+ -1 more.They quickly identified all of the sprinklers and the issues with each one. They put together a quote and had all of the supplies that were needed on the truck. The sod that was removed to access the sprinklers was replaced neatly. I was very happy with their efficiency and professionalism. The one thing that they did that was above and beyond was they checked to see the restricted watering days for my neighborhood and set the sprinkler system accordingly. I will continue to call A I Sprinklers whenever need arises
Description of Work: My sprinklers are getting old and not retracting all of the way down so they were getting cut off by mowers. I also had some directional sprinklers that were spraying at the fence and house instead of the lawn.

He arrived at the early end of the window he setup, listened to my concerns, did a full inspection and even replaced a few minor parts without charging me anything additional. He seemed very knowledgeable and was extremely courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend and call A-1 for any future sprinkler needs.

+ -1 moreI mention that I asked him first about the landscaping and the soaker hoses because I want to stress that he didn’t try to up-sell us or talk us in to anything at any time. He – my husband and I felt – was completely honest with us at all times. My husband is a hard one to impress and Israel earned my husband’s trust. We definitely recommend A.I. Sprinklers and would use them again in the future for our sprinkler system and we are having him send us a design plan for our landscaping. Overall, we had an amazing experience. He gave us much needed information on what we had and what we needed and how our system should work by zones. I can tell that his business means a lot to him and the quality of his work and his employee's work means a lot to him. I am trying to think of anything that I thought that they could do better and I can't think of anything. They did a fantastic job.
Description of Work: Our home was built in 1989 and I am sure the sprinkler system is almost as old. We've owned the house 6 years and the sprinklers had never been serviced. We purchased Tune-up service for $59 to see what we were dealing with - we knew we had some sprinklers off and some flooding in other areas. It turns out we even had a leak in another area that we didn't know about. There were several repairs Israel made including replacing some sprinkler heads. He and another gentleman were here about 3 hours and my husband and I felt they did an amazing job - extremely thorough. Before he even came out, I made two phone calls to Mr. Solis - one making sure he serviced our Richardson area and then second to set up an appointment after I paid for tune up. He answered the phone immediately both times. He also called on date of appointment to let us know he was on his way. He spent a good deal of time examining our system and completing the work listed for the tune up. He let us know that we did need additional repairs – as expected – and it would be additional $150. For all of the work he did and the time he took, this was money well spent. He answered all of our questions that we asked regarding the type of equipment we had and how old he thought it was. Since our type of soaker hoses were so old, we asked him how much he thought it would be to replace them and he said around $600 for 600 ft. of hose plus labor. I did a little quick research and found, apples for apples, the same hose for $485 NOT including labor or the fittings. (It’s also not as easy as one might think to install your own soaker hoses after doing research on this also.) So of course, the price he was quoting was extremely reasonable. We asked him if he could come back out to repair/replace the soaker hoses and he came out the next Saturday – May 4th. Mr. Solis came out exactly when he said he would and he brought 4 gentlemen with him. They worked quickly and efficiently and were done in a couple of hours. After the work, Mr. Solis even drew a diagram for me indicating where along the house the soaker hoses were laid and how they looped around because we mentioned we wanted to do some future landscaping. We’d asked him if he knew anything about landscaping and he said he actually does this too but doesn’t advertise (he gave me permission to mention this).

They were quickily able to check everything and let me know what they were doing. They found two problem areas, and came to me to see if I wanted them to fix them. They quoted me a very reasonable price, and fixed them very quickly. I will use them from now on for yearly check-ups or any service related issues.
Description of Work: I called A I Sprinklers because I wanted a tune up on my sprinkler system, and I wasn't sure that it was working properly. They were able to come out very quickly. They came out to inspect the system and check on a possible issue with a couple of the sprinkler heads. They checked out everything, and came back to me with a couple of recommendations - one was to fix a problem with wiring that they found, and to fix a problem that was leaking in the front. The pricing was very good, and they fixed everything very quickly.

Description of Work: We did use A 1 Sprinklers. They came out and turned off the water and they gave a quote and it was sky high so we choose another company to get it fixed. They came and gave us the quote either the end of March or the end of April.

+ -1 moreIsrael Solius's son showed up and went to check and reposition all my sprinkler heads. After doing so, he advised me of the additional cost to replace the missing sprinkler heads. I used the Angie;s List Discount of $59.00 for the Full Sprinkler Tune-Up and paid the additional 54.00 for the new sprinkler heads. Great deal! And it took about 30minutes to finish the job. Her also reset my timers for the correct times for each zone and the days of the week to water. I can't thank him enough for a Job Well-Done!!!

Description of Work: Isreal and A-1 did a full inspection of my home sprinkler system. (24 yrs old, 34 sprinklers) They made the necessary adjustments, cleaned dirty spray heads,adjusted flow rates and coverage areas to make sure the system was working properly. In addition, they dug up and checked a station valve to assure it was working correctly. After they were finished, Isreal explained everything they had done in detail and told me the system was in great shape. He did everything I had requested and did not try to up-sell me! I was very impressed with their professionalism and positive attitude. I will definitely recommend them and use them again!

Description of Work: Purchased the big deal sprinkler inspection and tune-up. This being my first home with a sprinkler system and had not used since moving in at end of 10/2012 I thought an inspection and check up was necessary since I knew one zone did not function. Isreal came out and inspected the system and determined the problem was with the box and replaced along with four sprinkler heads. The original quote was aprox $ 50.00 more but he was able to complete the job in less time and reduced the labor cost accordingly. I am very pleased with service as the new box is much simpler to use and program and all zones and heads are working perfectly.

+ -1 moreThe workers were diligent and careful to ensure that all problems were resolved. The issues were poor water pressure, lack of sprinkler coverage. They talked me into more work than was probably necessary, but as my system is at least 25 years old it's likely the replacement of all the valves and main control unit at once will save me time and money in the long run. They were professional and courteous, and I would definitely recommend them.
Description of Work: Searched for existing leaks, replaced all 6 irrigation valves, moved the valves from underneath the deck to a more accessible location and properly covered them in green boxes, replaced the main control unit, and adjusted the sprinkler heads to get full coverage of the yard.

He and his crew arrived on time and they were all professional and courteous. They did the job quickly and efficiently and completed all of the work in 2 days. Throughout the process we had questions and made a few changes and he addressed all of our concerns and issues immediately. They left the yard neat and clean.
