+ -1 moreWent well - we thought we had a bad leak under our driveway as the water was bubbling up in a crack in the middle of the driveway. Austin told me on the phone it may not be under the driveway as the water just may be coming up there to get out. He was exactly right and it was only a sprinkler head that broke by the driveway. He came out the same day I called him even though he had a full schedule. I really appreciated his service and coming so quickly.

+ -1 moreI have hired Austin previously and he continues to do an OUTSTANDING job. He is friendly, on-time and will make sure the job is done right the first time. Best of all he is reasonable for the work he charges. I highly recommend Austin for any job you have. If I bought a new house or needed to install a new system, there is no one else I would call.
Description of Work: I had two issues - 1) A sprinkler zone was not working at all and 2) I found an underground leak. Austin contacted me within the same day I called and made arrangements to stop by to inspect. He called 30 minutes prior to the agreed upon time to let me know he was on his way. Upon arrival I explained the two situations. Austin started on the underground leak first, as it seemed to be a main line imacting the water pressure elsewhere in the yard. This project turned out to be bigger than expected, the point where I thought we had a leak was not the main line, just the path of least resistance for the water. Austin took his time and was able to find the leak, it was 6 feet way from where it came to the surface. Austin did not waver at all during this hunt, he has a great attitude and does not give up easily. The other issue turned out to be a wiring issue. Austin found where the wiring had grounded out and would not open the valve. the wiruing was done about 5 years earlier by the Pool Company. Obviously, they did not connect the wiring correctly or protect it from water damage. All of his work is cleaned up around the repairs so you don't have any issues with dirt or grass growing back.

True to his word he came back the next day and did the repairs. He also used copper pipe to bring it up to code. I am very satisfied with his work and professionalism. Did I mention it was freezing cold and he had to work in water?

+ -1 moreMy initial thought was he would investigate, then make another appointment for repairing system. Not so, with Austin you get immediate help. I put the system on manual and started each zone, while Austin walked and investigated each head. After diagnosing what was needed, he went to work. He is cordial and professional, no wasted time ! Out of all the selections in Angie's List, I am very satisfied with Austin's and will retain his phone number for future occurrences.
Description of Work: I was looking for someone to repair and tuneup my system. Austin answered my phone call and showed up as scheduled. One Zone not working, and individual heads were leaking reducing water pressure to other heads. He corrected those heads or replaced defective ones, corrected spray distribution and leveled those heads that were depressed too deep in the soil. Defective wiring in the one Zone corrected and gave instruction on how to set the controller for better absorption rate, rather than flooding areas by using one setting.

I was very pleased with his prompt service. He performed the necessary repairs and the sprinkler system has been working just great since then. Austin was very professional, didn't waste any time getting the job done and I am very pleased overall with his company. I highly recommend his services.

We looked to Angie's List for a good company to call and found Austin's Irrigation. We called and scheduled a day and time for them to come out. When Austin arrived, he looked everything over and gave us an estimate of the work that needed to be done and a price. We were happy with the price and OK'd for him to go ahead with the work. He immediately went to work and finished in a very timely manner. We would definitely recommend this company to everyone.

He repaired the leak and raised the heads in less than two hours. He stated his rate and what he could do before he started the work. Clear communication and easy to do business with.

+ -1 moreHe is great and his name is Owen Austin. He would top the list in irrigation. This is the first one who ever got it right and he fixed the whole system and he was so good that the neighbors watched and hired him. One of our neighbor's dogs jumped over our fence and dug one of the pipes. He put some concrete blocks around it so the dog cannot dig any more. He put in a regulator which tells the outside temperature and rain. It turns on and off the watering system entirely if it gets too cold or it rains. He replaced the pipe and the sprinkler and put those concrete blocks so the dog cannot dig again. The job turned out really well. This is the guy to go to. He shows up and he only does repairs. He no longer does brand new irrigation systems. He only does repairs but when he does them it is really good. He checks the system and he makes sure you have enough coverage and the area is covered. He is really good. Everyone in my neighborhood use him. I would give him a star. We would use him till we are in this place. His card is in the index book at home. Sometimes the guys who do the lawn break the sprinkler heads and we call Austin and the next day it is fixed. He is really good.

Description of Work: I had a sprinkler system leak where one of the sprinkler valves wasn't completely closing. Austin did find the valve and fix it to stop the leak. I also asked him to map out the remaining valves in my yard so I would know where they were. He found most of them but had to leave the job early for a social engagement that evening. I felt like he didn't complete the job I asked him to do and he never offered to come back to complete it either. I also felt he overcharged me for the work that was done. Overall, I was very disappointed in the service I received. I would not use him again.

+ 0 moreWe noticed water accumulating in the box that contains the main water shutoff valve - water was flowing out of the box and into the yard. Austin determined that a sprinkler line near the valve was broken by testing our system overnight, he fixed it the following day. We've used Austin twice before, he's extremely reliable and knows what he's doing. He shows up, works hard, gets job done correctly. And even though he's very friendly and pleasant, he doesn't chit chat and tally up the labor charge. He's also trustworthy and seems to have a lot of integrity. Hire him once and he'll be your sprinkler repair guy for life!
