Tuesday afternoon, and he came Wednesday afternoon. He show up on time, worked swiftly, and cleaned up after his work. I would highly recommend Austin Irrigation.

I cannot say enough GREAT things about Austin's work. There were 2 bad leaks in the sprinkler system with standing water in 2 separate areas of the yard. Within 1 hour, Austin identified the problem as a bad valve which fixed both leaks. The standing water began to dry up immediately. He also replaced a bad doublecheck AND came by late the next night to look at a leak that was coming out of the water meter (which had nothing to do with him). In summary, he went above and beyond the norm, worked hard, was very kind, and I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Austin came within a day to repair a broken sprinkler pipe. He repaired the pipe quickly and efficiently, offered good advice on running our sprinklers, and replaced and tweaked a second sprinkler head after I added in a concern about it. He did all the work quickly, and was nice and professional. We will use him again.

Couldn't be more pleased. Had not used the sprinkler system in about two years due to a leak by the meter. The original installer many years ago did a sub par job. Austin came out ready to dig in. Quick, responsive, kept us informed, pointed out other possible future issues. Very satisfied with the service. If anything else goes wrong he's the guy for the job.

We noticed a section in our back yard was dying, discovered that zone 5 had stopped operating. Having used Austin several months ago for repairs and the replacement of our control panel (still awesome!) and finding his service to be excellent, I called him. He was able to stop by the following afternoon as I'd requested. It had to have been 150 degrees in the shade when he showed up, but he immediately got to work. He had everything running perfectly in about an hour. He also swapped out a sprinkler head to provide better coverage along the street, (gratis!). Again, an excellent experience! When you find a technician that you like and trust, who is also very reasonably priced, there's no reason to go elsewhere. I wouldn't use any other irrigation company!

Great experience! Called him a day prior and he was able to come out the following day. He called when he was on his way, worked quickly and efficiently and got the job done well. Will definitley use him in the future for all our sprinkler needs!

Austin dug them out and repositioned the lines; replaced the heads and all is well again. He was on time and went to work on the spot. He charges $95 hr. but does not waste time--he works hard and quickly. (he had to use an axe on some of the roots) Very happy with the quality of work he did. For sprinkler system work--he's our man.

This was our second experience with Austin. He bid the project and told us about other jobs that were ahead of us. This was no problem since this was not a time critical project, just an upgrade. He called during the week and said he would be there to work on Saturday. He got Dig Test to mark our yard for utilities. He showed up on Saturday, dug trenches and installed the system. At the end, the spinklers covered the lawn as they never have before. This is the way the system should have been installed by some previous owner. Very satisfied with the work and will not hesitate to call Austin again if we ever have irrigation needs.

He tried to work us in at night. He said he was $95 per hr and that he was hoping to get us going as soon as possible. He first came over on Thursday evening and worked 3 hrs. Sprinkler system still was not working when he left. He came over on Sat evening and worked 4 more hrs, still our system was not working. On this 2nd night, we actually expected more individuals to come work with him, but it became apparent to us that he was a one man company ... and since our sprinkler system still was not working, were getting worried. He came back out on Monday for another 3 hrs, did some re-wiring and finally our system was working. He said that our system was in bad shape but that he thinks he made all of the repairs. At this point, we did not have much confidence and wanted to pay what we owed and access what was left. The sprinkler system worked but several heads were loose (one was completely off and floading the street), there was a section in the back that was very done very poorly, the heads were working but were not aimed at anything except concrete or they were barely bubbling over .... we also had a lot of cut wires just hanging around ... we have dogs and kids so my husband had to go back around to make adjustments to clean everything up. So, at least he got the system working and fixed most of our leaks. We think we have one or two more leaks and are once again saving our money and the next time, will make sure that whoever we pick has more than one person as well as do an overall assessment after the initial estimated repair time.

Very pleased with the very timely service. Austin was prepared to do the job the same day as the initial estimate, but I had requested a larger controller, so it took a day to obtain it. Repairs completed just in time for the hot Texas summer! This is who you want working on your sprinkler system.

Austin called the morning of the service with the time that he expected to arrive within the hour and did indeed arrive at that time. He immediately began working and looked for ways to cut costs where possible. He finished the job in a timely manner and at all times kept me informed of what he was working on. The job was completed with all issues being addressed.

