mostly great. was told 6 days, but took over 2 weeks. make sure everything you discuss as to what is going to be done is in your contract because there are extra charges if not on the contract even though you discuss it and think its part of the price he gives you. eventually they completed the job and it does look nice. they don't always show up when they say they will be there. we work and it is important on timing.

Great service and excellent workmanship. The workmen were very dedicated to every detail of the remodel. I am very pleased with the great job they did. Excellent choice of contractor!

TERRIBLE WORKMANSHIP. Do not hire Ben and his crew. They are so awful. Sloppy work, several mistakes, a 10 day job turned into a nightmare. There's so many things that need to be touched up or redone, we finally just decided to fix the cosmetic stuff ourselves so we didn't have to deal with them anymore. This bathroom reno cost us DOUBLE per square foot than our complete kitchen reno and the work is shoddy at BEST. The really simple things like paint, caulk, etc. it looks like he hired a 5 year old. So terrible. Do yourself a favor and find someone that is actually worth the money they charge. Ben is MIA most of the time, I felt like I was the project manager. He also either had too much going on to pay attention to detail to instruct his team or he doesn't listen, either way unacceptable. He will blame you for any shortcomings. So if you do hire him and his crew, get ready for that. At the end of the day, it's a disappointing $15k guest bathroom.

Timing a bit off. Start date a day late due to crew was sent to another job. I was told Job would take 5-7 days. It actually took 11 days. Given that I am very happy though with the outcome and skilled work done. My bathroom looks Amazing!

Ben kept in touch on a regular - but not overbearing - basis. He was available by phone or text, even on the weekends. The subcontractors were professional and skilled. I would definitely recommend this company.

This company us excellent! Ben is a great contractor. He tells you the specifics of the job and keeps you updated on the progress of the job. His tradesmen are wonderful and efficient in their fields. They are all very respectful , trustworthy and accommodating. I felt very relaxed with them all. My mmaster bath was remodeled and looks great! They also removed my back french doors and replaced them with a better set of french doors. They swept up any debris daily before they left. I recommend them highly!!!

A few communications issues midstream but once Ben took over everything was completed as promised. Quality of the craftsmanship was excellent.

Ben and his team were very professional and thorough. Anytime we had a question or concern, Ben would immediately respond. We were beyond happy with our remodel and wouldnâ t hesitate to recommend him I would definitely call Ben again for future projects.

He never completed the job. He told us he would come back and review the mistakes and he failed to keep the appointments. We had to take care of some of the trash and he still has material in our garage. He will not return our calls and we do not understand why, what s remaining to do is not that extensive and the material in the garage has value and can be used on another job. One of his workers stumbled going down the stairs and ran into the storm door and broke the catch and bent the frame where it will not close without assistance.

They were helpful and professional

Everyone was very professional. We started a project that ended up being much larger but they still managed to get it done in a reasonable time. Would love to mention everyone but can t remember everyone s name. I will try from Ben, Ismael, Lolo ,( I think Alfredo), to all the rest they were very respectful and helpful. Special mention of Luis who did the grout and painted the end product. Stayed late to finish up one night. I will definitely recommend them and plan on hiring them for next project. This was a very good decision and we talked to several contractors.

I inquired and Ben called me directly. He accommodated everything we needed, including same day visit and estimate. Work started immedietly and a complete bathroom remodel was done in 5 days, and looks AMAZING!!! Actually talking to him about other projects in the house, since they are pretty much a one stop shop.

Ben is an excellent contractor who has an outstanding team of professional craftsmen, and they had their work cut out for them. Our 42-year-old house has 2 bathrooms which had previously been 'remodeled' by nonprofessionals. We had no idea what was behind the tile in the master bath, or what to expect once it was all removed...yes, there were surprises, but Ben's team was prepared and did an outstanding job correcting them. We now have a beautiful new updated bathroom that still blends with rustic age of our home. Their perfection and attention to detail is second to none. Ben is a hands-on, detail oriented contractor who has an excellent team of tradesmen on his crew. My kitchen remodel turned out beautiful, on time and within budget. From moment we got our free estimate until he personally hauled off the last bit of trash he was available by phone and text to answer questions. He kept me informed on what was happening next and took care of everything. I already got a proposal and estimate for my upcoming bathroom remodel.

The quality of the workmanship is second to none, everyone from the demo guys to the finishes to everything in between. They care about the work, took the time to do it right, and whenever we highlighted an item that we didn't care for, it was fixed and improved. They are incredibly responsive via text message, answers often in minutes and never more than half a day. Overall I believe we paid top dollar for the work, it was not cheap by any means, but the final product was worth it, the estimate did not change (with exception to things unable to quote - once the drywall came off) -- and then the price increase was clearly explained and approved. The entire project occurred during the Covid19 initial start, and the level effort did not diminish, the communications maintained. If you want truly top level construction work, great communications, and a satisfaction guarantee - I believe you cannot go wrong with A Better Home and Ben and his teams.

This was my first remodel project with A Better Home and I m pleased with the results of their work. Had 2 bathrooms remodeled. Both look amazing. Ben is easy to work with and was available to answer any and all of my questions. I shopped around with other companies. Glad I selected A Better Home. Very good experience!

The contractors hired for both bathroom renovations were very professional, skilled and polite and the end product looks beautiful. As far as budget. Watch out for overages with unexpected addons. Also, they have samples but have your own design in mind and stick to it.

Good communication. Quality work completed in a timely fashion. No short cuts. Will definitely hire them again.

Ben and Noah did an excellent job in redesigning our master bathroom. New shower, new tile, new counter tops and new mirrors.The job started 5 days later and was essentially finished within 8 working days. The workers, all of whom are direct employees, were highly skilled, neat and courteous of our needs.

Ben was a pleasure to work with and the contractors that did the work were wonderful, they were friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond of what was asked.