Austin, himself, answered my call on Tuesday afternoon. I had called our previous sprinkler company to repair a broken pipe leading to the sprinkler head aside of our mailbox. Haven't been able to run the sprinker in a few weeks, needed repair ASAP, ideally Wednesday, the following day. My current company couldn't get to us until the following Friday. I then continued my Angie's reviews, which is where I found "Austin's Irrigation." Austin was able to fit me into his schedule the following day, Wednesday, which is my day off from work. Short notice? No doubt. Austin's flexibility and commitment to help his customers? So far, A+. He arrived as scheduled, very pleasant and friendly guy. He has a "handy-man" look about him that puts you at ease. He also seemed to know exactly what he was doing. While I told him about the pipe, I asked if he could install a new riser to clear some bricks that we just put down earlier in the day. Also asked him about the thoughts of replacing our control panel, which was installed in 1993, had disagreeable dip switches which were semi-functional on a good day, and the automatic timer crapped out a year or so ago. He explained a lot of the changes that have taken place in control panels, and no more unpredictable dip switches. It was also compliant with up and coming changes in requirements for rain-sensing and temperature-sensing shut-off systems. And as luck would have it, he happened to have an extra panel in his truck. I really hated to write the bigger check, but I told him to go for it. He fixed the pipe first so it could have a little extra drying time for the bond, then swapped out the riser, then onto the new panel. It was much smaller than the old one, and almost appearing to be overly simplistic, like it might not do much. One big dial in the middle with color-coded indicators around the face, and a couple of large blue buttons on the top on each side of the LCD display panel. I thought it looked like Playskool got involved in a new product line, and not necessarily a tech-savvy product. WHOA was I wrong! The panel is both brilliant AND absolutely simplistic! With the versatility of control, and multiple programs that can be done WITHOUT a college degree, I'm actually excited about watering the lawn! I have an electronics background and was mentally preparing to have to learn something new, but this system is designed with the ease-of-use for a total novice, with the technological sophistication of a NASA scientist! I'm so glad we ponied up the extra bucks to get this done! But back to Austin's work -- (I'm still in awe over the control panel) -- he's a top-notch technician, a good guy, and definitely someone I'd recommend to neighbors, friends, and colleagues! Had a leak in the lawn sprinkler system. Looked on AngiesList for the top rated contractor in the area. It was Austin. Called at 1PM, arrived exactly as promised at 3PM. Went right to work, completed repairs quickly. Explained the work to me, showed me defective parts and replacements. Price less than expected. Very satisfied with Austin. Will use for any future work of this time and will recommend to my neighbors. Highly recommended.

Austin Owens is the person that owns it. I liked the way he worked and he was pretty theoretic. He had all his supplies and equipment in a bucket to put a sprinkler system together. He was definitely not professional in the terms of his supplies, but that does not mean he couldn?t do a good job. He did a good job, but he worked 3 hours one afternoon and then came back the next afternoon and worked another 3 hours and charged $100 an hour. He did not have a helper with him because I thought my wife told me that he would have one. He was very responsive and he came out when he said he would. I would not use him again because he did not have his equipment to do this little job and also did not have enough parts and used some of my piping. He had to stop work and go to the hardware, which is no big deal because that can happen to anybody.

I identified the leak late on Saturday night and called Austin right away, he was out of town and quickly pointed out as to where to cut off the water so that water will not be leaking out of there. He came over Wednesday and fixed everything just like was promised.

Called Austin and he came out on a Saturday. The job was even bigger than i thought since tree roots had broken a tee in the line (not just the line), so he had to dig around both sides of the tree to reconnect both lines. He worked on Saturday afternoon in the rain until the rain was too heavy. He came back on Sunday afternoon and finished the job! He also dug out and replaced a popup in another zone that was not working well. The service could not have been any better and the price was reasonable too! This was my first time paying for someone to work on my sprinklers, but it was worth every penny and i will use Austin again for any job that is harder than a simple head replacement.

He was a super nice guy. The day he came out to do all of the work it was pouring down rain and he worked until it started thundering. At that point he left and he came back out on a Saturday morning to finish the work. He came out on time and was very honest, clean, and dependable. I give Austin's Irrigation all A's.

Austin was available to provide a quote the same day and did the repairs the next day. The quote was reasonable and he did not try to sell me more than I needed. The work was completed on time and the results are great.
